  • C#, hover over bitmap pixel and get the coordinates?

    Hi, does anyone know how to do this? I presume it uses some sort of event handler but i wondered if anyone could set me on my path? Also, how does one show that yellow textbox which sometimes appears when you hover over processional software and it gives some information about what to fill in the textfield, thats perferably how i wish to show the coordinates? I dont know the name of what its called. In IE 8, if you hover over the name of a tab, it comes up. Thank you in advance

  • How do i view the index version of a file before it is committed?

    I have just performed add --interactive, so the index version of some files is different than the working-directory versions. Instead of doing diff --cached, I want to actually dump the contents of each file in the index, but I can't find a command to do that. I should think that there would be something like "git show INDEX:filename...", but "INDEX" is not a valid object name. I was able to do git ls --cached, then git show , but there should be a more straightforward method to see what you are committing.

    Hi I have following input which displays datetime <div ng-repeat="item in items"> <input type="text" ng-model="item.name" /> <input ng-model="item.time" /> </div> The issue i have is that time is in following format. "2002-11-28T14:00:00Z" I want to just display the time portion. For which I would have to apply filter date: 'hh:mm a' I tried ng-model="labor.start_time | date: 'hh:mm a'" Please let me know how i can show only time portion in input box showin time only. I cant use span tag as the time a user can change so have to show in input tag. Thanks

    When doing recursive diffs I want to ignore expected differences/translations - is there a way to do that with standard unix tools? E.g. file1: 1 ... 2 /path/to/something/ver1/blah/blah 3 /path/to/something/ver1/blah/blah 4 ... file2: 1 ... 2 /path/to/something/ver2/blah/blah 3 /path/to/something/ver3/blah/blah 4 ... I want to be able to do something like: diff file1 file2 --ignore-transltion "ver1>ver2" This should show only show me that line 3 is different Does anyone know of a good way to do that? I can easily write a perl script to do it but i will end up re-implementing most of the rest of the functionality of 'diff'. Update: My goal is to run this on directories with different versions of the same files with "diff -r" so I can spot unexpected differences in versions.

    I am a bit new to Windows Mobile (with C# and the compact framework) development, so I am kind of unsure how to do this. The user has to go through several pages of information in a wizard-like manner. At the start there is a login window. How would I go about and implement this? Would I just have different User Controls for each page and create/show and destroy/hide them on request? Or do I need to create different forms and somehow show those?

    hey guys, i've a problem with progress dialog on opening an activity (called activity 2 in example). The activity 2 has a lot of code to execute in this OnCreate event. final ProgressDialog myProgressDialog = ProgressDialog.show(MyApp.this,getString(R.string.lstAppWait), getString(R.string.lstAppLoading), true); new Thread() { public void run() { runOnUiThread(new Runnable() { @Override public void run() { showApps(); } }); myProgressDialog.dismiss(); } }.start(); The showApps function launch activity 2. if i execute this code on my button click event on activity 1, i see the progress, but she doesn't move and afeter i have a black screen during 2 or 3 seconds the time for android to show the activity. If i execute this code in the OnCreate of Activity2 and if i replace the showApps by the code on OnCreate, Activity1 freeze 2 seconds, i don't see the progress dialog, and freeze again 2 seconds on activity 2 before seeing the result. An idea ?

    sorry for my noob question, I'm currently writing a perl web application with sqlite database behind it. I would like to be able to show in my app query results which might get thousands of rows - these should be split in pages - routing should be like /webapp/N - where N is the page number. what is the correct way to query the sqlite db using DBI, in order to fetch only the relavent rows. for instance, if I show 25 rows per page so I want to query the db for 1-25 rows in the first page, 26-50 in the second page etc....     After the splash screen, it takes about 6 sec to load onCreate contents in the Main activity. My question is why my data looks like this: مرحبا العالم in MySQL table, and how should I correct it.

    I'm trying to replace the navigation on our sharepoint site with a treeview. It's a large site with up to 4 subsite leves in places. All I need it to do is show a consistent structure from page to page show only sites and pages The default sharepoint treeview seems to do neither of these things (doesn't display items from the parent site, includes document libraries but not pages). Does anyone have any idea how to achieve this? We're using the publishing site template throughout if that makes a difference. I've tried binding the tree to the datasource the quick launch uses but I guess from the error message they expect differently named properties.

If user clicks text-input, it's prompt should disappear to allow typing. I have seen various examples, that uses background image with prerendered text on it.     I have a C# method say: MyMethod(int num, string name, Color color, MyComplexType complex) Using reflection, how can I distinctly identify each of the parameter types of any method? I want to perform some task by parameter type. If the type is simple int, string or boolean then I do something, if it is Color, XMLDocument, etc I do something else and if it is user defined type like MyComplexType or MyCalci etc then I want to do certain task. I am able to retrieve all the parameters of a method using ParameterInfo and can loop through each parameter and get their types. But how can I identify each data type? foreach (var parameter in parameters) { //identify primitive types?? //identify value types //identify reference types } Edit: this is apart of my code to create a propert grid sort of page where I want to show the parameter list with data types for the selected method. If the parameter has any userdefined type/reference type then I want to expand it further to show all the elements under it with datatypes.

  • .Htaccess & Wildcard Subdomains — Can't get other variables to work!

    It would be absolutely awesome if someone could help me out here. I have a domain, let's call it "example.com". I have wildcard subdomains setup and working great. The only problem is I can't get htaccess to see anything else like subdomain.example.com/profile/some_name/some_id_number/. In fact, I can type any garbage after the domain and it will still just show me the home screen. Here's what's in my htaccess file now: Options +FollowSymLinks Options +Indexes Options -Multiviews RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/app/index.php RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\.example\.com RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^([^.]+)\.example\.com RewriteRule (.*) /app/index.php?user%1 [L] I can see why that wouldn't work yet, but I wanted to add something similar to the following: RewriteRule ^profile/([^/]+)/([^/]+) /app/index.php?page=profile&username=$1&user_id=$2 [nc] But it's not working at all. The server doesn't even really show signs that it's even seeing it there. Any ideas?

  • How to remember last state with Jquery?

    I have a menu with submenus that can be toggled (hide/show type deal). Is there a relatively easy way to remember last state of the menu? (I hide/show submenu when clicking on a header and change a style of the header so the background arrow will change (up/down)). It works fine, but I'd like it to remember last state, so when user goes to another page on the site and gets back, the menu shows the same way as user left it. I'm not really good with cookies so any help will be appreciated. Yeah, menu is generated dynamically from the db using PHP. There are now only 2 headers with submenus, but there will be more so I'd need some method that's "scalable" for any number of submenus.   • Permission denied after image upload

    I've got a image upload script that works on my Apache on IIS development server, but on the Apache Lunix live server, although the images are uploaded correctly and the MySQL database is updated correctly, I can't view the images. Viewing the HTML source, checking both the FTP files and the database values, all look OK. But the image doesn't show, just the white box with the red cross in the corner. If I try to copy the shortcut of the image and open it in a seperate window, I get the following: I'm not sure what to try next, it seems strange that the files/database/source look good but it just won't show! I've tried both $HTTP_POST_FILES and $_FILES to upload the images, but both have the same result. If anyone has any ideas, please help!
