  • How do i fire a click continuously while something is hovered?

    Im pretty sure this has a simple solution. I am using jCarousellite, and i want to change the behaviour of built in nav buttons to fire on hover over. $("#carousel").jCarouselLite({ vertical: true, btnNext: ".btn-down", btnPrev: ".btn-up", visible:6, circular: false }); $("#carousel .btn-down").hover(function() { $("#carousel .btn-down").click(); }); but it only fires once when mouseover, i need it to fire continueously while mouseover.

    For quickly mocking up UI, I'd like to be able to drag buttons onto a view in interface builder, then drag a connection from that button to the view that should appear when you click it. A subclass of UIButton is a little inconvenient to use in IB, so I'd prefer to add the behavior to UIButton itself. Unfortunately, it seems like outlets created in a category aren't visible in IB: @interface UIButton (myextensions) { IBOutlet UIView *outletDestination; } @end Can extra outlets be added this way?

    I would like to code a little web site that will contain several sections like "Home", "Gallery", "Contact Us", "FAQs", and so on. I thought to do this in one HTML by putting each section in a div and show only one div per time (using Javascript / jQuery), based on the chosen menu button. Alternatively, I could create a separate HTML page per section, and link these pages to the menu buttons. What are the advantages and disadvantages of these two methods ?

    I've figured out how to use QPainter to draw rectangles. Now I want to have a drawing area where if the user clicks, a 1x1 rectangle is drawn where the mouse pointer is. To accomplish this, I assume I need a transparent Qt widget that supports the clicked() signal. How do I make such a transparent widget? Or is there something else I can use? Perhaps I can only use the window's clicked() signal?

    Running through an iPhone SDK book and one of the examples has me creating a table and then later adding a UISegmentedControl to the table for sorting. I dutifully did this in IB, and it looks great: When I run it in the simulator or my phone, it's totally squished: The buttons work perfectly, it's just they are not sizing according to their content. I don't want picking-style interface of UIImagePickerController - it has unnecessary controls like "Use" and "Cancel" buttons and does not have full photo library viewing functionality - zooming and sliding between photos etc. My goal is to navigate user to the photo library for viewing photos (with full functionality of viewing photos) and - when user has finished - return to my app - just like standard Camera application does when you preview last-taken photos.
