  • SharePoint Custom Web Service not working for SSL configuration

    Hi all, I did developed a custom SharePoint Web Service . It is working fine when using http. But when we configure SSL(https) , it is not working and throwing the below error. Request for the permission of type 'Microsoft.SharePoint.Security.SharePointPermission, Microsoft.SharePoint.Security, Version=12.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=71e9bcee11233hj' failed. Does anyone came accross a similar situation or any ideas on why this is happening? Thanks Carol

    A non-hypothetical but abstracted situation: I have a domain www.foo.com, from which I'm making an AJAX POST to beta.foo.com. Examining the XHR object, I see a response header of 200 OK, but no response text - I even get a response 12B long, which is the exact response (a 12-character string) that I'm expecting - but the response text is blank. If this is a cross-domain issue, why am I getting 200 OK, and better yet - why am I seeing the PHP functions fire on the beta.foo.com side - yet getting no response?

    I'm trying to write a piece of code that will allow me to establish a TCP connection from within a DLL file. Here's my situation: I have a ruby application that needs to be able to send and receive data over a socket, but I can not access the native ruby socket methods because of the environment in which it will be running. I can however access a DLL file and run the functions within that, so I figured I would create a wrapper for winsock. Unfortunately, attempting to take a piece of code that should connect to a TCP socket in a normal C++ application throws a slew of LNK2019 errors that I can not for the life of me resolve.     Hello, I have a column with pipe separated values such as: '23|12.1| 450|30|9|78|82.5|92.1|120|185|52|11' I want to parse this column to fill a table with 12 corresponding columns: month1, month2, month3...month12. So month1 will have the value 23, month2 the value 12.1 etc... Is there a way to parse it by a loop or delimeter instead of having to separate one value at a time using substr? Thanks.

I'm using jquery to add a class to each list item according to its index (for the purpose of columnizing portions of each list). The MultiTrigger at the end of the template defines a mouse over effect for not selected TabItems. Now I thought the change in color for this mouse over effect looks a bit brash so let´s animate it with a ColorAnimation. But don´t count the chickens before they hatch - everything I tried didn´t work. Maybe I oversee the obvious - but how to achieve this feat ? Thanks in advance banzai
