    Hi I have enabled mod_rewrite in my Xampp apache. When I run my php info page, I saw mod_rewrite under Loaded Modules. So I think it's enabled. Then I create a folder clean-url under htdocs. Inside clean-url folder I have 3 files 1) index.php here I put Welcome 2) Test. php 3) .htaccess Here I put RewriteEngine On RewriteRule ^([a-z]+)/([a-z-]+)$ /$1/$2.php [L] I want to run the index page, and by clicking on that hyper link I want to display the test.php page with URL mydomain/clean-url/test I know I am in a wrong path. Does any one help me? Or correct me? ALso i don't know any idea about url rewriting and .htaccess. Please help me.

Can I optimize this behavior (reading once per day or session)? maybe to store a global variable and check the update date?

I have an ArrayList of custom objects that have the following properties: FileName FilePath CurrentFolder TopLevelFolder I then need to do a BinarySearch (or some other quick search) on the FileName property on all the objects in the ArrayList in .NET. In other words, I need to find the object in the ArrayList with the same FileName as the one I'm searching on.   • How to verify if two tables have exactly the same data?

    Basically we have one table (original table) and it is backed up into another table (backup table); thus the two tables have exactly the same schema. At the beginning both tables (original table and backup table) contains exactly the same set of data. After sometime for some reason I need to verify whether dataset in the original table has changed or not. In order to do this I have to compare the dataset in the original table against the backup table. Let's say the original table has the following schema: `create table LemmasMapping ( lemma1 int, lemma2 int, index ix_lemma1 using btree (lemma1), index ix_lemma2 using btree (lemma2) )` How could I achieve the dataset comparision? Update: the table does not have a primary key. It simply stores mappings between two ids.

  • pitfalls with mixing storage engines in mysql with django?

    I'm running a django system over mysql in amazon's cloud, and the database default is innodb. But now I want to put a fulltext index on a couple of tables for searching, which evidently requires myisam. The obvious solution is to just tell mysql to ALTER TABLE to myisam, but are there going to be any issues with that? One that comes to mind is that I'll have to remember to do that any time I build a new version of the database, which should theoretically be rare, but there doesn't seem to be a way to tell django to please set the storage engine at the table level. I guess I could write a migration (we use south). Any other things I might be missing? What could possibly go wrong?

    I'm having an issue when I try to nest pound signs in my ColdFusion code. I keep getting the following error message: Invalid CFML construct found on line 57 at column 26. ColdFusion was looking at the following text: # Here is the code: <cfloop index="i" from="1" to="12"> <cfset needRecord.setNeed#i#(#form["need#i#"]#) /> </cfloop> If I run the loop outside the cfset tag like this: <cfloop index="i" from="1" to="12"> needRecord.setNeed#i#(#form["need#i#"]#) </cfloop> The code runs and generates what I would like to generate within the cfset tag. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

And this works: RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php/$1 [L] This is what Apache's document say: The variables SCRIPT_FILENAME and REQUEST_FILENAME contain the same value - the value of the filename field of the internal request_rec structure of the Apache server. The first name is the commonly known CGI variable name while the second is the appropriate counterpart of REQUEST_URI (which contains the value of the uri field of request_rec). Anyone can figure out why? Appreciate!

    Suppose I want to match "abc" within the string s only if it occurs exactly at index n. int n = 2; Console.WriteLine(new Regex("abc").IsMatch("01abc", n)); // true Console.WriteLine(new Regex("abc").IsMatch("0123abc", n)); // true (but want false) Console.WriteLine(new Regex("^abc").IsMatch("01abc", n)); // false (but want true) Seems that the only way to achieve this without using Substring on the input is something like this: var match = new Regex("abc").Match("0123abc", n); Console.WriteLine(match.Success && match.Index == n); This isn't too bad, except that when there is no match at the starting offset then the entire input will be scanned unnecessarily, which is probably slower for most regexes than actually creating a substring prior to the match. (I didn't time it though). Am I missing an obvious overload or setting that would restrict a match to the supplied offset only?

