  • FBML + jquery Validation + Rails

    Hi all, In my local machine i have a scaffold that uses Jquery Validation plugin for the field's validation. Now i want to add that to a fbml facebook application, but i'm haven't been able to load the jquery javascript and the jquery Validation plugin into the app, does anybody now how to do that? or maybe someone could suggest me a better way of doing validation inside a facebook application.   • globalize2 with xml/json support

    I'm implementing a distributed application, server with rails and mobile clients in objective c (iPhone). To enable internationalization, I use the rails plugin 'globalize2' by joshmh. However, it turned out that this plugin does not translate attributes when calling to_xml or to_json on an ActiveRecord. Does anyone know of a workaround / patch? Do you have any ideas how to fix this, where to alter globalize2? Using: Rails 2.3.5 globalize2: commit from 2010-01-11

    I have created NPAPI plugin, which is workig fine on linux where I have created the .so file but when I deployed this plugin on our production device where we have linux environment with limited resources(due to performance constraints) , following error is thrown '/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/npPluginTest.so' is not an ELF executable for sh FYI:so file created on 32bit linux box. how can I resolve this issue?

There are some sites that say I need a plugin, and others that suggest that it's already possible. Trying those suggestions give me jquery errors in the jquery.js file, so I'm wondering, do I need a plugin or not? Now, my task is when any of the image is selected i can drag to either side. i.e I can select the image and drag to any direction within that image container. If any one can help me on this??? Does it exist a Grunt plugin that goes through the bower.json file and replaces this with a CDN-link from the most popular ones (and if a component is present in more than one CDN, then pick one based on rank-setting or random or something).

    What are some non commercial deployment tools that allows a developer to speficy: a branch/tag, a revision and a target machine to deploy code to? I was wondering if there's a ccnet plugin of some sort that would allow the above to be specified. I know this could be done with a NAnt deploy script. However considering we're mostly using gui tools for feedback, plus the tortoise svn repository browser, it be cool to lear if there's an GUI simple GUI tool/plugin cheers.

Update: using another computer, it redirects me to /asset/grails_logo.png

  • using 2 different jquery releases on the same page

    I am using this jquery plugin for a carousel controller http://sorgalla.com/projects/jcarousel/, it is based on jquery release 1.2.1 I also need to have tabs on the page, but when including the current jquery release in the page, the carousel stops working. Is there a way to have them both live together on the same page, or is there a way to have tabs work under realease 1.2.1? I rather not rebuild the carousel on another plugin, since this one is already skinned and works just as needed.
