• Can you get the size of the Flash object in Actionscript?

  I'm working with a Flash movie and I'm trying to get the size of the player itself (i.e. the height and width Flash has to work with from the object/embed tag). As far as I can tell, Flash doesn't make this available to ActionScript. I'm able to use this.root.loaderInfo.width and this.root.loaderInfo.height to get the "intended" size of the flash movie (what's specified on export), but if the dimensions are different on the page, this isn't helpful.

  I need to save XML-attribute value in a database, using information if checkbox is checked. If checkbox is checked, the attribute value is "TRUE", otherwise it's false. When I use foreach statement, the last enumerated value is usually assigned. • Friendly way to parse XDocument

  I have a class that various different XML schemes are created from. I create the various dynamic XDocuments via one (Very long) statement using conditional operators for optional elements and attributes. I now need to convert the XDocuments back to the class but as they are coming from different schemes many elements and sub elements may be optional. The only way I know of doing this is to use a lot of if statements. This approach doesn't seem very LINQ and uses a great deal more code than when I create the XDocument so I wondered if there is a better way to do this?   hi all, I found this structure called OBJECT_ATTRIBUTE in one of the nt dll functions..I was curious to know about that structure and I went through its documentation(msdn)...In the OBJECT_ATTRIBUTE structure there is a parameter called PUNICODE_STRING objectName...As per the msdn documentation..it says that the objectName "the name of the object for which a handle is to be opened" which is actually a name or some root directory,am confused with this.Can anybody explain this term "name of the object"(root directory).what it represents.

Unfortunately, for some reason, I cannot execute any files on the drive, even after following the answer here (I was able to mount the volume just fine, but the error persists). How can I fix this?
