    Hi, I have a form with 2 textareas; the first one allows user to send HTML Code, the second allows to send CSS Code. I have to verify with a PHP function, if the language is correct. If the language is correct, for security, i have to check that there is not PHP code or SQL Injection or whatever. What do you think ? Is there a way to do that ? Where can I find this kind of function ? Is "HTML Purifier" http://htmlpurifier.org/ a good solution ?

  • Stopping an if clause along with the whole PHP script, but not HTML

    Hello there, I've been having this problem for around an hour, and have searched the internet for answers. I've checked the PHP documentation, looked around, Googled, nothing. Anyways, my problem is that after I try to validate something (and it's wrong), if I use exit; it will also stop the HTML after. Here's what I'm talking about: if ($_POST['exampleEmail'] == "") { echo "Please enter an e-mail."; //Now I want only the PHP script to stop, however... exit; //If I use exit, then the HTML after this script (footer) doesn't show. } If anyone can help, please do. I've tried using break, but to no avail, since it's only for loops and switches. If there is a better/more correct (or simply correct if this is the wrong way), please share. I've had this problem in the past, and I just used exit then. Thanks.

  • All PHP files getting hacked

    Hey All, Like always, just want to say thank you for all of the help and input in advance. I have a particular site that I am the web developer for and am running into a unique problem. It seems that somehow something is getting into every single PHP file on my site and adding some malware code. I have deleted the code from every page multiple times and changed FTP and DB passwords, but to no avail. The code that is added looks like this - eval(base64_decode(string)) - which the string is 3024 characters. Not sure if anyone else has ran into this problem or if any one has ideas on how I can secure my php code up. Thanks again.

    Hi, I have this PHP piece of code that gets $_GET['id'] (a number) and do some stuff with this. When its finished I need to increase that number ($_GET['id']) and redirect to the same page but with the new number (also using $_GET['id']). I am doing something like this: $ID = $_GET['id']; // Some stuff here // and then: $newID = $ID++; header('Location: http://localhost/something/something.php?id='.$newID); exit; The problem here is that the browser stop me from doing it and I get this error from the browser (Firefox) : "The page isn't redirecting properly. Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete." Some help here please!

    I have the following structure: -uploadpage.html -index.php -resources -jquery.1.4.2.min.js On my index.php, I get the contents then output uploadpage.html through this code: $output = file_get_contents("uploadpage.html"); echo $output; My upload.html has the javascript at the bottom: <script type="text/javscript" src="./resources/jquery-1.4.2.min.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript"> $(document).ready( function() { callSomething(); } ); function callSomething() {return true;} </script> However this results in an error "$ is not defined" which means that the jquery js file is not loaded. Any ideas?

    Hi everybody, in a PHP program, I sequentially read a bunch of files (with file_get_contents), gzdecode them, json_decode the result, analyze the contents, throw the most of it away, and store about 1% in an array. Unfortunately, with each iteration (I traverse over an array containing the filenames), there seems to be some memory lost (according to memory_get_peak_usage, about 2-10 MB each time). I have double- and triplechecked my code, I am not storing unneded data in the loop (and the needed data hardly exceeds about 10MB overall), but I am frequently rewriting (actually, strings in an array). Apparently, PHP does not free the memory correctly, thus using more and more RAM until it hits the limit. Is there any way to do a forced garbage collection? Or, at least, to find out where the memory is used? Thanks in advance, Dmitri

    Hello, I have been searching and cant find a consistent solution to my problem : I want to encrypt something in C# and decrypt it in PHP but also be able to encrypt in PHP and decrypt in C#, using the same key on both ends. All the solutions I found dont seem to work both ways, most of them only work on one language and then fail on the other, either by decrypting wrong or by blowing up the offsets. I would like to use TripleDES but it isnt a requirement, just want something relatively strong for plain text communication (will either use JSON or just plain key-value pairs for complex stuff).     I have a table generated from some PHP code that lists a SMALL amount of important information for employees. I want to make it so each row, or at least one element in each row can be clicked on so the user will be redirected to ALL of the information (pulled from MySQL database) related to the employee who was clicked on. I am not sure how would be the best way to go about this, but I am open to suggestions. I would like to stick to PHP and/or JavaScript.
