Hi Friends,
I have a website to be designed and have most of the material ready with me. I have shortlisted a designer who is ready to start. The question I have is, should I hand over the original .psd graphics files of logo etc to the designer. Is it ok to hand over the .psds or is there any risk in doing so that I should be aware of and cover with an agreement...
thanks in advance..

Hello,
I have two quick questions:
When do two file descriptors point to the same open file ?
When do two open files point to the same inode ?
Also, if you happen to have some good documentation with graphs explaining this, i'll be very grateful if you show me the link to it :)
Thanks!
I want to read MP3 files in C++ and I prefer to write my own code for this. Basically to learn how the filetype works. I want to read all the bits of hex data of a MP3 file and have my speakers play it. :) I have no idea where to start since I don't yet know how data is actually stored into a MP3 file.
Thanks for your help
I'm looking for a log viewer with similar capablilties as Chainsaw, in which I can tail Glassfish log files over for instance SSH/SCP. Does anyone know if such a tool exist?
How can I link to resources such as css and javascript files? My default project is using links like ../../Content/styles.css. How can I do something like ~/content/styles.css?
I am writing a C++/CLI assembly that uses some native DLLs.
During compile I can list them as "assembly link resource" so that the assembly is aware of these dependencies. When I use gacutils, it properly pulls all the native DLLs into GAC and they get properly loaded from GAC.
Now, some of these native DLLs are localized, and have MUI files. How do I get those to be automatically copied to GAC as well?
Hi. I'm currently exporting a database table with huge data (100000+ records) into an xml file using XmlTextWriter class and I'm writing directly to a file on the physical drive.
_XmlTextWriterObject = new XmlTextWriter(_xmlFilePath, null);
While my code runs ok, my question is that is it the best approach? Or should I write the whole xml in memory stream first and then write the xml document in physical file from memory stream? And what are the effects on memory/ performance in both cases?
How/where in the code does the nib file get related to its *.m and *.h files?
Specifically I'm talking about when you create a new Objective-C class, not using the initWithNibName method.
Can I get some recommendations for good log analysis software for Glassfish log files? Since it will not vary from application server to application server dramatically, I guess that there is a common solution for all servers.
Thanks
Hello All-
In C# how can I search through a Folder and its Subfolders to find files that match a string value. My string value could be "ABC123" and a matching file might be ABC123_200522.tif. Can an Array collect these? Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone knows how to or if it is possible to upload files to a sharepoint (v3/MOSS) document library over FTP. I know it is possible with webdav. If it is possible is this even supported by Microsoft?

Hi,
with a previous bash script I created a list of files:
data_1_box
data_2_box
...
data_10_box
...
data_99_box
the thing is that now I need to concatenate them, so I tried
ls -l data_*
but I get
.....
data_89_box
data_8_box
data_90_box
...
data_99_box
data_9_box
but I need to get in the sucession 1, 2, 3, 4, .. 9, ..., 89, 90, 91, ..., 99
Can it be done in bash?

Hi,
I have a C# Windows Service that needs to access to a Linux computer to get a list of files in a particular directory. What .NET 3.5SP1 method would one use that allows me to do this?
Thanks.
I wonder how to specify to the command "find" for searching files under current directory but skipping some specific sub-directories.
For example, I would like to skip sub-directories that match "./dir1/*.1/"
Thanks and regards!
I need to add two lines of html to every page on a large website. I will be using a regex to do it.
I would like to know the best tools to download all the html files from a website, then ftp upload them back up on Windows.
In Python, is there a mean to enforce the use of spaces or tabs indentation with a per file basis ?
Well, perhaps "enforce" is too strong, its more like "recommands".
I keep getting files with mixed indentation and this is annoying... (to say the least) Python itself can tell when there is a problem, but I am searching something to do that at the editor level, like it exists for the charset.
I need to write a single function which will take multiple eml files ( may be from a single filesystem folder ) and convert them to a single PST file.
Is it possible? if yes can someone provide a sample code?
I assume its possible because there are many commercial eml to pst converters out there doing this
I need to programatically encrypt a directory of files, like in a .zip or whatever. Preferably password protected obviously.
How can I accomplish this, and WHAT IS the BEST encryption way to do it, if applicable?
Programming language doesn't matter. I am dictioned in all syntax.
