• apache mod_rewrite regex problem with multiple parameter

  Regular expressions have always been my pet peeves. Every time I think that I finally got it I have a new problem ! I want to catch url like this : http://www.mydomain.com/boutique/blabla-1/bla-bla2/99/104 http://www.mydomain.com/boutique/blabla1/99 and eventually : http://www.mydomain.com/boutique/blabla-1/bla-bla2/product1/99/104/55/ after a lot of tries and errors I came up with this which seems to work with http://www.gskinner.com/RegExr/ but not in apache ^.*/boutique/([a-zA-Z-]*)(/?[a-zA-Z-]*)/?([0-9]*)/?([0-9]*)/?$ boutique.php?c1=$3&c2=$4 (I was only working with the first two url so far) MY apache rewrite log debug files are helpless : pass through /Users/iko/Sites/mysite/boutique.php I'm only interrested in getting the ids.   Currently all web apps are deployed using seperate config files: <!-- <import bean.... production/> --> <import bean... development/> This has disadvantages, even if you only need to swap out one config file, that I'm sure everyone is familiar with (wondering what just deployed without searching through XML is one of them) I want to add Logging to my application that basically says 'RUNNING IN PRODUCTION MODE', with a description of the services deployed and what mode they are working in. RUNNING IN PRODUCTION MODE Client Service - Production Messaging Service - Local and so on... Is this possible in Spring using a conventional deployment (putting a war on a server)? What other things do people do to manage deployments and software configurations? If not, what other ways could you achieve something similar?

  I'm creating a building game in JavaScript and PHP that involves a grid. Each square in the grid is a div, with an own onmouseover and onmousedown function: for(x=0; x < width; x++) { for(y=0; y < height; y++) { var div = document.createElement("div"); //... div.onmouseclick = function() {blockClick(x, y)} div.onmouseover = function() {blockMouseover(x, y)} game.appendChild(div); } } But, all of the squares seem to have the x and y of the last square that was added. I can sort of see why this is happening - it is making a pointer to x and y instead of cloning the variables - but how could I fix it? I even tried for(x=0; x < width; x++) { for(y=0; y < height; y++) { var div = document.createElement("div"); var myX = x; var myY = y; div.onmouseclick = function() {blockClick(myX, myY)} div.onmouseover = function() {blockMouseover(myX, myY)} game.appendChild(div); } } with the same result.   I've search control with which I'm trying to implement search as user types something. I'm using Linq to SQL to fire queries against the database. Though it works fine usually, when user types the queries really fast some random SqlException is thrown. • Apache and multiple tomcats proxy

  I have 1 apache server and two tomcat servers with two different applications. I want to use the apache as a proxy so that the user can access the application from the same url using different paths. e.g.: localhost/app1 --> localhost:8080/app1 localhost/app2 --> localhost:8181/app2 I tried all 3 mod proxy of apache (mod_jk, mod_proxy_http and mod_proxy_ajp) but the first application is working, whilst the second is not accessible. This is the apache configuration I'm using: ProxyPassMatch ^(/.*\.gif)$ ! ProxyPassMatch ^(/.*\.css)$ ! ProxyPassMatch ^(/.*\.png)$ ! ProxyPassMatch ^(/.*\.js)$ ! ProxyPassMatch ^(/.*\.jpeg)$ ! ProxyPassMatch ^(/.*\.jpg)$ ! ProxyRequests Off ProxyPass /app1 ajp://localhost:8009/ ProxyPassReverse /app1 ajp://localhost:8009/ ProxyPass /app2 ajp://localhost:8909/ ProxyPassReverse /app2 ajp://localhost:8909/ With the above, I manage to view the tomcat root application using localhost/app1, but I get "Service Temporarily Unavailable" (apache error) when accessing app2. I need to keep the tomcat servers separate because I need to restart one of the applications often and it is not an option to save both apps on the same tomcat.   I have created two Spring AOP pointcuts that are completely separate and will be woven in for different parts of the system. The pointcuts are used in two different around advices, these around-advices will point to the same Java method. How the xml-file looks: <aop:config> <aop:pointcut expression="execution(......)" id="pointcutOne" /> <aop:pointcut expression="execution(.....)" id="pointcurTwo" /> <aop:aspect id="..." ref="springBean"> <aop:around pointcut-ref="pointcutOne" method="commonMethod" /> <aop:aroung pointcut-ref="pointcutTwo" method="commonMethod" /> </aop:aspect> </aop:config> The problem is that only the last pointcut works (if I change the order "pointcutOne" works because it is last). I have gotten it to work by creating one big pointcut, but I would like to have them separate. Any suggestions to why only one of the pointcuts works at a time?

• PHP: passing GET between multiple pages

  I'm building a set of pages where I have a number of GET variables and it is often valuable to keep passing it along to the next page. This leads to ugly code where I have to have "if this $_GET variable is set, dynamically add it to this hyperlink". This is, in many senses, not a problem; but I had the thought "there must be a better way to do this", I mean after all basically all I want is to take the '?' and everything after it and append it to the links on that page, it would seem this should be rather simple (or at least possible to do in a for loop). I tried google searching but couldn't find anything, so I figured I'd see if any of you happen to know. Why not use SESSION? Because these pages need to be capable of being bookmarked. Thank you.

