    I am learning Django from http://gettingstartedwithdjango.com/ and I have windows 7 32-bit. The tutorial asked to install virtualbox and vagrant(tutorial had precise64 and it had issues in my pc so I installed precise32) so I did it.     I have an ExpressionEngine site at http://example.com and a WordPress blog at http://example.com/blog ...the problem is, any WP pages that don't map directly to an index.php end up being handled by ExpressionEngine, which results in a 404. For example, http://example.com/blog and http://example.com/blog/wp-admin both work fine as they both directly use an index.php in those folders, but http://example.com/blog/category/tag/something gets handled by ExpressionEngine. So how can I modify the ExpressionEngine .htaccess file to tell it to ignore anything in the /blog directory? Any thoughts? I have re installed glassfish and NetBeans but it all seems the same. I think this started happening after I had to force-restart my computer with NetBeans stil open and the app deployed, but it's hard to know for sure if this was the real catalyst. Any thoughts or help is appreciated thanks. Is it an app error? if so why no errors in the log are shown?

  • Calling a .NET web service (WSE 3.0, WS-Security) from JAXWS-RI

    I'm writing a JAXWS-RI client that must call a .NET Web Service that is using WS-Security. The service's WSDL does not contain any WS-Security info, but I have an example soap message from the service's authors and know that I must include wsse:Security headers, including X:509 tokens. I've been researching, and I've seen example of folks calling this type of web service from Axis and CXF (in conjunction with Rampart and/or WSS4J), but nothing about using plain JAXWS-RI itself. However, I'm (unfortunately) constrained to using JAXWS-RI by my gov't client. Does anyone have any examples/documentation of doing this from JAXWS-RI? I need to ultimately generate a SOAP header that looks something like the one below - this is a sample soap:header from a .NET client written by the service's authors.   • Howto: Configure Spring-WS to publish WSDL files with a '?WSDL' style URL?

    I am trying to configure web service proxying using Mule ESB. I am attempting to do this using Mule's WSProxyService, but after stepping through the corresponding code (with the debugger), it is clear that this class replaces endpoint addresses. The problem is Spring-WS WSDL addresses are of the style http://xxxx/xxxx.wsdl, but WSProxyService expects http://xxxx/xxxx?wsdl or http://xxxx/xxxx&wsdl. It replaces the remote endpoint addresses with the local WSDL address; it cuts the remote WSDL address at the question mark i.e. '?WSDL' is intended to be chopped off, so to create the search term. But because of Spring-WS, this does not work. To break it down: WSProxyService ends up trying to use http://xxxx/xxxx.wsdl to replace http://xxxx/xxxx with http://yyyy/yyyy which fails... leading to actual web service call going direct and not through the proxy. Has anyone ever noticed/solved this problem?? Cheers, Darren

  • Problem with Google App Engine Appstats

    I'm having an issue getting Appstats to work correctly. Using /appstats or /appstats/stats ends up in an infinite loop that keeps redirecting back to /appstats/stats. This results in a 404 error saying the page isn't redirecting properly. Any idea what the issue is? Here are the relevant lines in my appengine-web.xml. Also additional xmlns="" in the Order header (for some reason). I couldn't figure out putting the ns: prefix for the rest of the elements (like Errors and List). First of all, why would I need to put the prefix for the children if the parent already has it. Doesn't the parent namespace dictate the children nodes/attribute namespaces? Secondly, I want to add the prefixes in the above XML as expected, how can I do that with XSL?

  • CSS: series of floated elements without wrapping but rather scrolling horizontally

    I'm working on a album viewer. At the top I want a horizontal container of all the image thumbnails. Right now all the thumbnails are wrapped in a div with float:left. I'm trying to figure out how to keep these thumbnails from wrapping to the next line when there are too many, but rather stay all in one horizontal row and use the scrollbar.   • Copied Netbeans IDE Maven Web project failes to compile