    I've taken a look into OpenJDK's sources of CopyOnWriteArrayList and it seems that all write operations are protected by the same lock and read operations are not protected at all. As I understand, under JMM all accesses to a variable (both read and write) should be protected by lock or reordering effects may occur. For example, set(int, E) method contains these lines (under lock): /* 1 */ int len = elements.length; /* 2 */ Object[] newElements = Arrays.copyOf(elements, len); /* 3 */ newElements[index] = element; /* 4 */ setArray(newElements); The get(int) method, on the other hand, only does return get(getArray(), index);. In my understanding of JMM, this means that get may observe the array in an inconsistent state if statements 1-4 are reordered like 1-2(new)-4-2(copyOf)-3. Do I understand JMM incorrectly or is there any other explanations on why CopyOnWriteArrayList is thread-safe?

    _stuckVertices is an array of pointers and I would like to update one index of that array without using _stuckVertices[ (row * _cols) + column ] 3 times. The reason it is an array of pointers is because the vast majority of the time the pointer will be NULL. The following code works but I need to dereference a each time I use it: void Cloth::stickPoint(int column, int row) { Anchor **a = &_stuckVertices[ (row * _cols) + column ]; if (!*a) *a = new Anchor(this, column, row); (*a)->stick(); } I originally had it written like this, but the _stuckVertices pointer doesn't get updated: void Cloth::stickPoint(int column, int row) { Anchor *a = _stuckVertices[ (row * _cols) + column ]; if (!a) a = new Anchor(this, column, row); a->stick(); } Is there a way to write Anchor *a = _stuckVertices[ index ] so that a is like an alias into the array that I can update, or is something like the first piece of code how I should do this?     I developed a web app that responds with data in the format as specified by the client in the HTTP Accept Headers. Everything worked fine while using Firefox, but when I wanted to check my CSS / HTML on Chrome and IE, both of them wanted to download the index page, as if it's an unknown content type. After some research I found this article, which states that IE sends out a lot of crud in it's HTTP Accept headers, amongst others a list of image/* content types right at the start. This caused my web app to try to send the index page as an image/jpeg. So how do I know when to ignore and when to use the Accept Headers?

  • How to make windows media player go to previous song in playlist?

    Hi, everyone! I am writing a simple Windows app in c++, that will be able to send commands to windows media player. My problem is that I want my app to move to the previous song in the playlist. IWMPControls::previous() seems to do the job, but its behavior differs from what is written in msdn. In fact this function rewinds current media to the beginning and then (if current position is less than 2-3 seconds) it switches to the previous song. I would like to implement two different buttons (please, don't ask me why :)) - one for rewinding to the beginning, and one - to moving to previous song. Is there any easy way to do this through IWMPControls (or any other WMP-related COM interface)? p.s. I could handle this if I could get the position (index) of the current song in the list. But as far as I read MSDN, it seems to me that there is no easy way to get the current item index from playlist...

    Hello! I am looking for a way to perform fulltext search on the DOM tree with JS. In two words, I would like to retrieve the list of text nodes which contain a given string. I've tried mootools' Element.getElements ( ':contains[string]' ) but I can't get it to work with strings containing whitespace. I'm thinking about simply indexing all text nodes and checking against each node for the string being searched for, but, in my project, there's no way of telling when the DOM updates in order to maintain such an index up-to-date. Any better ideas? Thanks

  • FreeText Query is slow - includes TOP and Order By

    The Product table has 700K records in it. The query: SELECT TOP 1 ID, Name FROM Product WHERE contains(Name, '"White Dress"') ORDER BY DateMadeNew desc takes about 1 minute to run. There is an non-clustered index on DateMadeNew and FreeText index on Name. If I remove TOP 1 or Order By - it takes less then 1 second to run.     Here's my index action in the books controller: http://pastebin.com/XdtGRQKV Here's the view for the action i just mentioned: http://pastebin.com/nQFy400m Here's the result without being logged in: http://i.imgur.com/rQoiw.jpg Here's the result when i'm logged in with the user 'admin': http://i.imgur.com/E1CUr.jpg So the problem is that, in the view, before line 25 the 'user' variable seems to be empty ( or not loaded), and after line 25 the variable 'user' has the expected values. I have tried initializing a variable in the index method of the books controller but get exactly the same results. Thanks in advance! BTW had to make the links text because of stackoverflow limit.
