  C# has the keyword called yield. VB.NET lacks this keyword. I am curious how some of the VB programmers have gotten around the lack of this keyword. Do you implement your own iterator class? Or do you try and code to avoid the need of an iterator? The yield keyword does force the compiler to do some coding behind the scenes. http://blogs.msdn.com/oldnewthing/archive/2008/08/12/8849519.aspx is a good example of that.

  I have two multimaps defined so multimap phoneNums; and multimap numPhones; they are some kind of phone registry - phoneNums contains Key name, and second argument phonenumber, numPhones contain Key phonenumber and second is name. I want to optimize erase from both of them when i want to delete string Key form phoneNums, which is also second element in numPhones. (Label of two button) When you click on “Same Window” button your custom component should get added dynamically in your application. Issue faced:- Clicking on Combobox, list is not getting open as change event doesn’t get fired in Native Window as it looses reference from main application. Issue with DataGrid in Native window (AIR). • DataGridEvent.COLUMN_STRETCH event get affected if try to open datagrid in Native Window. • DataGridEvent get fired but takes long time or even stuck while column stretch Note: Application is an Desktop Application. '/template.php'); } } This code works pretty well, the problem is I want to inverse the content adding, meaning that I want first "content/templates/id9/template.php" included before "id8/template.php" and so on till the first.. • Possible: Set Operations on Disparate Maps with Same Key Type?

  Let's say I have two maps: typedef int Id; std::map<Id, std::string> idToStringMap; std::map<Id, double> idToDoubleMap; And let's say I would like to do a set operation on the keys of the two maps. Is there an easier way to do this than to create a custom "inserter" iterator? such that I could do something like: std::set<Id> resultSet; set_difference( idToStringMap.begin(), idToStringMap.end(), idToDoubleMap.begin(), idToDoubleMap.end(), resultSet.begin() ); My experimentation results imply that it will be necessary to create a custom inserter and perhaps a custom key comparer to do this, but I want for some insight/shortcut before doing so.

But when I use the custom class in my nib and launch the app, the button initially displays for a split second as tiny with small text, then grows. So the outcome is what I want, but I don't want to see the transition. Can anyone put me right? Thanks. JP

• JQuery uploadify plugin not working

  Hello, I first used primefaces FileUpload component and it didn't work. Always gave "HTTP Error". So i thought there is some bug with this component and went to plain old JQuery and tried using uploadify. But still i get the same error. I am using Container Managed Security. Is this the reason for not working properly? • Web Setup Project - Getting the Current Machine Name

  I've got a web setup project with a custom screen in it that asks for a machine name. Is there anyway to prepopulate this field with the current machines name? For the case that I need it for just including "Localhost" does not meet my requirements. "Environment.MachineName" will return the machine name within a code block which would be fine if I was needing it in a custom action. But it seems custom actions don't excecute until after you go through the installation wizard... So I cant actually use it. Anyway let me know what you think.

  Hey, I'm having trouble with a custom control and adding it dynamically using JQuery. I've got the following code: $('.custom_control_div').replaceWith( "<div><cc:mycustomcontrol id='cControl' ></cc:mycustomcontrol></div>" ); This doesn't throw any errors, but doesn't work because I need to use runat=server in my custom control. However, if I add runat=server in the code above, no javascript is executed on the page (and jqueryUI no longer works). The custom control works fine when I add it directly to the page from design-time. Is there a way to add a control, with runat=server using Jquery? Thanks

I would like to have a custom ControlDesigner, but I would like to modify the behavior of the TextBox's designer rather than having to write a complete designer myself. In particular, I'd like to be able to return the TextBox's SnapLines while providing some custom verbs. Is there a good way to do this? EDIT: To clarify, this is for Windows Forms in .NET 2.0.

  I've got a UITabBarController with 7 tabs. Each of the 7 tabs has its own UINavigationController and customizes its toolbar. When a view is loaded via the UITabBarController's "More" menu its custom toolbar isn't appearing. If i switch the order of the views around so that the same view is now accessible from the UITabBar without going through the "More" menu then the custom toolbar shows up like it's supposed to. Is there a way to customize a NavigationController's toolbar when that NavigationController is loaded via the "More" menu of a TabBarController? I'm actually also interested in replacing the "More" menu navigation controller with my own custom one on views loaded via the "More" menu... not sure whether that's even possible. Any feedback will be appreciated.

• Flex 3: Embedding MovieClip Symbol to Image Control programmatically

  I've reviewed all the documentation and Google results surrounding this and I think I have everything setup correctly. My problem is that the symbol is not appearing in my app. I have a MovieClip symbol that I've embedded to my Flex Component. I need to create a new Image control for each item from my dataProvider and assign this embedded symbol as the Image's source. I thought it was simple but apparently not. Since I am iterating a vector and modifying the vector at the same time? I have thought about putting r2 in a temp rectVect and then remove them from the rectVect later (after the iteration). But how can I skip the ones in this temp rectVect during iteration?

  Hello everybody, I need to implement a plugin architecture within c#/.net in order to load custom user defined actions data type handling code for a custom data grid / conversion / ... from non-static linked assembly files. Because the application has to handle many custom user defined actions, Iam in need for unloading them once executed in order to reduce memory usage. I found several good articles about plugin architectures, eg: ExtensionManager PluginArchitecture ... but none of them gave me enough sausage for properly unloading an assembly. As the program is to be distributed and the user defined actions are (as the name states) user defined: how to i prevent the assembly from executing malicious code (eg. closing my progra, deleting files)? Are there any other pitfalls one of you has encountered?

• Should I use Drupal or Kohana-type framework for a web "application"

  The debate is that I need a PHP Framework/Drupal with the flexibility to add custom features to a potentially large application (web and with an api). However, with a framework, like Kohana, I see myself tackling and re-inventing the wheel with the simple stuff like account management and cms stuff. Account management and quick data collection, like fast form creation, are tedious in Kohana but appear incredible simple in Drupal. On the other hand, based on my limited Drupal experience, I doubt building rapid custom "features" and allowing users to create "groups" and to manage their own roles within those groups is something Drupal can easily accomplish. To simplify, is Drupal capable of true Web Applications; where the application is a service and provides custom results to each user? Can it provide a dashboard-like interface for users to change their settings or preferences? Can it aggregate data from particular users to provide better results/info to others? If so, please point me to some knowledge :-)