  I have a model called HeroStatus with the following attributes: id user_id recordable_type hero_type (can be NULL!) recordable_id created_at There are over 100 hero_statuses, and a user can have many hero_statuses, but can't have the same hero_status more than once. A user's hero_status is uniquely identified by the combination of recordable_type + hero_type + recordable_id. What I'm trying to say essentially is that there can't be a duplicate hero_status for a specific user. Unfortunately, I didn't have a validation in place to assure this, so I got some duplicate hero_statuses for users after I made some code changes. For example: user_id = 18 recordable_type = 'Evil' hero_type = 'Halitosis' recordable_id = 1 created_at = '2010-05-03 18:30:30' user_id = 18 recordable_type = 'Evil' hero_type = 'Halitosis' recordable_id = 1 created_at = '2009-03-03 15:30:00' user_id = 18 recordable_type = 'Good' hero_type = 'Hugs' recordable_id = 1 created_at = '2009-02-03 12:30:00' user_id = 18 recordable_type = 'Good' hero_type = NULL recordable_id = 2 created_at = '2009-012-03 08:30:00' (Last two are not a dups obviously. First two are.) So what I want to do is get rid of the duplicate hero_status. Which one? The one with the most-recent date. I have three questions: How do I remove the duplicates using a SQL-only approach? How do I remove the duplicates using a pure Ruby solution? Something similar to this: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2790004/removing-duplicate-objects. How do I put a validation in place to prevent duplicate entries in the future?

  Hope a few people in here are familiar with JCAPS. Coming from pure j2ee world, it is difficult to digest the deployment model that JCPAS offers. While creating deployment profile, we need to map the resources (such as jdbc, webservice connector) to external systems. External systems are predefined with the target server ip, port, db name, credentials etc(in case of jdbc). So the problem is an EAR built for test environment can not be deployed to production environment. In simpler applications we could store database/credentials etc on to property files and hence EAR built for UAT could be deployed to Production with out any change. Is there a similar strategy available for JCAPS by which EARs built against an environment can be promoted to another seamlessly?

• Can't check more than one RadioButton across multiple items in a Treeview

  I’m using a TreeView control to present a list of Questions. Using the Prism.DataTemplateSelector, I'm loading a View (.xaml file) that represents a single Question into each node in the TreeView. In the View for that question is a ListBox containing RadioButtons (one for each item in a Picklist object that the ListBox is bound to). The radio buttons work as expected for the question, but when I check a RadioButton on another node/question in the TreeView, the check for the button in the Question I was editing before disappears. In other words, I'm only able to check one RadioButton in the whole list of Questions/Items bound to the containing TreeView. How do I group the RadioButtons in the ListBox to the scope of the single question instead of all the questions in the TreeView.

The problem is: how does the GIL work in this case? Suppose I have a queue of numbers to be processed, and some workers (threading.Thread) working in parallel, each of them calling c_module.f(number) where number is taken from a queue. The difference with the usual case, when GIL lock the interpreter, is that now you don't need the interpreter to evaluate c_module.f because it is compiled. So the question is: in this case the processing is really parallel?

My problem: origin server A hosts domains 1, 2, and 3 origin server B hosts domains 4 and 5. how can I set up squid so that it will cache all vhosts for both servers? my current config: cache_peer serverA parent 80 0 round-robin no-query originserver login=PASS If I add a second line: cache_peer serverB parent 80 0 round-robin no-query originserver login=PASS it only caches domains on serverB, requests for serverA content generate 404 errors. I don't use squid a whole lot, and all help is appreciated. thanks.

This is my structure Sites   /project1   /project2   /project3 I want the tool to do a "git status" in Sites/project1, Sites/project2, Sites/project3 and let me know if Sites/project2 and Sites/project3 have changes or new files and needs to be Staged/committed The closest script I found that might be hackable is here: http://gist.github.com/371828 but even that script wouldn't run and I get an error: "syntax error near unexpected token `do" which might have been written for *nix.

If there more columns report expands horizontally across mutiple pages. If i give Print option available in the toolbar of the report viewer. The columns are moved to second page which is correct but the row headers (product 1, product 2) should not be repeated in the second page.In the second page report should have all details except the product information. I am also interested to know whether it is the functionality of this version report viewer.

  I have a parent contentcontrol which displays data via a datatemplate. The datatemplate contains a stackpanel with several usercontols of the same type. I like to set the property only once on the parent control, it must set the value of the property on all the subcontrols. But if there is a way to do it on the stackpanel it's also OK. The template can be changed at runtime and the values need also to be propagated to the new template. My current solution is to implement the property on both parent and subcontrol and use code to propagate the value from the parent to all the subcontrols. My question is: is there a better or other ways of doing this?

  I have a dimension (SiteItem) has two important facts: perUserClicks perBrowserClicks however, within this dimension, I have groups of dimensions based on an attribute column (let's call the groups AboveFoldItems, LeftNavItems, OnTheFlyItems, etc.) each have more facts that are specific to that group: AboveFoldItems: eyeTime, loadTime LeftNavItems: mouseOverTime OnTheFlyItems: doesn't have any extra, but may in the future Is the following fact table schema ok? DateKey SessionKey SiteItemKey perUserClicks perBrowserClicks eyeTime loadTime mouseOverTime It seems a little wasteful since only some columns pertain to some dimension keys (the irrelevant facts are left NULL). But... this seems like it would be a common problem, so there should be a common solution for this, right?

• Multiple developers on a Titanium project

  I'm making an iPhone app with Appcelerator Titanium and I want to share the source code with a few more programmers. I will use a SCM repository which at some point might be open to the general public. Now my question is, are there any files which I should not commit to the repository? In project root I can tell that tiapp.xml and mainfest are telling the app GUID, is there any reason for me to keep that private? (this value is also shown many places in the build/ folder) I've added everything in the Resources/ folder. If I skip the build/iphone/build/ folder, will developers still be able to build the project? Side question - When another programmer downloads this code, it seems to me that (s)he has to have the same directory structure as I do? Any workarounds for this?
