• EF 4.0 - Many to Many relationship - problem with deletes

  My Entity Model is as follows: Person , Store and PersonStores Many-to-many child table to store PeronId,StoreId When I get a person as in the code below, and try to delete all the StoreLocations, it deletes them from PersonStores as mentioned but also deletes it from the Store Table which is undesirable. Also if I have another person who has the same store Id, then it fails saying "The DELETE statement conflicted with the REFERENCE constraint \"FK_PersonStores_StoreLocations\". The conflict occurred in database \"EFMapping2\", table \"dbo.PersonStores\", column 'StoreId'.\r\nThe statement has been terminated" as it was trying to delete the StoreId but that StoreId was used for another PeronId and hence exception thrown.   Hello, I have the following problems: First: I am trying to do a 32-spaces bitwise left shift on a large number, and for some reason the number is always returned as-is. For example: echo(516103988<<32); // echoes 516103988 Because shifting the bits to the left one space is the equivalent of multiplying by 2, i tried multiplying the number by 2^32, and it works, it returns 2216649749795176448. Second: I have to add 9379 to the number from the above point: printf('%0.0f', 2216649749795176448 + 9379); // prints 2216649749795185920 Should print: 2216649749795185827

• Problem's running unittest test suite OO

  Hello, I have a test suite to perform smoke tests. I have all my script stored in various classes but when I try and run the test suite I can't seem to get it working if it is in a class. The code is below: (a class to call the tests) from alltests import SmokeTests class CallTests(SmokeTests): def integration(self): self.suite() if __name__ == '__main__': run = CallTests() run.integration() And the test suite: class SmokeTests(): def suite(self): #Function stores all the modules to be tested modules_to_test = ('external_sanity', 'internal_sanity') alltests = unittest.TestSuite() for module in map(__import__, modules_to_test): alltests.addTest(unittest.findTestCases(module)) return alltests unittest.main(defaultTest='suite') This output's an error: Attribute Error: 'module' object has no attribute 'suite' So I can see how to call a normal function defined but I'm finding it difficult calling in the suite. • dateByAddingComponents problem and getting difference of dates with NSDateComponents problem!

  I am having problems with adding values to dates and also getting differences between dates. The dates and components calculated are incorrect. So for adding, if I add 1.5 months, I only get 1 month, however if I add any whole number ie (1 or 2 or 3 and etc) it calculates correctly. • Visual studio 2010 setup project problem.

  Hi there, I've made an application that uses .NET framework 3.5 SP1 and SQL Server 2008 Express. Application is fine and now i'm going to to make a setup project for this. When I first build my setup it was fine as all the prerequisites were not included in setup. But I want my setup to install .NET 3.5 SP1 and SQL SERVER 2008 Express also. So for this I've changed the options in setup project's properties from "Download prerequisites from following location" to "Download prerequisites from the same location as my application". In addition to that I've also checked the options above like .NET 3.5 SP1 and SQL Server 2008 Express etc. After doing all this I build my project again. This time I'm Getting 57 Errors. Error 1 The install location for prerequisites has not been set to 'component vendor's web site' and the file 'DotNetFX35SP1\dotNetFX20\aspnet.msp' in item '.NET Framework 3.5 SP1' can not be located on disk. See Help for more information.   I've created a local Apache Derby database in Netbeans, but am having problems when I try and autogenerate the POJO files, using the "Hibernate Reverse Engineering Wizard".   I'm using jqGrid for a JIRA plugin and have included the jquery and jqgrid libraries as web resources. I've set up a column in jqGrid as required and when I try to submit the form with the respective column empty I get an error in firebug: jQuery.jgrid is undefined jQuery.jgrid is null but $.jgrid has the correct data. Does anyone know how I can set up jqgrid so that it points to the $.jgrid without having to change all the source code? or any other way round this? Thanks

  Hi all, I am trying to use the library spring-json.1.3.1 in a project that has been done with Liferay 5.1.2 which includes Spring 2.5. Following the project website instructions, I managed to make the request hit in my controller, but at the moment of returning the json object back through the modelAndView object it fails with the following error: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException at com.liferay.portlet.MimeResponseImpl.setContentType(MimeResponseImpl.java:162) I have checked Liferays source code, and it checks that contentType that its being set is in a harcoded list,if it not it will throw a IllegalArgumentException that it is exactly what os happening. • jQuery Hover Problem - Hover Triggers on Mouse Move

