I wanted to also convert to an mp4 format that will "stream" to an iphone and blackberry, or allowed to be downloaded to either, for later viewing. Can someone post a working ffmpeg line to accomplish this task? If I execute this statement many times using only one day (i.e. "BETWEEN '2013-11-01' AND '2013-11-01'" and then "BETWEEN '2013-11-02' AND '2013-11-02'"... etc ) it works perfectly, but if it is executed using the dates "BETWEEN '2013-11-01' AND '2013-11-03'" the results on CURRENUSRTABLE.STATE are 3, which is wrong, it should be 5. I think the problem relies on "CASE CURRENUSRTABLE.STATE" when uses "HISTORYTABLE.TRDATE BETWEEN '2013-11-01' AND '2013-11-03'", because it reads the STATE 9 times which has not been commited yet until the statement ends. Query OK, 9 rows affected (0.00 sec) Rows matched: 9 Changed: 9 Warnings: 0 Maybe the solution is very simple, but unfortunately I've not much practice on MySQL since I've worked with it less than 2 months :) Is there any suggestions to solve this issue? PD: MySQL version is 4.1.22, I know is very old an EOL, unfortunately I have to make these statements on this version. Thanks!

  Hi all- I'm getting some really bizarre stuff while trying to merge multiple data frames. Help! I need to merge a bunch of data frames by the columns 'RID' and 'VISCODE'. Here is an example of what it looks like: d1 = data.frame(ID = sample(9, 1:100), RID = c(2, 5, 7, 9, 12), VISCODE = rep('bl', 5), value1 = rep(16, 5)) d2 = data.frame(ID = sample(9, 1:100), RID = c(2, 2, 2, 5, 5, 5, 7, 7, 7), VISCODE = rep(c('bl', 'm06', 'm12'), 3), value2 = rep(100, 9)) d3 = data.frame(ID = sample(9, 1:100), RID = c(2, 2, 2, 5, 5, 5, 9,9,9), VISCODE = rep(c('bl', 'm06', 'm12'), 3), value3 = rep("a", 9), values3.5 = rep("c", 9)) d4 = data.frame(ID =sample(8, 1:100), RID = c(2, 2, 5, 5, 5, 7, 7, 7, 9), VISCODE = c(c('bl', 'm12'), rep(c('bl', 'm06', 'm12'), 2), 'bl'), value4 = rep("b", 9)) dataList = list(d1, d2, d3, d4) I looked at the answers to the question titled "Merge several data.frames into one data.frame with a loop." The really weird thing is that using this works: dataList = list(demog[1:50,], neurobat[1:50,], apoe[1:50,], mmse[1:50,], faq[1:47, ]) And using this fails: dataList = list(demog[1:50,], neurobat[1:50,], apoe[1:50,], mmse[1:50,], faq[1:48, ]) As far as I can tell, there is nothing special about row 48 of faq. Likewise, using this works: dataList = list(demog[1:50,], neurobat[1:50,], apoe[1:50,], mmse[1:50,], pdx[1:47, ]) And using this fails: dataList = list(demog[1:50,], neurobat[1:50,], apoe[1:50,], mmse[1:50,], pdx[1:48, ]) Row 48 in faq and row 48 in pdx have the same values for RID and VISCODE, the same value for EXAMDATE (something I'm not matching on) and different values for ID (another thing I'm not matching on). Besides the matching RID and VISCODE, I see anything special about them. They don't share any other variable names. This same scenario occurs elsewhere in the data without problems. To add icing on the complication cake, this doesn't even work: dataList = list(demog[1:50,], neurobat[1:50,], apoe[1:50,], mmse[1:50,], faq[1:48, 2:3]) where columns 2 and 3 are "RID" and "VISCODE". 48 isn't even the magic number because this works: dataList = list(demog[1:500,], neurobat[1:500,], apoe[1:500,], mmse[1:457,]) while using mmse[1:458, ] fails. I can't seem to come up with test data that causes the problem. Has anyone had this problem before? Any better ideas on how to merge? Thanks for your help! Jasmine

