  • lwp-rget changes file format automatically to .bin?

    Im trying to recursively get an html page to get everything that's there and save it to my directory. Lwp-rget from perl allows me to do this but I'm having the problem that its getting all the files and changing them from .rpm, .xml, .html, etc to .bin. I've been trying to maybe use the --keepext=application/xml or any type but it continues to save the file as .bin. Any way I can stop that auto formatting? Thanks.

Now users could allegedly download a much smaller installer, and only install the client tools without having to install an instance of SQL Server Express. While the latter is true, the former remains a pipe dream.     Im using a axAcroPDFLib control taken from a Adobe Reader 9 installation to show and print user PDF documents within my C# window forms application. Everything works just fine untill the appication close... It throws the following error: The instruction at "0x0700609c" referenced memory at "0x00000014".   • Getting past dates in HP-UX with ksh

    Ok, so I need to translate a script from a nice linux & bash configuration to ksh in hp-ux. Each and every command expects a different syntax and i want to kill myself. But let's skip the rant. This is part of my script anterior=`date +"%Y%0m" -d '1 month ago'` I basically need to get a past date in format 201002. Never mind the thing that, in the new environment, %0m means "no zeroes", while actually in the other one it means "yes, please put that zero on my string". It doesn't even accept the "1 month ago". I've read the man date for HP-UX and it seems you just can't do date arithmetic with it. I've been looking around for a while but all i find are lengthy solutions. I can't quite understand that such a typical administrative task like adding dates needs so much fuss. Isn't there a way to convert my one-liner to, well, i don't know, another one? Come on, i've seen proposed solutions that used bc, had thirty plus lines and magic number all over the script. The simplest solutions seem to use perl... but i don't know how to modify them, as they're quite arcane. Thanks!

  • Qt::X11BypassWindowManagerHint functionality on Windows

    Hi I'm currently developing a cross-plataform virtual keyboard. In linux i was able to do whatever i want, but in Windows i'm having problems to prevent the widget to obtain the keyboard focus. In linux, using the window flag Qt::X11BypassWindowManagerHint the widget never gets the keyboard input, but of course, that flag does not work on Windows Is there something equivalent to that flag or some method i can use instead? any ideas would be appreciated thanks in advance

    So I've been working on updating old extensions for use with FF4 and Gecko 2 but I am having some issues where I am getting an error that says, classID missing or incorrect for component.... I'm pretty sure that nothing else is using the same GUID so I don't see the problem.

  • EXC_BAD_ACCESS signal received

    When deploying the application to the device, the program will quit after a few cycles with the following error: Program received signal: "EXC_BAD_ACCESS". The program runs without any issue on the iPhone simulator, it will also debug and run as long as I step through the instructions one at a time. As soon as I let it run again, I will hit the EXC_BAD_ACCESS signal. In this particular case, it happened to be an error in the accelerometer code. It would not execute within the simulator, which is why it did not throw any errors. However, it would execute once deployed to the device. Most of the answers to this question deal with the general EXC_BAD_ACCESS error, so I will leave this open as a catch-all for the dreaded Bad Access error. EXC_BAD_ACCESS is typically thrown as the result of an illegal memory access. You can find more information in the answers below. Have you encountered the EXC_BAD_ACCESS signal before, and how did you deal with it?

  • savedInstanceState cannot be resolved to a variable

    I'm currently working through "The Android Developers Cookbook" and one of the tutorials involves multiple activities in an app. To give a bit of background right now I have to .java files, a "menu screen" and a "game screen". The menu screen simply has a button that leads to the game screen which is currently empty except for a button that takes you back to the menu screen. Currently the game.java file is giving me a "savedInstanceState error" this is the code I am working on. public void onCreate(Bundle savedInsanceState) { // below is where the error comes up super.onCreate(savedInstanceState); setContentView(R.layout.game); Button startButton = (Button) findViewById(R.id.end_game); startButton.setOnClickListener(new OnClickListener() { public void onClick(View view) { finish(); } }); } I'm not sure why the error is coming up because on the first java file that same "public void...setContentView..." bit of code compiled perfectly fine... Please help!

  • How can I create a footer/toolbar in an iPhone web app?

    I'm working on a web app and I need to get a div to stick to the bottom of the viewport. Always viewable and always on the bottom of the viewport. There's an example of what I want here: footer. Unfortunately, this doesn't work on the iPhone. I can think of some ways to do this using javascript but I would rather not. Any ideas on how to get this effect on the iPhone using only css?

  • Android - Parsing XML with XPath

    First of all, thanks to all the people who's going to spend a little time on this question. Second, sorry for my english (not my first language! :D). Well, here is my problem. I'm learning Android and I'm making an app which uses a XML file to store some info. I have no problem creating the file, but trying to read de XML tags with XPath (DOM, XMLPullParser, etc. only gave me problems) I've been able to read, at least, the first one. Let's see the code. Here is the XML file the app generates: <dispositivo> <id>111</id> <nombre>Name</nombre> <intervalo>300</intervalo> </dispositivo> And here is the function which reads the XML file: private void leerXML() { try { XPathFactory factory=XPathFactory.newInstance(); XPath xPath=factory.newXPath(); // Introducimos XML en memoria File xmlDocument = new File("/data/data/com.example.gps/files/devloc_cfg.xml"); InputSource inputSource = new InputSource(new FileInputStream(xmlDocument)); // Definimos expresiones para encontrar valor.     I am looking for a Linux compiler for C/C++ code that supports AMDs new "Bulldozer" architecture and produces efficient binaries for the Interlagos series Opterons. This seems to be a bit difficult because of the peculiarities of the Bulldozer microarchitecture. While AMD has a whitepaper with some details, I would like to see some independent analyses. The relevant paper from HeCToR focuses mostly on job placement and scheduling, which is an area we already investigate. So, who can recommend a good compiler comparison for Bulldozers running Linux? Does anyone have well-described benchmarks?
