• How to add on to an existing onclick event?

  I'm currently writing a Greasemonkey script for a page, so I can't modify the script myself. There is a form submit button on the page. When you click this button, it executes some fancy AJAX calls and such to update the page and do serverside things. What I'm trying to is basically set a "lastClick" value when the button is clicked. I want to add the code GM_setValue("lastClicked", (new Date()).getTime().toString()) to store the last time the button was clicked (for future uses of the script, it will actually do something with this date). How exactly can I accomplish this?

  I have written code to upload the files of different types using php, and also i am saving their location information and date in database table. i made a query to display list of files i have uploaded...and resulting output on a html page as follows 1.uploads/clouds.png date and time 2.uploads/resume.pdf dare and time .......so on is there any different any way to display them by their file types as like an operating systems do..... or any better way.... • Java - Optimize finding a string in a list

  I have an ArrayList of objects where each object contains a string 'word' and a date. I need to check to see if the date has passed for a list of 500 words. The ArrayList could contain up to a million words and dates. The dates I store as integers, so the problem I have is attempting to find the word I am looking for in the ArrayList. Is there a way to make this faster? In python I have a dict and mWords['foo'] is a simple lookup without looping through the whole 1 million items in the mWords array. Its similar to this question but this question was asked over a year ago so i am positive that the answer is out of date. • NHibernate SchemaUpdate adding existing foreign keys again?

  I'm using SchemaUpdate to synchronize my hbms with existing database. Database has recently created based on hbms and is completely up-to-date. But SchemaUpdate generates all foreign key constraints again. For example suppose you have Student and Teacher. Student has association to Teacher with name ArtTeacher. ArtTeacher is a foreign key from Student to Teacher. Suppose database is up-to-date and currently holde Student, Teacher and their foreign key relation. So HBM and Database are equivalent. Know SchemaUpdate must not do anything but when I see its generated scripts, it re-produce that foreign key again. Why this happens? Is there any way to avoid it?

  I have an automatically binded DataGridView that obtains data and update data directly from a Strongly Typed Dataset and its TableAdapter. the DataGridView allows data editing but I'm having issues dealing with bad formatted data input. For example, one of the columns is a date, formatted in the database as datetime, 11/05/2010. You can edit the date and the DataGridView opens a TextBox in wich you can enter letters, simbols and other unauthorised characters. When you finish editing the cell if has such bad data it throws a System.FormatException How can I prevent some data to be entered? Is there a way to "filter" that data before it is sent back to the DataGridView?

  Hi all I'm stuck. Tried all the angles but i cant seem to get it working. I have 2 inline calendars. When i select a date from the dtFrm calendar it sets the date on the dtTo calendar as expected. I just cant seem to set the EndDate of the dtTo calendar. Anyone manage to solve this one? Thanks! • Combining Content Data in Google Analytics

  When I first start one of my Wordpress blogs, I had the permanent URL for each post include the date of posting. The slug format looked like this: /blog/2010/01/25/this-is-my-article/ Later on, I changed it so that the date was not included in the permanent URL, like this: /blog/this-is-my-article/ and setup a redirect plugin to make sure that users would get to the page they wanted until the site was re-indexed. In Google Analytics, when I review the stats for content I now have multiple records for what is essentially the same page. ie: Top Content List: 45 Pageviews- /blog/this-is-my-article/ 24 Pageviews- /blog/2010/01/25/this-is-my-article/ 33 Pageviews- /blog/some-other-article/ Is there any way to combine those records somehow?

• Long to timestamp for historic data (pre-1900s)

  I have a database of start and stop times that have previously all had fairly recent data (1960s through present day) which i've been able to store as long integers. This is very simialr to unix timestamps, only with millisecond precision, so a function like java.util.Date.getTime() would be the value of the current time. This has worked well so far, but we recently got data from the 1860s, and the following code no longer works: to_timestamp('1-JAN-1970 00:00:00', 'dd-mon-yyyy hh24:mi:ss') + numtodsinterval(int_to_convert/(1000),'SECOND' ); This wraps the date and we get timestamps in the year 2038. Is there a way around this issue? All of the documentation i've looked at the documentation and timestamps should be able to handle years all the way back to the -4000 (BC), so i'm suspecting an issue with the numtodsinterval. Any ideas suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  Hi There, What I am trying to achieve is a report on daily financial transactions. With my SQL query I would like to count the total number of cash transactions, the total cash value and the same for checks. I only want to do this for a specified date. Here is a snippet of the query that I am having trouble with. These sum and count commands are processing all the data in the table and not for the selected date.   I have a db table in SQL Server which contains a start date for a project. On a web status page I want to show how many days/weeks/months the project has run, the units depending on the duration. So under 21 days I'd show days, under 7 weeks I'd show weeks, otherwise show completed months. So I get the days, weeks and months values and can then use some code to decide which one to display. Suppose the project starts on 30 Dec 2010 and I'm checking today (27 Feb 2011). select datediff(d,'30 Dec 2010',getdate()) as days, datediff(wk,'30 Dec 2010',getdate()) as weeks , datediff(m,'30 Dec 2010',getdate())as months produces days: 59 weeks: 9 months: 2 But in fact the difference is 8 whole weeks and some rounding takes place. I've tried doing it in ASP as well, getting the start date and then doing the datediff() but it's no better. Is there a better way? thanks

• Statistics help on 3 choices

  I'm working on an Android app where, at one point, the user is asked to input whether something helped. Their options are 'Yes', 'No' and 'Don't Know'; or they could choose to ignore it. This is for multiple 'somethings' over a date range. A summary view for a date range shows the percentage of 'Yes', 'No' and 'Don't Know' entered for each 'something'. I'm also showing the 'Overall Effectiveness' as the percentage of 'Yes' inputs, which I realise is incorrect. I am thinking of changing that to 'Yes' minus 'No', but that doesn't address the 'Don't Know' inputs. How would I handle the data so that 'Overall Effectiveness' represents all 3 data inputs? So, for a 'something' which has a 'Yes' of 25%, a 'No' of 25% and a 'Don't Know' of 50%, would that be an 'Overall Effectiveness' of 0% ? Or would the 'Don't Know' affect that figure at all? As an additional to that, what graph type, other that Pie, would best display all 3 data?

• Getting time from a cell in Google Spreadsheet

  Hi I have created a Google Spreadsheet form in which for one of the fields I get the time (hh:mm:ss) in 24-hour format. I am using Google Apps Scripts to read values from this spreadsheet and put it into another file. But the other file gets the entire date (don't know from where) and shows a date from 1899. Also the time is shown in PDT (not my time zone). Even the time it prints is not correct How do I read the column value as a string and put it in the other file OR get just the time from the column value (and the correct time) I am using a simple row[0][3] to get the values from an array after doing range.getValues() Thanks.

  I just upgraded from rails 2.3.5 to rails 2.3.8, but now my redirects are not working properly. I get the following as the response HTTP Headers: HTTP/1.1 302 Moved Temporarily Date: Wed, 02 Jun 2010 09:40:39 GMT Content-Length: 93 Content-Type: text/html whereas I got previous: HTTP/1.1 302 Moved Temporarily Connection: close Date: Wed, 02 Jun 2010 09:41:18 GMT Set-Cookie: _session_id=<correct id>; path=/ Status: 302 Found Location: <correct url> Cache-Control: no-cache Server: Mongrel 1.1.5 Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8 Content-Length: 93 Anyone knows how to fix this? Despite the fact that the redirect is not working, the login-cookie is not set too (but I think, this is both related somehow). I have already tried to override redirect_to in order to set response.headers['Location'] etc., but they did not appear in the response.
