    Hello, I'm trying to build a facebook like search for my software. I'd like to query the table customers. I've set up a FULLTEXT Index and tried the next query SELECT * FROM Customer where CONTAINS(*,'*ann*') The query does return all the customers named Ann, but it doesn't return all the customers name Anne. Is there a way to create prefix search on SQL SERVER 2008 using FTS? Thanks.

    Hello I'm creating an dynamic image, which creates headers on my page using PHPs GD-library. The problem is, that I need a line-wrapping system. It's not a problem itself, but first I need to get the width (in pixels) of current character. I'm pretty curious about this, is there any way? Or do I need to manually specify width of every abc?     Hello, I was using the spawn plugin (http://rubyforge.org/projects/spawn/) which worked excellent. However, I then moved to Mongo (using mongo_mapper) and Spawn no longer worked. Modifying the plugin is beyond the scope of my abilities. Is there a simple way to do spawning in Rails that would work with Mongo? It's not an often-run process so it doesn't have to be the most elegant solution in the world. Thanks!

    Hello there, I just created this thread to discuss with people who have adopted the smarty system, and how many time it took to you to understand it, because i just can't get the idea, instead of making every easier as everybody says i think it just make more complex to code. More than a problem with only smarty is with the whole MVC model, with CakePHP or KohanaPHP i experience the same problems, u need to do 3x lines of code and files for something that u can do with a few lines of simple php. Maybe u can tell how did u learned to code using MVC model :)
