• How do I replace XmlTreeLoader in Ext JS?

    - by stinkycheeseman
    Ext.ux.xmltreeloader is now deprecated and I'm trying to update it but I'm not sure exactly how to do so. Here's my code: rmg.sscp.search.xmlLoader = Ext.extend(Ext.ux.tree.XmlTreeLoader, { processAttributes : function(attr){ var text = attr.tagName; attr.text = text + ' ' + attr.textContent; attr.loaded = true; attr.expanded = true; } });

  • XSL: List divided into columns.

    - by kalininew
Hello, help me please. There is a list of nodes. <list>
1

2

3

4

5

6

7
and so on... </list> Need to divide the list of "n" (arbitrary number) equal parts. If the number of nodes is not divided equally, then let the last set of nodes will contain the remainder of the division. For example, if the input list contains 33 elements and the output should have 4 parts with uniformly distributed elements. At the exit to get 3 parts to 9 of elements and one part with 6 elements in the sum of 33.

  • Current state of client-side XSLT

    - by Casey
Last I heard, Blizzard was one of the few companies to put client-side XSLT into practice (2008). Is this still the case in 2011, or are more people now exploring this technique in production? It seems that modern browsers (IE9, FF4, Chrome) and client processing power are primed to exploit this standard for tangible savings in server CPU power and bandwidth on large scale properties. Am I missing something? The negative aspects I'm aware of include * additional rendering time * additional assets required on uncached page load * additional layer of complexity * noticably less developer experience than server-side template techniques The benefits I perceive include * distributed template composition (offloaded on the client) * caching of common template fragments offloaded on the client * logical separation of document structure and data * well-documented web standard supported by all modern browsers Finally, although I know it's impossible to predict the future, I am curious to know opinions on whether or not client-side XSLT's day will come. With interest in HTML5 driving users to upgrade their browsers and developers to explore new techniques, I would say yes. How about you? Thanks in advance, Casey

  • how to figure out if the present node is the last child of the parent's node

    - by Bacon
Hello, I'm trying to figure out how to know if a node is the last child of another, or not. I know how to retrieve the parent's lastChild name ($node-parentNode-lastChild-nodeName), but as sometimes there's many same node names within the same parent, the name is definitly not the way to find the last child. I'm looking for some kind of iterator which can retrieve the number of childs, and depending of the position of the current node, tell if the current node is the last child. Thanks!

  • XPath find element based on ancestor element

    - by martymcfly
Hi, again I have Java AST which is created from public class Test { String o = new String("hh"); public void wrong1() { synchronized(o) { // huhu } } } I try to create a XPath query which finds the synchronized block in which the defined String variable o is used. As the definition is above it is an ancestor of the SynchronizedStatement, but I dont get it working //SynchronizedStatement[Expression/PrimaryExpression/PrimaryPrefix/Name[@Image=ancestor::ClassOrInterfaceBody[ClassOrInterfaceBodyDeclaration/FieldVariableDeclaratorId/@Image]]] I know that /SynchronizedStatement[Expression/PrimaryExpression/PrimaryPrefix/Name[@Image= is correct, my problem is how to address the ancestor ClassOrInterfaceBody part. Hope its clear what i mean ;-) Thanks

  • How can I highlight the corresponding titles of clicked links?

    - by danielle
I'm writing an XSL file that contains a side-nav menu with a list of links. When the user clicks on one of the links, the page jumps to the corresponding table of information for that link. How can I make it so that when the link is clicked, the title of that table (not the link itself) is highlighted? It should also un-highlight if another link is clicked. Here is the menu of links:
  <xsl:value-of select = "."/> (<xsl:value-of select = "count(../n1:entry)"/>)
This is the javascript for the highlight/undoHighlight functions: function highlight(link) { undoHighlight(link) link.style.background = "red"; } function undoHighlight(link) { link.style.background = "white"; } Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

  • Where are classpath, path and pathelement documented in Ant version 1.8.0?

