  Hi I took the following code from a program I'm writing to check a user generated string against a dictionary as well as other validation. • ASP.NET Login Page Redirection Problem

  Hello everyone! I'm building a silverlight application hosted on ASP.NET Web App. / IIS7 / SSL-enabled website. For security, I put my silverlight page inside a Members folder in the ASP.NET Web Application, and restricted access from anonymous users.(see web.config below) when users try to access pages under Members folder, they get redirected to https://www.ssldemo.com/authenticationtest/login.aspx. • Received memory warning on setimage

  This problem has completely stumped me. This is for iOS 5.0 with Xcode 4.2 What's going on is that in my app I let user select images from their photo album and I save those images to apps document directory. Pretty straight forward. What I do then is that in one of the viewController.m files I create multiple UIImageViews and I then set the image for the image view from one of the picture that user selected from apps dir. The problem is that after a certain number of UIImage sets I receive a "Received memory warning". It usually happens when there are 10 pictures. If lets say user selected 11 pictures then the app crashes with Error (GBC). NOTE: each of these images are at least 2.5 MB a piece. After hours of testing I finally narrowed down the problem to this line of code [button1AImgVw setImage:image]; If I comment out that code. All compiles fine and no memory errors happen. But if I don't comment out that code I receive memory errors and eventually a crash. Also note it does process the whole CreateViews IBAction but still crashes at the end. I cannot do release or dealloc since I am running this on iOS 5.0 with Xcode 4.2 Here is the code that I used. • WordPress issues with htaccess causing 500 server error

  I have a few customers of my custom wordpress theme that are reporting that their sites have went down over the past few weeks due to a 500 internal server error. In each case, it appears that the htaccess file has been to blame. In one case, the user's hosting company found a "_pvt/service.pwd" line in there that was apparently causing the problem. The permissions on my .index file somehow got changed to 777 instead of 644 I'm just seeking to help these users understand what's going on, the likely cause and how to prevent it. I also want to eliminate my theme as a potential contributing factor. I have two areas in which I want to submit here to make sure that they are not likely to cause such an issue. They are my permalink rewrite code as well as my upgrade script (which sets 755 on the destination folder (my theme folder). I'd use BorderLayout while adding, but the vertical spacing is too far away when I just use directions closest to one another. The output of this code is to create a window, 300,150, place whatever's in the two panels in the exact same spaces. Yes, I realize there's useless code there with setBounds(), but that was just me screwing around with Absolute Positioning, which wasn't working out for me either.

  I need to create a PHP script that runs around the clock and re-submits a form without actually loading the form, just sending the same request over and over. I used a program called WireShark to record my packets and play them back using a packet player. This took two hours of troubleshooting and configuring. When everything finally worked, it turns out the end result was a dead end. The packets being sent did not affect anything.   When I play my game it does not show my _Player Movieclip, but it does collide with the ground which is very confusing. So I believe the movieclip is there but not showing the texture/Sprite.   I have a module that builds an app called MyApp. I have another that builds some testcases for that app, called MyAppTests. They both build their own APKs, and they both work fine from within my IDE. I'd like to build them using ant so that I can take advantage of continuous integration. Building the app module works fine. I'm having difficulty getting the Test module to compile and run. Using Christopher's tip from a previous question, I used android create test-project -p MyAppTests -m ../MyApp -n MyAppTests to create the necessary build files to build and run my test project. This seems to work great (once I remove an unnecessary test case that it constructed for me and revert my AndroidManifest.xml to the one I was using before it got replaced by android create), but I have two problems. I'm not sure it's the right thing to do, but I copied the missing libraries (roboguice and gson) from the MyApp/libs directory to the MyAppTests/libs directory and everything seems to compile fine. But that leads to the second problem, which I'm currently stuck on. • Can't build and run an android test project created using "ant create test-project" when tested proj

  I have a module that builds an app called MyApp. I have another that builds some testcases for that app, called MyAppTests. They both build their own APKs, and they both work fine from within my IDE. I'd like to build them using ant so that I can take advantage of continuous integration. Building the app module works fine. I'm having difficulty getting the Test module to compile and run. Using Christopher's tip from a previous question, I used android create test-project -p MyAppTests -m ../MyApp -n MyAppTests to create the necessary build files to build and run my test project. This seems to work great (once I remove an unnecessary test case that it constructed for me and revert my AndroidManifest.xml to the one I was using before it got replaced by android create), but I have two problems. I'm not sure it's the right thing to do, but I copied the missing libraries (roboguice and gson) from the MyApp/libs directory to the MyAppTests/libs directory and everything seems to compile fine. • android Emulator always stop at "waiting for Home..."

  hi,there, I freshed install Eclipse, jdk, android sdk 1.5 in winxp. but when I run the "hello world" app, the emulator always stop at "andorid" loading message. • Ruby Drag-n-Drop IDE and Ruby programming related

  I am writing a small desktop GUI application using Ruby and Gtk2. I am using RubyMine 3 on Linux (Fedora). I created a simple class to create a Gtk Window but now I feel it takes more time to just keep adding code for a Button, Drop Down and TextBox etc. I need to write even more code if the DropDown needs to be populated at run-time. Is there any Ruby Gtk IDE which supports adding Controls with simple drag-n-drop? At least I can focus on the business logic instead of just defining position and sizes of controls. One more question. I subscribed to Ruby-Forum mailing list but it is often flooded with Spam. Which is the official Ruby forum? Recently NetBeans has withdrawn support for Ruby. Is it worth to learn Ruby seriously and use it in commercial environment or not?

