  • Javascript Confirm Delete in One PHP File (on href)

    <p><span class="linky"><a href="deletephone.php?id=' . $row['id'] . '">Delete Phone</a></span></p><br /> I have the above code that I am using to link to a delete script. I want to somehow incorporate Javascript with a simple onclick confirmation. This way if they choose OK, I can run the code to delete the item from the database, but if they choose Cancel then I can cancel the operation and do nothing. I have tried a whole variety of functions with changing the window.location to the delete file, and trying to cancel the href= if they choose Cancel, but it always goes to the link regardless of what the user clicks. I would like to be able to keep the delete functions inside the same PHP file if possible, but this is not necessary at all. Thanks in advance! ASIDE: If there is a simple PHP way to check IF the alert was confirmed or denied, that could work also. Any way to check what the user chooses and then run my simple delete PHP command.

I am doing this from biopython using AlignIO object.     I'm working on my first Symfony project with Doctrine, and I've run into a hitch. I'm trying to express a game with two players. The relationship I want to have is PlayerOne and PlayerTwo each being keyed to an ID in the Users table. This is part of what I've got so far: Game: actAs: { Timestampable:- } columns: id: { type: integer, notnull: true, unique: true } startDate: { type: timestamp, notnull: true } playerOne: { type: integer, notnull: true } playerTwo: { type: integer, notnull: true } winner: { type: integer, notnull:true, default:0 } relations: User: { onUpdate: cascade, local: playerOne, foreign: id} User: { onUpdate: cascade, local: playerTwo, foreign: id} That doesn't work. It builds fine, but the SQL it generates only includes a constraint for playerTwo. I've tried a few other things: User: { onUpdate: cascade, local: [playerOne, playerTwo], foreign: id} Also: User: [{ onUpdate: cascade, local: playerOne, foreign: id}, { onUpdate: cascade, local: playerTwo, foreign: id}] Those last two throw errors when I try to build. Is there anyone out there who understands what I'm trying to do and can help me achieve it?

    I have a CDbActiveRecord setup and I have a instance of the CGridView class setup as a widget. Basically my end game is I need a table, but each row to contain the primary key of the row associated with the Active Record.     I have an Java method I want to call within my Jython servlet running on tomcat5. It looks like this: @SuppressWarnings("unchecked") public School loadByName(String name) { List<School> school; school = getHibernateTemplate().find("from " + getPersistentClass().getName() + " where name = ?", name); return uniqueResult(school); } I call it in Jython using: foobar = SchoolDAOHibernate.loadByName('Univeristy') It throws an error that says loadByName() expects 2 args; got 1. What other argument could it be looking for?

  • Lua: Why changing value on one variable changes value on an other one too?

    I think that running this code you will get excactly what I mean. I want to register 5 names to a register(people). I loop 5 times and in each loop I have a variable newPerson which is supposed to save all information about a person and then be added to the people register. In this example only the names of the people are being registered for simplicity. The problem is that in the end all people turn to have the same name: "Petra". I playied a bit with this but can't get a reasonable reason for this behaviour.     Is it possible to make a join in SQL server that joins each row from table A to n random rows in another? For example, say I have a Customer table, a Product table and an Order table. I want to join each customer to 5 random products and insert these rows into the order table. (And each customer should be joined to 5 random rows of his own, I don't want all customers joining to the same 5 rows). Is this possible? I'm using SQL Server 2005 and it's fine if the solution is specific to that. This is a weird requirement but I'm basically making a small data generator to generate some random data.

  • gvim "open in new window" should change directory to the one of the current file

    Hi I'm working in gvim with sessions and tabs, and everything works great. However there is something that is bothering me. Say I have two files open: /A/B/foo.ext and /C/D/E/bar.ext, the latter being opened last. Now say I want to open /A/B/foobar.ext. I have to go through the hassle of navigating upwards to / and from there to /A/B. I would like to simply change my active tab to /A/B/foo.ext and have gvim automatically change its active directory to /A/B/, so that when I want to open /A/B/foobar.ext with /A/B/foo.ext being active, I'm already in the right CWD. This would be very time-saving if you work with two different projects at a time and need to switch back and forth between the two. Is there any such script that does just that? Thanks.

    I'm trying to extract some certain data from a website using JSoup and Java. So far I've been successful in what I'm trying to achieve. <ul class="beverageFacts"> <li><span>Årgång</span><strong>**2009**&nbsp;</strong></li> I want to extract what is inside the ** in the above HTML. I can do this by using the code that follows in JSoup: doc.select("ul.beverageFacts li:lt(1) strong"); I'm using the lt(1) because there are several more list items following that I want to omit. Now to my problem; there's an optional information tab on the site I'm extracting data from, and it also has a class called "beverageFacts". My code will at the moment extract that data too, which I don't want it to do. The code is further down in the source of the website, and I've tried to use the indexer :lt(1) here aswell, but it wont work. <div id="beverageMoreFacts" style="display: block"> <ul class="beverageFacts"><li class="half"> <span> Färg</span><strong> Ljusgul färg.</strong> My overall result is that I extract "2009 Ljusgul färg." instead of only "2009". How can I write my code so it will only extract the first part, which it succesfully does, and omits the rest? The result looks something like this: TreeViewNode1 Column 1 Column 2 Column 3 Column 1 Column 2 Column 3 TreeViewNode2 Column 1 Column 2 Column 3 Column 1 Column 2 Column 3 All of the TreeView Nodes are collapsable so that you can view only the nodes you want to. I am looking to implement this, but it doesn't seem to be a .net control. Does anyone know of a control which already exists that allows this? It has to be free (as in beer).

    I would like to install VSS 2005 so I can work on a project that is stored under it. Does anyone have any idea where the VSS 2005 client can be obtained? It does not appear to be on my VS2005 install disc (although that is for Team Suite). I cannot get any help from Google. I have an MSDN license (AA edition) but it doesn't seem to be there. This is a real product right? Just to clarify preemptively based on some of the discussions I see on Google when I search for things like "VSS 2005," I am aware of the flaws in VSS and I still need to get it working; I am not interested in converting the project to Subversion; I am not able to transfer it to TFS; I am not able to upgrade the project to VS2008.   • search paths where one native library depends on another

    I'm using JNA and Java but I think this question affects any native-to-nonnative bridge. I have a Java application which relies on lib1.dylib, and lib1.dylib relies on lib2.dylib. I want to put everything inside of my .app file on Mac. I can easily put lib1.dylib inside and set java.classpath (or NativeLibrary.addSearchPath()) to tell the JVM where to find lib1.dylib. The trouble is, I don't know how to communicate that lib1.dylib's dependencies are also in the location I provided. The result is that lib1 is loaded fine, but then lib2 can't be found since it's not in the operating system's library path. Anyone know how I can overcome this problem? I imagine it must come up plenty in big projects with large numbers of shared libraries.

The URL config looks like the following: urlpatterns = patterns('my_site.core_prototype.views', (r'^newpost/$', 'newPost'), (r'^$', 'NewPostAndDisplayList'), # capture nothing... #more here... - perhaps the perma-links? ) This is in an app's url.py which is loaded from the project's url.py via: urlpatterns = patterns('', # only app for now. (r'^$', include('my_site.core_prototype.urls')), ) The problem is, when I receive a 404 attempting to utilize newpost, the error page only shows the ^$ -- it seems to ignore the newpost pattern... I'm sure the solution is probably stupid-simple but right now I'm missing it. Can someone help get me on the right track...

The server give me an error description which I want to place inside of the corresponding place of my current page.
