• ExtJS Data Grid Column renderer to have multiple values

  Hi, I am wondering if it is possible in ExtJS to have several values of the data source available to the renderer of the column. For example with the "Actions" column, the id is passed to the renderer. However I require both the user_id and id passed to the render. • Is using GET with a tokenID for security a good idea?

  I was thinking about this and it appears POST only a little less vulnerable and somewhat harder (do to requiring the user to click something). Now it seems like i put the session id as a token in each of my forms and check them bc attackers cant guess these tokens. However i dislike the idea of putting the session id into the page for ppl to see. But really, is there a problem with that? short of having the user copy/pasting the html is there any attacks that can happen due to the session id being in plain view in html?

• Send/cache multidimensional array to php with jQuery

  hy, i have a little, big problem here :) after i upload some images i get a list with all the images. I have some jQuery function for rotate, duplicate, delete, shuffle images! when i select a image and hit delete i send a post to php with the alt="" value of the image,i identify the picture and edit. (using code_set_id as primary key in code_set and code_set_id as foreign key in cartridge). Mapping with GORM can be done without intermediate table?

• Managing Foreign Keys

  So I have a database with a few tables. The first table contains the user ID, first name and last name. The second table contains the user ID, interest ID, and interest rating. There is another table that has all of the interest ID's. For every interest ID (even when new ones are added), I need to make sure that each user has an entry for that interest ID (even if its blank, or has defaults). Will foreign keys help with this scenario? or will I need to use PHP to update each and every record when I add a new key?

  Hi! i have 2 tables: account: ID, ACC, AE_CCY, DRCR_IND, AMOUNT, MODULE flex: ID, ACC, AE_CCY, DRCR_IND, AMOUNT, MODULE I want to show differences comparing only by: AE_CCY, DRCR_IND, AMOUNT, MODULE and ACC by first 4 characters Example: ID ACC AE_CCY DRCR_IND AMOUNT MODULE -- --------- ------ -------- ------ ------ 1 734647674 USD D 100 OP and in flex: ID ACC AE_CCY DRCR_IND AMOUNT MODULE -- --------- ------ -------- ------ ------ 1 734647654 USD D 100 OP 2 734665474 USD D 100 OP 9 734611111 USD D 100 OP ID's 2 and 9 should be shown as differences. If I use FULL JOIN I'll get no differences as substr(account.ACC,1,4) = substr(flex.ACC,1,4) are equal and others are equal and MINUS doesn't work because ID's different. Thanks.

  I have two tables, House and Person. For any row in House, there can be 0, 1 or many corresponding rows in Person. But, of those people, a maximum of one will have a status of "ACTIVE", the others will all have a status of "CANCELLED". e.g. SELECT * FROM House LEFT JOIN Person ON House.ID = Person.HouseID House.ID | Person.ID | Person.Status 1 | 1 | CANCELLED 1 | 2 | CANCELLED 1 | 3 | ACTIVE 2 | 1 | ACTIVE 3 | NULL | NULL 4 | 4 | CANCELLED I want to filter out the cancelled rows, and get something like this: House.ID | Person.ID | Person.Status 1 | 3 | ACTIVE 2 | 1 | ACTIVE 3 | NULL | NULL 4 | NULL | NULL I've achieved this with the following sub select: SELECT * FROM House LEFT JOIN ( SELECT * FROM Person WHERE Person.Status != "CANCELLED" ) Person ON House.ID = Person.HouseID ...which works, but breaks all the indexes. Is there a better solution that doesn't? I'm using MySQL and all relevant columns are indexed. EXPLAIN lists nothing in possible_keys. Thanks.

  I have two tables that I need to join... I want to join table1 and table2 on 'id' - however in table two id is not unique. I only want one value returned for table two, and this value represents the sum of a column called 'total_sold' - within a specified date range (say one month).. SELECT ta.id, tb.total_sold as total_sold_this_week FROM table_a as ta LEFT JOIN table_b as tb ON ta.id=tb.id AND tb.date_sold BETWEEN ADDDATE(NOW(),INTERVAL -3 WEEK) AND NOW() this works but does not SUM the rows - only returning one row for each id... how do I get the sum from table b instead of only one row??? Please criticise if format of question could use more work - I can rewrite and provide sample data if required - this is a trivialised version of a much larger problem. -Thanks