    - by Robert Menteer
I'm looking over the documentation that comes with Apache Ant version 1.8.0 and can't find where classpath, path and pathelement are documented. I've found a page that describes path like structures but it doesn't list the valid attributes or nested elements for these. Another thing I can't find in the documentation is a description of the relationships between filelist, fileset, patternset and path and how to convert them back and forth. For instance there has to be an easier way to compile only those classes in one package while removing all class dependencies on the package classes and update documentation. <fileset id = "java.source.set" dir = "${src}"> <include name = "**/Package/*.java" /> </fileset> <pathconvert property = "java.source.list" refid = "java.source.set" pathsep = ","> <globmapper from = "${src}/*.@{src.extent}" to = "*.class" /> </pathconvert> <depend srcdir = "${src}" destdir = "${build}" includes = "${java.source.list}" closure = "yes" /> <fileset id = "class.uptodate.set" dir = "${build}"> <include name = "**/*.class" /> </fileset> <pathconvert property = "java.uptodate.list" refid = "class.uptodate.set" pathsep = ","> <globmapper from="${build}/*.class" to="*.java" /> </pathconvert> <javac srcdir = "${src}" destdir = "${build}" classpathref = "compile.classpath" includes = "${java.source.list}" excludes = "${java.uptodate.list}"/> <dirset dir = "${build}" includes = "class.dir.list" /> <jdepend outputfile = "${docs}/jdepend-report.txt"> <classpath refid = "compile.classpath" /> <classpath location = "${build}" /> <classespath> </classespath> <exclude name = "java.*" /> <exclude name = "javax.*" /> </jdepend> Notice there's a number of conversions between filesets, paths and comma separated list just to get the proper 'type' required for the different ant tasks. Is there a way to simplify this while still processing the fewest files in a complex directory structure?

  • Why Sql not bringing back results unless I set varchar size?

    - by Tom
I've got an SQL script that fetches results based on the colour passed to it, but unless I set the size of the variable defined as a varchar to (50) no results are returned. If I use: like ''+@Colour+'%' then it works but I don't really want to use it in case it brings back results I don't need or want. The column FieldValue has a type of Varchar(Max) (which can't be changed as this field can store different things). It is part of aspdotnetstorefront package so I can't really change the tables or field types. This doesn't work: declare @Col VarChar set @Col = 'blu' select * from dbo.MetaData as MD where MD.FieldValue = @Colour But this does work: declare @Col VarChar (50) set @Col = 'blu' select * from dbo.MetaData as MD where MD.FieldValue = @Colour The code is used in the following context, but should work either way <query name="Products" rowElementName="Variant"> <sql> select * from dbo.MetaData as MD where MD.Colour = @Colour </sql> <queryparam paramname="@ProductID" paramtype="runtime" requestparamname="pID" sqlDataType="int" defvalue="0" validationpattern="^\d{1,10}$" /> <queryparam paramname="@Colour" paramtype="runtime" requestparamname="pCol" sqlDataType="varchar" defvalue="" validationpattern=""/> </query> Any Ideas?

What should I do with my python script ? Thank you very much

  • JAXB Locator - missing dependency?

    - by Wouter Lievens
On my current project we generate JAXB beans from an XSD file. We need line number information on the beans (beyond XSD validation errors!) so I used the -Xlocator option specified here: http://java.sun.com/webservices/docs/1.6/jaxb/xjc.html However, I'm missing the Locator class. The jar file referenced to on that six-year old page can't be found anywhere, as I don't see a download for JWSDP on any site at all. Is XJC dead? Should I be using something else?

  • The node to be inserted is from a different document context

    - by BDotA
When I am Calling AppendChild, I get this error: The node to be inserted is from a different document context." static public XmlNode XMLNewChildNode(XmlNode oParent, string sName, string sNamespaceURI, string sNodeType) { XmlNode oNode = moDoc.CreateNode(sNodeType, sName, sNamespaceURI); oParent.AppendChild(oNode); return oNode; } this is a code that is converted from its VB 6.0 version which was this: please ignore the optional parametes, I have overloads for them in C# version: Public Function XMLNewChildNode(ByVal oParent As IXMLDOMNode, ByVal sName As String, Optional ByVal sNamespaceURI As String = "", Optional ByVal sNodeType As String = "element") As IXMLDOMNode '**************** DESCRIPTION ******************* 'Create a new Child Node for passed Parent. '***************** VARIABLES ******************** Dim oNode As IXMLDOMNode '************************************************ Set oNode = moDoc.createNode(sNodeType, sName, sNamespaceURI) Call oParent.appendChild(oNode) Set XMLNewChildNode = oNode End Function so anything is different in VB 6.0 and C# for working with XMLs?

