    We have some suspicious requests to our server, 74.125.186.46 - - [24/Aug/2014:23:24:11 -0500] "GET <url> HTTP/1.1" 200 16912 "-" "Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; bingbot/2.0; +http://www.bing.com/bingbot.htm)" 74.125.187.193 - - [24/Aug/2014:23:24:12 -0500] "GET <url> HTTP/1.1" 200 20119 "-" "Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; bingbot/2.0; +http://www.bing.com/bingbot.htm)" As it shows, user-agent shows it is bingbot. But whois data of IP address(74.125.186.46 and 74.125.187.193) shows it is from google servers. So is it Google,Bing or any other content scrappers?

    Below is a much simplified version of what I have in the configuration file of a server run by Nginx 1.2.5, yet it causes 301 Moved Permanently with Location: http://example.com/phpmyadmin/ before serving data, which is not what I expected from the default behavior of the rewrite directive. server { listen 80; location /pma { rewrite ^ /phpmyadmin; } location /phpmyadmin { root /var/www; index Documentation.html; } } When I follow http://example.com/pma, the data is served but the URL in the browser is changed to http://example.com/phpmyadmin/ while it was supposed to stay http://example.com/pma. How do I avoid Nginx sending 301 Moved Permanently so that it doesn't expose the actual directory structure on my server?

  • Apache on Mac Mavericks issue [migrated]

    Trying to run Apache so that I can create a testing server on my mac.When I start apache it starts, but it doesn't run (no connection to local host. Ill upload the unix,you'll see that after starting there is no processes, and I did a check to show you what was running on my port 80... I don't entirely know that means.   • squid3 auth thru samba using ntlm to AD doesn't work

    some users here are spending to much time exploring the WWW. So big boss whats to get this under control. We use a squid3 just for some security reason and chace benefits. and now i'm trying to set up a new proxy on a different server (Debian 6) Permissions are defined in AC and the squid3 should get the auth thru samba/winbind by using the ntlm protocol. but i'll get all the time Access, denited. it only works by using LDAP but thats not the way i need it. here some log and confs squid access.log 1326878095.784 1 192.168.15.27 TCP_DENIED/407 4049 GET http://at.msn.com/?     What is a good/the best way to fill a cube map with depth values that are going to give me the least amount of trouble with floating point imprecision? To get up and running I'm just writing the raw depth to the buffer, as you can imagine it's pretty terrible - I need to to improve it, but I'm not sure how. A few tutorials on directional lights divide the depth by W and store the Z/W value in the cube map - How would I perform the depth comparison in my shadow mapping step? The nvidia article here http://http.developer.nvidia.com/GPUGems/gpugems_ch12.html appears to do something completely different and use the dot of the light vector, presumably to counter the depth precision worsening over distance? He also scales the geometry so that it fits into the range -.5 +.5 - The article looks a bit dated, though - is this technique still reasonable? First i added google + link in certain web pages and in my google profile i added those pages which had google + anchor link with rel=author tag. After updating i used the following to verify. http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/richsnippets?url=http%3A%2F%2Fvikku.info%2Fcodesnippets%2Fphp%2F&view= You can see that my pic is appearing at the right. here is a screen shot. so, what am i missing? why it is not in the search result. My application is based on shopping. if a customer searched for mobiles. it will redirect to url like this http://mydomain.com/cat/mobile-3 3 in the url indicates my database id it is used for further searching After the user reached the mobile page he may need to filter for some brand eg. nokia so my url look lik http://mydomain.com/subcat/nokia-3-2 The integer at the end refers to 3 category id and 2 the brand id My doubt is whether the integer at the end of the url will affect seo ranking.

    In this article i'm gonna show you how i do when i have to update some content with AJAX and i have to change the URL. First, let's see an example to understand it better. If the user is reading a News with Id 1 and he clicked on another News with Id 2, if we update the content with AJAX the user is now reading the News Id 2 but the URL remains the same, for example: http://localhost/News/Read/1 Now let's see another example from Facebook. If i'm reading my profile and i click on Photos, Facebook updates it with AJAX and the URL switch to: http://www.facebook.com/guilhermegeek#!/guilhermegeek?sk=photos If we enter on that URL, it's mapped to: http://www.facebook.com/guilhermegeek?sk=photos The trick here is the parameters that we use after the #!. Those parameters are never sent to the server side, so we handle them on the client side (javascript).In the example of Facebook, he receives my profile name (guilhermegeek) and the action is to read photos. A few time ago i've written an article in my Portuguese blog explaining how to use an alternative to clients with javascript disabled. Like this: <a onclick="javascript:ReadNews(id);" href="#!News/Read/@id/">Title</a> When the user enter the link of that news, my function Read(); fills the News in the page. Then, i add the #!News/Read/@id/ to my URL. When I run the command: (Obviously changed for my enviroment) # msktutil -c -b "CN=COMPUTERS" -s HTTP/centos.dom.local -h centos.dom.local -k /etc/HTTP.keytab --computer-name centos-http --upn HTTP/centos.dom.local --server server.dom.local --verbose --enctypes 28 I get the following error (The whole message is too long to post here): Error: Unable to set machine password for centos: (3) Authentication error Error: set_password failed kinit works fine and the computer is added to the DC under COMPUTERS and SRV records created except no keytab is created.