Downloading and installing Event Store and Tools Download Event Store http://download.geteventstore.com – I unzipped these files into C:\EventStore\v2.0.1 Download Curl from http://curl.haxx.se/download.html – I downloaded Win64 Generic (with SSL) and unzipped these files into C:\curl version 7.31.0 Running the tools I used in my presentation Demonstration 1 (running Event Store) You can use one of my Event Store runner command files to run the single node version of Event Store, using default ports of 2213 for HTTP and 1113  for TCP, and with a wildcard HTTP pattern.  Both take a single command line parameter to specify the location of the data and log files.  The runners assume the single node executable is located in C:\EventStore\v2.0.1, and will placed data files and logs beneath C:\EventStore\Data, i.e. RunEventStore.cmd TestData1 This will create data files in C:\EventStore\Data\TestData1\Data and log files in C:\EventStore\Data\TestData1\logs. If, when running Event Store you may see the following message, [03288,15,06:23:00.622] Failed to start http server Access is denied You will either need to run Event Store in an administrator console window, or you can use the netsh command to create a firewall permission to allow HTTP listening (this will need to be run, once, in an administrator console window), netsh http add urlacl url=http://*:2213/ user=liam You can always delete this later by running the delete; netsh http delete urlacl url=http://*:2213/ If you want to confirm that everything is running OK, open the management console in a browser by navigating to http://127.0.0.1:2213. If at any point you are asked for a user name and password use the default of ‘admin’/‘changeit’.   Demonstration 2 (reading and adding data, curl) In my second demonstration I used curl directly from the console to read streams, write events and then read back those events. On GitHub I have included is a set of curl commands, CurlCommandLine.txt, and a sample data file, SampleData.json, to load an event into a DDDNorth3 stream. As there is not much data in the Event Store at this point I used the $stats-127.0.0.1:2113 which is a stream containing performance statistics for Event Store and is updated every 30 seconds (default). Demonstration 3 (projections) On GitHub I have included a sample projection, Projection-ByRoom.txt, which will create streams based on the room on which a session was held on the DDDNorth3 agenda. Browse to the management console, http://127.0.0.1:2213.  Click on Projections, New Projection, give it a name, Sessions-ByRoom, and copy in the JavaScript in the Projection-ByRoom.txt file.  Select Continuous, tick Emit Enabled and then click on Post. It should run immediately. You may by challenged for the administration login for the management console, if so use the default user name and password; 'admin'/'changeit'.   Demonstration 4 (C# client) The final demonstration was the Visual Studio 2012 project using the Event Store client – referenced directly as C:\EventStore\v2.0.1\EventStore.ClientAPI.dll, although you can switch this to the latest Event Store client NuGet package. The source code provides a console app for viewing projections with the projection manager (HTTP connection), as well as containing a full set of data for the entire DDDNorth3 agenda.  It also deals with the strategy for reading newest events backwards to older events and ignoring older events that have been superseded.   At firs sorry for my english, it isn't my native languaje. I've readed some questions similar but no the exactly whith the same problem. I've moved my home directory to a separated partitión (Ubuntu 11.10) following this tutorial http://www.ubuntu-es.org/node/58233 After checking that they were all my files and folders (forgetting that one of dirs was encrypted by ecryptfs) i've installed fedora 16. Well, suprised when in my home folder was an Readme.txt advising me that my folder was unmounted for security reasons and proposing to type in comand line "ecryptfs-mount-Private" (din't work) or make click on labeled icon "acces your private data desktop" (neither din't work). After three days reading all i could find on the internet, i follow The Dustin Kirkland tutorial in http://blog.dustinkirkland.com/2011/04/introducing-ecryptfs-recover-private.html, but any /.ecryptfs was found. I'm sure that the data are somewere (the size of the moved dir is identical to the original one). Any help would by greatly appreciated. Thaks a lot.

I looked at couple of solutions to this use notify-send to display user notification followed by a reboot command, which did work as planned. But the user notification is only shown when I install the package from command line and not when I installed through Software Center. I came across some posts where they suggested adding the following to the postinst script [ -x /usr/share/update-notifier/notify-reboot-required ] && \ /usr/share/update-notifier/notify-reboot-required || true Tried including the above in the postinst script but all it does is updating the two files /var/run/reboot-required.pkgs and /var/run/reboot-required with restart information. It neither displayed user-notification nor rebooted the system after package is installed. Is there a way to display reboot required user notification in Ubuntu/Fedora/Open SUSE ?

We had tried to run the eclipse in various environment like Windows, Fedora 16, Cent OS. but some how not getting positive results. Can anyone help me out to decide which OS, and eclipse or version should we have to use so can able to resolve the hanging issue? Thanks in advance. Pratik
