  • Accidentally created VB.NET project instead of C#

    This should seem simple enough, but can't figure it out. I was porting a project out of MonoDevelop and into VS2008, but I accidently created the project as VB.NET instead of C#. Now ReSharper and any syntax highlighting is throwing a fit because it's trying to validate it as VB. How do I tell it to treat it as a C# project without creating a whole new one?

  • Using psexec to start Internet Explorer then navigate to a particular URL

    Just like the question says, I want to be able to use psexec to start Internet Explorer, then load a particular website in the browser. I know how to start IE, just can't make a command that goes to a particular webpage. This is what I have so far: psexec "C:\program files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" I just can't figure the syntax for loading anything other than the default start page Thanks!

  • What's the right tool for this job in Google Spreadsheets?

    Is it possible to nest simple programs within a Google doc spreadsheet, similar to how you would w/Basic in Excel? Or alternatively a simple = syntax using regex, if there is a way to do that in google docs? I want to take a list of multiple names(name1, name2, name3) in a single cell from across multiple identical sheets and transpose them to another sheet within the same spreadsheet, check for duplicates and ignore capitals, etc. Is there a way to do this?

Is something like this possible with Mustache and PHP? {{object.method(parameter)}} If it gets too laborious to achieve this with Mustache, what template engine would you recommend? Remember I need to pass parameters to object methods while in the view context (like we do with helpers). The nearest as possible to mustache syntax is welcome.

    In non-ARC code retained properties handily take care of memory management for you using the self.property = syntax, so we were taught to use them for practically everything. But now with ARC this memory management is no longer an issue, so does the reason for using properties evaporate? is there still any good reason (obviously other than providing public access to instance variables) to use properties anymore?

    I get the following error when I call a stored proc within an execute sql task in SSIS. "Description: Executing the query "Exec up_CallXXX" failed with the following error: "Incorrect syntax near '13'.". Possible failure reasons: Problems with the query, "ResultSet" property not set correctly, parameters not set correctly, or connection not established correctly." The stored proc runs fine when I execute it through SSMS. Does anyone have an idea what is going on.

  • Setting up httpd.conf / mod_rewrite to redirect to codeigniter?

    I'm sorry to ask this here, as I'm sure the solution is fairly easy but for the life of my I can't setup httpd.conf on my apache server to automatically load the code_igniter files. Instead I'm having to go into the folder itself localhost/trunk/etc/etc until I get index.php - which messes with some of the relative paths (our backend coder is gone for the week so I can't ask him, but he has already setup the rewrite rules on our development server).

    Hi, I'm new to XPATH and I'd like to know if there is a nice way to do this using XPATH queries. I want to match consecutive sibling nodes in a XML tree to certain predefined rules for example if there are three sibling nodes occurring immediately one after the other and they have the attributes value="A", value="B" and value="C", I want the XPATH query to match the first node/last node in such a sequence and I want to extract all such consecutive sequence of nodes from the XML tree so that I can process them later on.     I am trying to write an aggregate udf for using Sql Server 2008 and C# 3.5 that implodes an aggregation of data. The kind of syntax I am looking for is: SELECT [dbo].[Implode]([Id], ',') FROM [dbo].[Table] GROUP BY [ForeignID] where the second parameter is the delimiter for the aggregate function. And example return value would be something like: 1,4,56 Is there a way to have multiple parameters in an aggregate udf?
