    Hi friends, I'm a newbie drupal... I'm working on my first Drupal project. I need to make an events page for some conferences. I create event content type, and creating fields like date-place-title-etc with CCK. There are also speakers, can be up to 20. each speaker has photo-namesurname-position. same speaker can be added to more than 1 event. So it is silly to create 60 fields (photo-name-position) for 20 speakers at event adding page. and expecting admin to fill all for an event adding action. there must be a way to create speakers additionally, and listing them at event adding page with checkboxes. and admin just select the speakers from the list, can be 1 or 20 speaker. how can create such thing? in what type should I create these speakers, so i can list them in event adding page for admin to select as many as he wants. Appreciate helps so much!! thanks a lot!

    There's a bunch of special macros that MFC uses when creating dialogs, and in my quick tests I'm getting weird errors trying to compile a template dialog class. Is this likely to be a big pain to achieve? Note my code is all in one file, since C++ templates don't like .h/.cpp like normal.

    I am trying to fetch an image from an IP camera using HTTP. The camera requires HTTP basic authentication, so I have to add the corresponding request header: URL url = new URL("http://myipcam/snapshot.jpg"); URLConnection uc = url.openConnection(); uc.setRequestProperty("Authorization", "Basic " + new String(Base64.encode("user:pass".getBytes()))); // outputs "null" System.out.println(uc.getRequestProperty("Authorization")); I am later passing the url object to ImageIO.read(), and, as you can guess, I am getting an HTTP 401 Unauthorized, although user and pass are correct. What am I doing wrong? I've also tried new URL("http://user:pass@myipcam/snapshot.jpg"), but that doesn't work either.

    I see the following constructs: new X will free the memory if X constructor throws. operator new() can be overloaded. The canonical definition of an operator new overload is void *operator new(heap h) and the corrisponding operator delete. The most common operator new overload is pacement new, which is void *operator new(void *p) { return p; } You almost always cannot call delete on the pointer given to placement new. This leads to a single question. How is memory cleaned up when X constructor throws and an overloaded new is used?

This eclipse based application has an executable and various configuration/plugin/features files. I have done the tutorials about swtbot and I have successfully completed them but they all just create a template application to test on. Is this even possible? What I wish to accomplish is something similar to Amazon's Deal of the Day widget. Except, in my case, it will simply be a title and a corresponding link. My presumption is that I will set up a database and (using php or something similar) have the information drawn from the database and displayed in my WP sidebar. The website which is hosted on a different server explains the usage of the app, shows a tour, plans, contains a blog on related stuff and so on. I want to route to my_domain/app and the app should respond to that url. The custom_domain add-on doesnt allow to enter directories. How can I configure that or how would you realize that scenario?
