• How to set up spf records to send mail from google hosted apps to gmail addresses

  Hi there, I'm trying to work out why email I send from one domain I own is rejected by another that I own, and while I think it may be related to how I've setup spf records, I'm not sure what steps I need to take to fix it. On all previous places where I've been working they've had some sort of local firewall installed on each and every workstation - but here I've been told not to activate it because it is not necessary since we're already behind a HW Firewall. To me this seem a bit naïve, but I cannot emphasise it. I always thought a local firewall was good practice, ie. if something managed to come through the hw firewall there might be a slight chance other computers on the lan would block the internal threath. We got free access to internet and we got a virus checker installed.

  I have bought a domain from 123-reg.co.uk and have successfully pointed it to the IP Address of my Linode VPS so that going to the domain serves up the pages from the Apache server running on the VPS. The instructions I followed to do this are : Now, I am trying to get the domain's mail handled by Google Apps for Business. I have tried updating the MX records at Linode following this tutorial : http://library.linode.com/email/google-mail And also followed the instructions to update the MX Records in 123-reg's control panel : I am slightly confused now. Where should I be adding the MX records? In my domain registrar's control panel or in Linode's VPS? Both have options to update the MX records.

  This is driving me absolutely insane. I want to start the page numbering on page 5 and for it to continue to the end of the document. I've tried using page/section breaks but that didn't work. I've also tried pressing ctrl + F9 while in the footer and adding it in the format { if{ page } < 5 "{ page *roman }" "{ page }" } but that doesn't work either. Does anyone have any ideas? • Have to enter google sites through second-level domain

  I'm having the same problem as this guy. I own two domains hosted on google sites, mydomain.com and mydomain.net. When I go to mydomain.com, it redirects me to the site located at www.mydomain.com (this is the desired behavior). This used to also work on mydomain.net, but now when I go to mydomain.net, I get a Google 404. To see the content, I have to go to www.mydomain.net. As far as I can tell, the DNS settings and Google apps settings for both domains are identical. Does anybody have any idea about what could be happening?

  I need to be able to export user name or email address (doesn't matter which), company (from the company field under the organization tab in a user account of the exchange admin console), and license type (e.g. exchange online e1, exchange online kiosk etc...) I am able to export both values in two statements into two separate files but that doesn't do me much good. • Associating multiple data with a single entry in Open Office Base

  I'm trying to build a database that I can use to track prices of groceries on certain dates. My problem is that I cannot figure out how to have a single entry associate with multiple data. For example, carrots. The index would be carrots. Then, a few categorizing fields (ie, Produce|Vegetable) Then, I can enter a price, date that the price was valid, store that was selling for said price, etc. And the next time I buy carrots, I can just add a new set of pricing data that would be associated with the original carrots entry. I know very little about database building, so if anyone has something I could just modify, I would greatly appreciate it. Alternatively, a step by step tutorial would be great.

• Low framerate on background apps

  My problem is that when a game is running in the foreground, in Full Screen mode, any applications on my second monitor (such as youtube videos, videos, not app specific) drop their frame-rate to about 2-3 FPS. It seems like some sort of power management option that I can't track down. As far as I can tell, it's not due to the GPU not being able to keep up. For instance, my PC can play League of Legends at about 280FPS when the framerate is uncapped. • Cannot Access Web Interface on HP 2510G

  I am currently setting up a new infrastructure with HP 2510s as edge switches and an HP E5406 as the main switch. I also have a DHCP and DNS server running on the same network. When i first set up one of my 2510 switches, I gave it a static IP through the console and then went to the web interface to continue my configuration. Later, I realized that I assigned it the wrong IP address, so i went through the web interface and changed the IP address to the correct one. Now, I can't access the web interface. I can telnet to the switch on the new IP address, but the web interface will not load. If I switch from static IP to DHCP, it loads the web interface. Any ideas on what could be causing the web server in the 2510 not to load with the new static IP address?

  I have four different Macs that I use from time to time, and on each of them I notice a constant: adding more items to AppleScript Editor's Library window slows performance of mundane operations (opening a dictionary, switching between Library window and editor window, scrolling in the Library window, etc). In Leopard, I noticed little to no latency in opening a dictionary in Script Editor, but Snow Leopard's AppleScript Editor kills my productivity by making me wait on it with most UI interactions with the Library window.

  I am trying to setup the TFS automated deploys. But I keep getting the following error message when running the deploy. It appears that I have a service called "Web Management Service", but the error message says that I need "We Deploy Agent Service". I tried installing Web Deploy 2.0, but the server said that I already had this installed. What can I do to fix this problem? Error Code: ERROR_DESTINATION_NOT_REACHABLE Could not connect to the destination computer ("myServer"). On the destination computer, make sure that Web Deploy is installed and that the required process ("Web Deployment Agent Service") is started. --Update-- Looks like the Web Deployment agent is not installed by default. I had to re-install MSDeploy, select Change or Custom, then add the Web Deploy Agent service. Now the deploy works correctly.

  I have a VM that I use to do all my ThinApps, Once I have done my application and its built I copy just the bin folder to a server which has a share, I then create a shortcut to the program exe on users desktops. This all seems to work ok. Firstly is this correct? If so, how then do I apply a service pack to that application after the ThinApp VM has been reverted to a base image, I have corel draw which i have a service pack for but it wont intall it as its saying it cant find the package installed on the computer. I have Thinreg batch file so have included corel into that and the program appears in the program list. I have the sandbox redirected to the server share mentioned earlier into seperate user folders when the user logs in. Obvisouly once i have done a App I revert to a previous snapshop so my thinapp vm is back to base image, so the corel install is lost. Sorry if im missing something very simple. Is its a case if you have an exe/msp you have to reinstall the whole app again and start over, Thanks for any help.

  Performance and stability problem with Android 4.3 in VM. Tried with x64 and x86 System. VirtualBox V4.3.2 in use. Android could be installed on x86 only. But there it seems to be successfully, using the "Linux 2.2" template on VirtualBox. 1024MB RAM and 2GB Harddisk defined. Some times Android browser is crashing and closing. In all cases stuff like "Skype" and "Plats vs Zombies" does never startup after installing. Crashes directly. "Plats vs Zombies 2" is not able to install. Is there any way of gettings such stuff work?

  I'm using Windows 8 Pro 64 bit quite a while now. My account is the only Administrator account on the PC. There are 2 other standard (and local) accounts. I've noticed that if I install an app from Windows Store, that app is only available from my start screen. Also when I uninstall an app that's common for all users (e.g., Finance), it only uninstalled from my account. I want to install app and want it to be available for all users. When I'll uninstall an app, it should be removed for all users. No other user should have access to it. Just like installing/uninstalling programs on previous versions of Windows. How can I do that?

• Automator apps with different icons that persist upon saving

  Automator allows to save a workflow as an application bundle. It uses an Automator specific icon for doing this. I want to change this icon (using different icons for different workflows). I can do this by going into the application bundle and change the icon with Icon Composer. The disadvantage of this solution is that if I open the application bundle in Automator and save it, it uses the default icon again. Is there a way to change the icon for good?

  Yesterday I installed OpenOffice on my Linux server. But when I go to run it through the command line, it says command cannot be found. I've also tried other things like OOWriter, etc. Has anyone had this problem?