  • Why doesn't XmlSerializer support Dictionary?

    - by theburningmonk
Just curious as to why Dictionary is not supported by XmlSerializer? You can get around it easily enough by using DataContractSerializer and writing the object to a XmlTextWriter, but what are the characteristics of a Dictionary that makes it difficult for a XmlSerializer to deal with considering it's really an array of KeyValuePairs. In fact, you can pass an IDictionary<TKey, TItem> to a method expecting an IEnumerable<KeyValuePairs<TKey, ITem>>.

  • How to decode a html string using xslt

    - by John ClearZ
I am trying to style an rss feed using xslt. I want to display an image that is stored in the tag on the feed. The problem is it is encoded to display as text on the page instead of being rendered. The following is an example of part of the string. 1).
<img src="http://buavhw.blu.livefilestore.com/y1ppCokLxFJSG2cmyPdvg... I had to add extra coding to the string above to get it to appear properly here. The string below is how it appears when I paste it directly into the text box. 2).
<img src="http://buavhw.blu.livefilestore.com/y1ppCokLxFJSG2cmyPdvg... If I copy and paste it again from the preview window it only then becomes the following string. 3).
<img src="http://buavhw.blu.livefilestore.com/y1ppCokLxFJSG2cmyPdvg...

  • Delete / Remove node from XPathNodeIterator, given an XPath

    - by RymdPung
First of all, if someone has a different, perhaps shorter (or better), solution to the problem, it's welcome as well. I'm trying to "simply" remove (almost) duplicate elements in XSLT. There's some (metadata) nodes i don't want to include when comparing, and i couldn't figure out how do do that in XSLT so thought i'd extend it with a function removing these nodes. Like so: <xsl:for-each select="abx:removeNodes(d/df600|d/df610|d/df611|d/df630|d/df650|d/df651|d/df655, '*[@key="i1" or @key="i2" or key="db"]')"> <xsl:if test="not(node()=preceding-sibling::*)"> blah </xsl:if> </xsl:for-each> And the extension, which doesn't work so well... (C#) public XPathNodeIterator removeNodes(XPathNodeIterator p_NodeIterator, String removeXPath) { Logger Logger = new Logger("xslt"); Logger.Log("removeNodes(removeXPath={0}):", removeXPath); foreach (XPathNavigator CurrentNode in p_NodeIterator) { Logger.Log("removeNodes(): CurrentNode.OuterXml={0}.", CurrentNode.OuterXml); foreach (XPathNavigator CurrentSubNode in CurrentNode.Select(removeXPath)) { Logger.Log("removeNodes(): CurrentSubNode.OuterXml={0}.", CurrentSubNode.OuterXml); // How do i delete this node!? //CurrentSubNode.DeleteSelf(); } } return p_NodeIterator; } My initial approach using 'CurrentSubNode.DeleteSelf();' doesn't work because it gets confused and loses its position in the XPathNavigator, causing it to only delete the first item it finds using "removeXPath". Something like a DeleteAndMoveNext() would be nice but there seems to be no such method... Example data: <df650> <df650 key="i1"> </df650> <df650 key="i2">0</df650> <df650 key="a">foo</df650> <df650 key="x">bar</df650> <df650 key="db">someDB</df650> <df650 key="id">b2</df650> <df650 key="dsname">someDS</df650> </df650> ..and then another identical node (if you ignore the meta fields; db,id,dsname). <df650> <df650 key="i1"> </df650> <df650 key="i2">0</df650> <df650 key="a">foo</df650> <df650 key="x">bar</df650> <df650 key="db">someOtherDB</df650> <df650 key="id">b2</df650> <df650 key="dsname">someOtherDS</df650> </df650> The result should be... <df650> <df650 key="i1"> </df650> <df650 key="i2">0</df650> <df650 key="a">foo</df650> <df650 key="x">bar</df650> </df650>

  • Get the XPath to an XElement?