If you leave your mouse still on top, and then move a smidgen to the left or right, it triggers again. There's some other silliness going on if you move around The code is pretty simple: $('li.post').hover(function(){ $(this).find('.meta').slideDown('fast'); }, function(){ $(this).find('.meta').slideUp('fast'); }) Any idea why things are behaving like this? This seems to only be happening in Firefox (i'm using 3.5.5 on OSX) UPDATE After restarting Firefox, all is well! Thanks for the input!

Im using a UIWebView to access a website, when i rotate the phone (landscape) the UIWebView is properly resized and the scrollbar are on the right place (on the right edge...) but when i acess any of input fields to fill the information required and exit it the UIWebView scrollbar jumps to the middle of screen (looks like it get back to 320, the width of the screen on portrait). Some useful info, this program was created using IB, have lots of outlets, im thinking about in do (redo) everything programmatically cause i was not the author of the first version... If anyone have seen this before plz let me know.. Thanks in advance!

I did a var dump and noticed that in the for loop with the reverseiterator teh indexes $ii returned are 1 - 2 - 2 !! Whats going on here how can the indexes be repeated? How can I tell one part from the others?

• delphi 2010 variant to unicode problem

  Please advise how I can achieve this. I am working in a dll in delphi 2010. This dll has a exported procedure that receives an array of variants. I want to be able to take one of these variants, and convert it into a string, but i keep getting ????? I cannot change the input variable - it HAS to be an array of variants. The host app that calls the dll cannot be changed. It is written in Delphi2006. sample dll's code is: Procedure TestArr(ArrUID : array of variant);stdcall; var i : integer; s:string; begin s:= string(String(Arruid[0])); showmessage(s); end; obviously in D2006 my dll works fine. I have tried using VartoStr - no luck. When I try test the VaType I am getting a varString Any suggestions?

But I have removed all cells in atableview before call 'reloadData'. • SQL Query problem: How to merge two lists.

  I have a base table of Participants and Answers, with the following structure: ParticipantId, BusUnitId, QuestionNum, Answer. In this table, QuestionNum ranges, say, from 1 to 6. I also have two other tables that sort of link QuestionNum to the actual question table, BusUnitQuestions, and ParticipantQuestions. For each QuestionNum, I must get the actual question text, based on QuestionId. BusUnitId, QuestionId ParticipantId, QuestionId Now assuming records with QuestionNum from 1 to 6. BusUnitQuestions has 3 records, so QuestionNum 1 to 3 must join to Question on the QuestionId's from BusUnitQuestions, and QuestionNum 4 to 6 must join to Question on the QuestionId's from ParticipantQuestions. I assume I need to use ROW_NUMBER() in the subquery from BusUnitQuestions to join to my answer table, but I'm lost after that. If anyone at all understands me, do you have any suggestions?

• Problem using Hibernate-Search

  Hi, I am using hibernate search for my application. It is well configured and running perfectly till some time back, when it stopped working suddenly. The reason according to me being the number of my model (bean) classes. I have some 90 classes, which I add to my configuration, while building my Hibernate Configuration. When, I disable hibernate search (remove the search annotations and use Configuration instead of AnnotationsConfiguration), I try to start my application, it Works fine. But,the same app when I enable search, it just hangs up. I tried debugging and found the exact place where it hangs. After adding all the class to my AnnotationsConfiguration object, when I say cfg.buildSessionfactory(), It never comes out of that statement. (I have waited for hours!!!) Also when I decrease the number of my model classes (like say to half i.e. 50) it comes out of that statement and the application works fine.. Can Someone tell why is this happening?? My versions of hibernate are: hibernate-core-3.3.1.GA.jar hibernate-annotations-3.4.0.GA.jar hibernate-commons-annotations-3.1.0.GA.jar hibernate-search-3.1.0.GA.jar Also if need to avoid using AnnotationsConfiguration, I read that I need to configure the search event listeners explicitly.. can anyone list all the neccessary listeners and their respective classes?
