[self doSomething:foo]; // foo retun 0x0!!! } @end why foo return nil??? It should be initialized by cFuncCall!

  • Recursion function not working properly

    I'm having quite a hard time figuring out what's going wrong here: class iterate(): def init(self): self.length=1 def iterated(self, n): if n==1: return self.length elif n%2==0: self.length+=1 self.iterated(n/2) elif n!=1: self.length+=1 self.iterated(3*n+1) For example, x=iterate() x.iterated(5) outputs None. It should output 6 because the length would look like this: 5 -- 16 -- 8 -- 4 -- 2 -- 1 After doing some debugging, I see that the self.length is returned properly but something goes wrong in the recursion. I'm not really sure. Thanks for any help.

  • arg function not using URL alias

    I am running Drupal 6, and I'm using PHP for block visibility. <?php $city = arg(0); $page = arg(1); if ($city == 'tampa' && $page != 'art'){ return 'TRUE'; } else{ return FALSE; } ?> I was having trouble with this block of code, so I decided to insert: <?php print arg(0).arg(1); ?> in my page.tpl.php. What I found was that on some of my pages, arg(0) was showing 'node' when the URL is actually 'tampa', and of course, arg(1) is showing the node ID. However, on other pages, such as my calendar, arg(0) is actually showing 'tampa' instead of 'node'. I have used this a lot in the past, and have never had this problem. Is there a reason why Drupal is disregarding my aliases on certain pages? If so, how can I fix it?

  • Have ASP page call save function anytime the user tries to navigate away from page

    What I have is an input page with a bunch of dynamically created textboxes for the user to input data. The textboxes are dynamically created because the number that are needed are not known until the user selects some options on the page. So what I need to have happen is if the user tries to either A) navigate away from the page or B) select different options bringing up new textboxes. Anything the user may have typed into the textboxes needs to automatically be saved to the database. Like they clicked on the save button on the page. This doesn't sound like a vary smart way to do things or even an easy way to do things but this is the requirement I have been given. No message just save to the database. I have looked into things like onbeforepageunload javascript but that mostly tries to stop the user from navigating away I can't call any code behind code from it. Any help is appreciated. Note : The number of the texboxes with data can be any where between 20 and 500. Yes very crazy but not my idea.

Can this be shortened or written in more elegant way ? How I can halt the processing in any of the individual element is not a 2-list? At the moment execution proceed to next member and replacing current member with "List is not a 2-List" if current member is not a 2-list.

    I would like to get the smallest element from a vector. For this I use combine the reduce and min functions. However, when providing my own implementation of min I get unexpected results: user=> (reduce (fn [x y] (< x y) x y) [1 2 3 2 1 0 1 2]) 2 user=> (reduce min [1 2 3 2 1 0 1 2 3]) 0 The reduce with standard min returns 0 as expected. However, when I provide my own implementation it returns 2. What am I doing wrong?

Say I have the following code: private Bitmap source = new Bitmap (some_stream); Bitmap bmp = new Bitmap(100,100); Rectangle newRect = new Rectangle(0, 0, bmp.Width, bmp.Height); Rectangle toZoom= new Rectangle(0, 0, 10, 10); Graphics g = Graphics.FromImage(bmp); g.DrawImage(source, newRect, toZoom, GraphicsUnit.Pixel); My goal is to zoom-in the 10x10 pixels on the top left corner of the source picture. After I created the graphics object g and called DrawImage: the requested rectangle (toZoom) will be copied to bmp, or will it be displayed on the screen? I am a bit confused, can somebody please clarify?

    I am trying to give a LocationClient a two-minute period to connect before calling getLastLocation on it. Initially I implemented this with a Timer (and TimerTask), but because Timers do not work in sleepmode, I would like to translate it to an AlarmManager. However, I am a bit confused as to how to do this, considering an AlarmManager calls another class, whereas I want to remain in the same class and simply delay for a two-minute period. This is how it looks with a Timer.     Hello, I wish to disable the href links on a UIWebView. First, I want the look of the link to change so the user doesn't think it is clickable. Second, I want the actual link to not be able to be tapped. I do not want to try webView:shouldStartLoadWithRequest:navigationType: since that not change the appearance of my links. I found this answer: Disabling visible links in UIWebView But the above hasn't worked for me. Yet I want to go a step further and be able to know if L2, or L3 executed the most. here it is obvious that L3 executed the most. yet is there some kind of profiler, emulator that can give me that data for an entire code?

I have the following to functions: void function_1(String ^str_1) { str_1 = gcnew String("Test"); } void function_2() { String ^str_2 = nullptr; function_1(str_2); } After calling function_1, str_2 is still equal to null, but what I want to achieve is that str_2 is equal to Test.     Can somebody explain to me why this works (in Python 2.5) : class Foo(object): pass class Bar(Foo): pass print(Foo.__subclasses__()) but this doesn't : class Foo(): pass class Bar(Foo): pass print(Foo.__subclasses__()) The latter returns "AttributeError: class Foo has no attribute '__subclasses__'" but i'm not sure why. I know this is related to old-style vs. new-style classes but i'm not clear on why that would make this functionality unavailable.

No errors either. Im using an ODBC connector. the variable passes in the db name, so that the table created would be users_TimeLogs if the database was called users for example. Am I doing something wrong?