  I have an nHibernate querie issue that looks quite straight forward, but I can't seem to get my head around it! I am creating some simple example classes to illustrate my problem: public class Car { public int Id { get; set; } public IList<Interior> InteriorParts { get; set; } } public class Interior { public int Id { get; set; } public InteriorProducer Producer { get; set; } } public class InteriorProducer { public int Id { get; set; } } Now to the query: I have the id of the InteriorProducer, but need to get a list of Cars where the interior have been produced by the interior producer. So in a simple, pseudo SQL, it looks something like this: select cars where car.InteriorParts.Producer.Id = Id I have a really hard time getting my head around this to create an nHibernate query. • jquery tablesorter problem in FF only - header row disappears after show-hide of rows

  When the page loads, all the records show. Sorting works great until show-hide is used to filter the rows so only some show. Then the header row--with the arrows for sorting--DISAPPEARS. The problem is only in Firefox. It works great in IE7 and IE8. I'm using jQuery 1.4.2 from google. • SQL multiple primary keys - localization

  I am trying to implement some localization in my database. It looks something like this (prefixes only for clarification) tbl-Categories ID Language Name tbl-Articles ID CategoryID Now, in my tbl-Categories, I want to have primary keys spanning ID and language, so that every combination of ID and language is unique. In tbl-Articles I would like a foreign key to reference ID in categories, but not Language, since I do not want to bind an article to a certain language, only category. Of course, I cannot add a foreign key to part of the primary key. I also cannot have the primary key only on the ID of categories, since then there can only be one language. Having no primary keys disables foreign keys altogether, and that is also not a great solution. Do you have any ideas how I can solve this in an elegant fashion? Thanks.

  Hi All, is there a way to retrieve only the immediate children found by a call to DOMElement::getElementsByTagName? For example, I have an XML document that has a category element. That category element has sub category elements (which have the same structure), like: <category> <id>1</id> <name>Top Level Category Name</name> <subCategory> <id>2</id> <name>Sub Category Name</name> </subCategory> ... </category> If I have a DOMElement representing the top level category, $topLevelCategoryElement->getElementsByTagName('id'); will return a list with the nodes for all 'id' elements, where I want just the one from the top level. Any way to do this outside of using XPath?

I supposed i can do it via relation between Id and Parent Id ( and set cascade for delete rule ) , But when i do that in MMS , the Delete Rule or Update Rule in Properties is disabled . My question is , What can i do to accomplish this ? Thank you

• Difficulty adding widgets to django form.

  I have a django app that tracks activities that can benefit a classroom. Using the django examples, I was able to build a form to enter this data. But when I try to add widgets to that form, things get tricky. What I want is a calendar widget that lets the user enter the 'activity_date' field using a widget. If I use Admin interface. The AdminDateWidget works fine. however. This particular user isn't allowed access to the admin interface so I need a different way to present this widget. Also I couldn't figure out how to make the bring the admin widget over into non-admin pages. So I tried a custom widget. This is the first custom widget I've built, so I'm not quite sure what is supposed to be going on here. Any Expert Advice? • How can I write a "user can only access own profile page" type of security check in Play Framework?

  I have a Play framework application that has a model like this: A Company has one and only one User associated with it. I have URLs like http://www.example.com/companies/1234, http://www.example.com/companies/1234/departments, http://www.example.com/companies/1234/departments/employees and so on. The numbers are the company id's, not the user id's. I want that normal users (not admins) should only be able to access their own profile pages, not other people's profile pages. So a user associated with the company with id 1234 should not be able to access the URL http://www.example.com/companies/6789 I tried to accomplish this by overriding Secure.check() and comparing the request parameter "id" to the ID of the company associated with the logged in user. However, this obviously fails if the parameter is called anything else than "id". Does anyone know how this could be accomplished?

• Transaction issue in java with hibernate - latest entries not pulled from database

  Hi, I'm having what seems to be a transactional issue in my application. I'm using Java 1.6 and Hibernate 3.2.5. My application runs a monthly process where it creates billing entries for a every user in the database based on their monthly activity. These billing entries are then used to create Monthly Bill object. The process is: Get users who have activity in the past month Create the relevant billing entries for each user Get the set of billing entries that we've just created Create a Monthly Bill based on these entries Everything works fine until Step 3 above. The Billing Entries are correctly created (I can see them in the database if I add a breakpoint after the Billing Entry creation method), but they are not pulled out of the database. As a result, an incorrect Monthly Bill is generated. If I run the code again (without clearing out the database), new Billing Entries are created and Step 3 pulls out the entries created in the first run (but not the second run). This, to me, is very confusing. What is the best design, both from an architectural and a perfomance perspective: 1. To have table with all tags and then have a one to many relationship table that links a tag like this: articles table with ID tags table with ID one to many table with columns Article.ID and Tags.ID 2. What do I have to change?