    If I am going to make serious changes to my project I like to make a copy (right click project and select copy). I have created copies of my projects many times (maven web applications included) without issue. Now all I do is copy the project making no changes, leaving the copy settings on default (project name etc) and then try to run it and spring decides to take issue with it. Again I try running the original and it works. I deleted the faulty copy, restarted and tried again and still it does not work.     I'm trying to deploy a site generated with Jekyll and would like to keep the site in its own subfolder on my server to keep everything more organized. Essentially, I'd like to use the contents of /jekyll as the root unless a file similarly named exists in the actual web root. So something like /jekyll/sample-page/ would show as http://www.example.com/sample-page/, while something like /other-folder/ would display as http://www.example.com/other-folder. My test server runs Apache 2.2 and the following .htaccess (adapted from http://gist.github.com/97822) works flawlessly: RewriteEngine On # Map http://www.example.com to /jekyll. RewriteRule ^$ /jekyll/ [L] # Map http://www.example.com/x to /jekyll/x unless there is a x in the web root. Edit: After a ton of research into Apache 1.3, I've found that this problem is essentially a combination of two different issues listed at the Apache 1.3 URL Rewriting Guide. I have a (partially) moved DocumentRoot, which in theory would be taken care of with something like this: RewriteRule ^/$ /e/www/ [R] I also have the infamous "Trailing Slash Problem," which is solved by setting the RewriteBase (as was suggested in one of the responses below): RewriteBase /~quux/ RewriteRule ^foo$ foo/ [R] The problem is combining the two. The issue: I am using the following mobile url to allow users to log in using the mobile devices: http://m.facebook.com/tos.php?api_key=APIKEY&v=1.0&next=http%3A%2F%2Ftweelay.net%2Fm.php&cancel=http%3A%2F%2Ftweelay.net%2Fm.php APIKEY being my app's actual Facebook API key. In the url I am telling Facebook to redirect the user back to http://tweelay.net/m.php when the user signs in or clicks cancel on the log in screen. I am pulling my hair trying to figure out why it keeps sending the user to http://m.tweelay.net/m.php which is currently an invalid end point. I have gone through all of my app's settings on Facebook and I cant find any that reference http://m.tweelay.net and going through all of my source code I cant find any that reference the m. sub-domain either.

    I want to match a root Element “FOO” and perform the transformation (add a version attribute) to it leaving the rest as it is. It doesn't even detect the element.   • Whats happening to my HTML?

    I am making changes to my website, and I just noticed that things look different. In IE, the content doesnt center, theres a margin on my content, and the font looks bigger in chrome.. I ran it through Yahoo's HTML validator and the error I get is line 1 - Error: character "" not allowed in prolog. I believe that there may be some sort of whitespace being sent before the DOC TYPE, but I cant seem to fix it. The HTML looks fine in my text editor (Notepad++) so I dont know what the problem is. Im using a strict DOC Type. Everything was fine before I made any changes, but I cant pinpoint what caused the change. If it helps, I'm using a Framework (Kohana). My initial thought was that something was being sent to the browser by an echo or something, but I couldnt find any echo statements. I dont know what could be causing this...     I have auto registration working with authlogic using gaizka's version of authlogic_openid which I found on Github since pelle's original addition of the feature seemed to cause issues. http://github.com/gaizka/authlogic%5Fopenid http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1476953/using-authlogic-to-auto-create-users-bypassing-explicit-user-registeration This one works fine however when using the auto_register feature it ignores my options for authlogic such as retrieving the email from the openid provider... any ideas what I'm doing wrong?     I have a multiple language website, and I use a php get variable to set the cookie for the language setting. I have multiple subfolders (http://www.site.com/es and http://www.site.com/de) that each have a respective .htaccess file. When accessing these folders, the .htaccess file does this to "silently" redirect the user and add the appropriate php variable: ------- Options +FollowSymlinks RewriteEngine on RewriteOptions MaxRedirects=10 rewriterule ^http://www.site.com/es/$ http://www.site.com/?l=es [P,R=301] rewriterule ^(.*)$ http://www.site.com/$1?l=es [P,R=301] ------- When someone accesses the root directory: http://www.site.com, I want to add a ?l=en suffix "silently" to the url.     Hi All, If, as here at work, we have test, staging and production environments, such as: http://test.my-happy-work.com http://staging.my-happy-work.com http://www.my-happy-work.com I am writing some javascript that will redirect the browser to a url such as: http://[environment].my-happy-work.com/my-happy-video I need to be able to determine the current environment that we are in. There is the possibility that I will currently be at a url such as: http://[environment].my-happy-work.com/my-happy-path/my-happy-resource I want to be able to grab the window.location but strip it of everything but: http://[environment].my-happy-work.com And then append to that string + "/" + "my-happy-video". I am not skilled with regex, but I suppose there would be a way to parse the window.location up to the ".com" Thoughts? Thanks!

  • Node.js vs PHP processing speed

    I've been looking into node.js recently and wanted to see a true comparison of processing speed for PHP vs Node.js. In most of the comparisons I had seen, Node trounced Apache/PHP set ups handily. However all of the tests were small 'hello worlds' that would not accurately reflect any webpage's markup. So I decided to create a basic HTML page with 10,000 hello world paragraph elements. In these tests Node with Cluster was beaten to a pulp by PHP on Nginx utilizing PHP-FPM. So I'm curious if I am misusing Node somehow or if Node is really just this bad at processing power. Note that my results were equivalent outputting "Hello world\n" with text/plain as the HTML, but I only included the HTML as it's closer to the use case I was investigating. I certainly think Node has a real niche that it could fit well, however with these test results (which I really hope I made a mistake with - as I like the idea of Node) lead me to believe that it is a horrible choice for even a modest processing load when compared to PHP (let alone JVM or various other fast solutions). As a final note, I also tried running an Apache Bench test against node with $ ab -n 20 -c 20 http://speedtest.dev/ and consistently received a total test time of greater than 0.900 seconds.
