    Hi to all, if I have a string like 'foo(bar)', with the following code i can almost parse it the way i want: $results = array(); preg_match( "/\w*(?=(\(.*\))?)/", 'foo(bar)', &$results ); print_r($results); /* Array ( [0] => foo [1] => (bar) ) */ How can I modify the regex to have bar instead of (bar)?   • How can I reuse a base class function in a derived class

    Let's say we have these four classes: BinaryTree, SplayTree (which is a sub-class of BinaryTree), BinaryNode and SplayNode (which is a sub-class of BinaryNode). In class BinaryTree I have 2 Find functions, like this bool Find(const T &) const; virtual Node<T> * Find(const T &, Node<T> *) const; and in SplayTree I would like to reuse the second one, because it works in the same way (for example) as in SplayTree, the only thing different is the return type, which is SplayNode. I thought it might be enough if I use this line in SplayTree.cpp using BinaryTree::Find; but it isn't. So, how can I do this?

    Hi, I need to parse a string like this: a[metadata][][name]=dont|do|this&a[name]=Hello World&a[metadata][][value]=i|really|mean it CGI::parse gives me this: {"a[name]"=["Hello World"], "a[metadata][][name]"=["dont|do|this"], "a[metadata][][value]"=["i|really|mean it"]} I would like something like what PHP does with parse_str, which when given the same string does this: Array ( [a] => Array ( [metadata] => Array ( [0] => Array ( [name] => dont|do|this ) [1] => Array ( [value] => i|really|mean it ) ) [name] => Hello World )) Any help would be awesome.   • Do not fire 'zoom_changed' event when calling fitBounds function on map

    Is there a way to prevent the zoom_change event from being triggered if it occurs due to fitBounds() ? I am having an issue where I need to do a search on the server from client when there is a zoom change to map but every time I call fitBounds() it causes zoom_change to trigger which causes the client to do another search on the server. I am only interested in zoom_change done by users and not programmatically using fitBounds.

  • MSVC++ 6.0: Fatal error C1509 "Too many exception handler states in function"

    I'm working on a project that uses a lot of generated files for a GUI. After some recent updates, I get this error. If I remove some controls (the new ones or some old ones, doesn't seem to matter which), the error goes away. I've temporarily worked around the problem, but I'd like a more permanent solution. I've seen mentioned on the web that there's a fix for this in VS.Net 2003, but I can't find anything for 6.0. Does anyone know of a hotfix or service pack that fixes this?

    I have an SSAS cube containing customers and their purchased memberships (let's say magazines). I want to calculate the retention. I.e. how many customers remain a customer. To do this I specify a set (males, 30yrs, 1 january 2011). I want to see if this set - identified by a customer number - is still present in the following months. I named my set MySet2. What I try to do is: sum(measures.amount, [membership].[name].&[X], MySet2, [date].[date].currentmember) However, the result is incorrect. The number is far to low. I suspect it still tries to account for all the males of 30 years old, but after a year they're not 30 anymore. What am I missing? I looked at scope and filter, but I'm not sure how to apply it.

    Hello. I am creating a site that requires a very small postcode checker. I have approx 8 postcode prefix's, HX, HD, BD, LS etc in an array. I also have a simple input field and submit btn. When the user types in a postcode for example HX5 9DU I want Jquery to check the array, if there is match for the first 2/3 letters I want a div to fade in displaying a message. How would I do this?     I'm a bit weak on how some delegates behave, such as passing a method as the parameter to be invoked. While trying to do some NUnit test scripts, I have something that I need to run many test with. Each of these tests requires a GUI created and thus the need for an STA thread. Now the next step. I now have a different set of tests that ALSO require an STA thread. However, each "thing" I need to do requires two parameters... both strings (for this case). How do I go about declaring proper delegate so I can pass in the method I need to invoke, AND the two string parameters in one shot... I may have 20+ tests to run with in this pattern and may have future of other similar tests with different parameter counts and types of parameters too. Thanks.