• Strange behaviour when simply adding strings in Lazarus - FreePascal

  The program has several "encryption" algorithms. This one should blockwise reverse the input. "He|ll|o " becomes "o |ll|He" (block length of 2). I add two strings, in this case appending the result string to the current "block" string and making that the result. When I add the result first and then the block it works fine and gives me back the original string. But when i try to reverse the order it just gives me the the last "block".   I frequently read that it is possible to remove individual ip-addresses from SPAMHAUS blacklisting. OK. Here is 91.205.43.252 (91.205.43.251 - 91.205.43.253) used by back3.stopspamers.com (back2.stopspamers.com, back1.stopspamers.com) in geo-cluster on dedicated servers in Switzerland. The queries: http://www.spamhaus.org/query/bl?ip=91.205.43.251 http://www.spamhaus.org/query/bl?ip=91.205.43.252 http://www.spamhaus.org/query/bl?ip=91.205.43.253 tell that: 91.205.43.251 - 91.205.43.253 are all listed in the SBL80808 blacklist And SBL80808 blacklist tells: "Ref: SBL80808 91.205.40.0/22 is listed on the Spamhaus Block List (SBL) 01-Apr-2010 05:52 GMT | SR04 Spamming and now seems this place is involved in other fraud" 91.205.43.251-91.205.43.253 are not listed amongst criminal ip-addresses individually but there is no way to remove it individually from black listing. The company using that dedicated server is not an ISP or RIPE representative to treat these issues. Even if to treat it, it is just a matter of pressing "Report spam" on internet to be again blacklisted, this is fruitless approach. Here is 91.205.43.252 (91.205.43.251 - 91.205.43.253) used by back3.stopspamers.com (back2.stopspamers.com, back1.stopspamers.com) in geo-cluster on dedicated servers in Switzerland. The queries: http://www.spamhaus.org/query/bl?ip=91.205.43.251 http://www.spamhaus.org/query/bl?ip=91.205.43.252 http://www.spamhaus.org/query/bl?ip=91.205.43.253 tell that: 91.205.43.251 - 91.205.43.253 are all listed in the SBL80808 blacklist And SBL80808 blacklist tells: "Ref: SBL80808 91.205.40.0/22 is listed on the Spamhaus Block List (SBL) 01-Apr-2010 05:52 GMT | SR04 Spamming and now seems this place is involved in other fraud" 91.205.43.251-91.205.43.253 are not listed amongst criminal ip-addresses individually but there is no way to remove it individually from black listing. • boost::lambda bind expressions can't get bind to string's empty() to work

  Hi, I am trying to get the below code snippet to compile. But it fails with: error C2665: 'boost::lambda::function_adaptor::apply' : none of the 8 overloads could convert all the argument types. Sepcifying the return type when calling bind does not help. Any idea what I am doing wrong?   Hi all, a bit of advice required here :). I recently graduated(Computer Science), and need to decide a path to take programming/technology wise. I have knowledge of Java, C, SQL most of it is university level stuff. I work daily with PHP/SQL building web apps. Which language / technology would you advise me to learn. I am very interested in Database management, GIS etc. Web dev is also very interesting to me. It is all a bit confusing since i would like to learn something that will have a value at least in the near future. I would like to have some ideas on which language/technology is god choice in order to be marketable.

• When to use try/catch

  I'm always finding myself wanting to put a try/catch around the lets say Business Layer methods. But I feel though that I don't need a try/catch if I'm simply rethrowing it up to the Presentation Layer. Is that right? I should not be rethrowing an exception from code that's wrapped in a try/catch in a BL method and should be letting the caller which would be from the Presentation Layer code be using a try/catch to handle it there? The BL method will throw an error without the try/catch anyway..the compiler will. So it wouldn't make sense to use a try/catch in a BL method that's to be consumed by a layer higher up correct?

  Is it considered an overkill for console application to be design like MVC , MVP or N tier architecture? If not which is more common and if you can link me to simple example of it. I want to implement a tic tac toe game in console application. I have a solution which hold two projects: TicTacToeBusinessLogic (Class library project) and TicTacToeConsoleApplication (Console application project) to represent the view logic. In the TicTacToeConsoleApplication I've Program.cs class which holds the main entry point (public static void Main). Now I face a problem. I want the game to handle its own game flow so I can: Create new GameManager class (from BL) but this causing the view to directly know the BL part. So I'm a little confused how to write it in an acceptable way. Should I use delegates? Please show me a simple example.

  I'm a total newbie to Ubuntu and recently decided to give it a go on my early 2009 Alu MacBook. For about a week now I've been trying to get the brightness controls to work.