    - by Chris
I've got an XElement deep within a document. Given the XElement (and XDocument?), is there an extension method to get its full (i.e. absolute, e.g. /root/item/element/child) XPath? E.g. myXElement.GetXPath()? EDIT: Okay, looks like I overlooked something very important. Whoops! The index of the element needs to be taken into account. See my last answer for the proposed corrected solution.

  • what dataprovider in flex (aside from ArrayCollection) will work for single, non-repeating XML nodes

    - by Rees
    hello, i asked this question before but haven't been able to get an answer.. i get the following error when i retrieve an XML that only has 1 node (no repeating nodes) from a PHP page and i try to store in an ArrayCollection. -When I have MORE than 1 "name" nodes...i do NOT get an error. TypeError: Error #1034: Type Coercion failed: cannot convert "XXXXXX" to mx.collections.ArrayCollection. this error occurs as the line of code: myList= e.result.list.name; I'm using this ArrayCollection as a dataprovider for a Component -is there an alternative I can use that will take BOTH single and repeating nodes as well as work as a dataprovider? Thanks in advance! code: [Bindable] private var myList:ArrayCollection= new ArrayCollection(); private function getList(e:Event):void{ var getStudyLoungesService:HTTPService = new HTTPService(); getStuffService.url = "website.com/asdf.php"; getStuffService.addEventListener(ResultEvent.RESULT, onGetList); getStuffService.send(); } private function onGetList(e:ResultEvent):void{ myList= e.result.list.name; }

  • Is there a declarative language for data definitions?

    - by Jekke
Reading about WPF and thinking about my application's data store at the same time led me to wonder if there are any languages or tools that allow you to define relational data in a declarative way? A shallow Google search suggests no such thing exists. Yet it seems so obviously useful. The kind of tool I have in mind would declaratively describe (at least) entities, relationships and views is a platform-agnostic way that would act as an abstraction layer between data-driven applications and their datastores. Does any such tool exist?

  • How to add line breaks in RSS feeds?

    - by Candidasa
I'm building my own custom RSS feed in PHP. I want the tag to contain line breaks to make the text more readable. However, I can't seem to figure out how to do it correctly. No matter what I try some RSS reader interprets it incorrectly. Is there some standard best way to add a line-break in and RSS 2.0 feed? I have tried "\n", which works in NetNewsWire on the Mac, but gets ignored by the built-in Safari browser's RSS reader. I have tried
, which works in the Safari RSS reader, but results in all the text after the being cut off in NetNewsWire.

  • XML Parseing Error when serving a PDF

    - by Andy
    I'm trying to serve a pdf file from a database in ASP.NET using an Http Handler, but every time I go to the page I get an error XML Parsing Error: no element found Location: https://ucc489/rc/NoteFileHandler.ashx?noteId=1,msdsId=3 Line Number 1, Column 1: ^ Here is my HttpHandler code: public class NoteFileHandler : IHttpHandler { public void ProcessRequest(HttpContext context) { if (context.Request.QueryString.HasKeys()) { if (context.Request.QueryString["noteId"] != null && context.Request.QueryString["msdsId"] != null) { string nId = context.Request.QueryString["noteId"]; string mId = context.Request.QueryString["msdsId"]; DataTable noteFileDt = App_Models.Notes.GetNoteFile(nId, mId); if (noteFileDt.Rows.Count > 0) { try { context.Response.Clear(); context.Response.AddHeader("content-disposition", "attachment;filename=" + noteFileDt.Rows[0][0] + ".pdf"); context.Response.ContentType = "application/pdf"; byte[] file = (byte[])noteFileDt.Rows[0][1]; context.Response.BinaryWrite(file); context.Response.End(); } catch { context.Response.ContentType = "text/plain"; context.Response.Write("File Not Found"); context.Response.StatusCode = 404; } } } } } public bool IsReusable { get { return false; } } } Is there anything else I need to do (server configuration/whatever) to get my pdf file to load?
