  Is is possible to format a cell based on one component of the RGB value inside of it. For example, let's say I have 3 cells - A1, A2, A3. In A1, I want the cell color to be the shade of red anywhere between 0 and 255 of the number in the cell (so if it is 128, it should be like half red). For that given cell, the other values will just be 0, 0 (so in this case, zero green and zero blue). Is this possible?

• iphone Odd Problem when using a custom cell

  Please note where I have the NSLOG. All it is displaying in the log is the first three items in the nameSection. After some testing, I discovered it is displaying how many keys there are because if I add a key to the plist, it will log a fourth item in log. nameSection should be an array of the strings that make up the key array in the plist file. the plist file has 3 dictionaries, each with several arrays of strings. The code picks the dictionary I am working with correctly, then should use the array names as sections in the table and the strings en each array as what to display in each cell. so if the dictionary i am working with has 3 arrays, NSLOG will display 3 strings from the first array: 2010-05-01 17:03:26.957 Checklists[63926:207] string0 2010-05-01 17:03:26.960 Checklists[63926:207] string1 2010-05-01 17:03:26.962 Checklists[63926:207] string2 then stop with: 2010-05-01 17:03:26.963 Checklists[63926:207] * Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSRangeException', reason: '* -[NSCFArray objectAtIndex:]: index (3) beyond bounds (3)' if i added an array to the dictionary, it log 4 items instead of 3. • How to resize image to fit UITableView cell?

  How to fit UIImage into the cell of UITableView, UITableViewCell (?). Do you addSubview to cell or is there a way to resize cell.image or the UIImage before it is assigned to cell.image ? I want to keep the cell size default (whatever it is when you init with zero rectangle) and would like to add icon like pictures to each entry. Images are slightly bigger than the cell size (table row size). I think the code looks like this (from top of my head): UIImage * image = [[UIImage alloc] imageWithName:@"bart.jpg"]; cell = ... dequeue cell in UITableView data source (UITableViewController ...) cell.text = @"bart"; cell.image = image; What do I need to do to resize the image to fit the cell size?   I am trying to mix dynamic and static cells in a grouped table view: I would like to get two sections with static cells at the top followed by a section of dynamic cells (please refer to the screenshot below). I have set the table view contents to static cells.   I was recently re-reading an old Wired article about the Kaminsky DNS Vulnerability and the story behind it. In this article there was a quote that came across a little bit exaggerated to me: "The first thing I want to say to you," Vixie told Kaminsky, trying to contain the flood of feeling, "is never, ever repeat what you just told me over a cell phone." Vixie knew how easy it was to eavesdrop on a cell signal, and he had heard enough to know that he was facing a problem of global significance. If the information were intercepted by the wrong people, the wired world could be held ransom. Hackers could wreak havoc. Billions of dollars were at stake, and Vixie wasn't going to take any risks. When reading this I could not help but feel like it was a bit blown-up and theatrical. Now, I know absolutely nothing about cell phones and the security problems involved, but to my understanding, cell phone security has quite improved over the past few years. So my question is: how insecure are cell phones in reality? Are there any good articles that dig a bit deeper into this matter?

  Hi, I am having some problems comparing the elements in different cell arrays. The context of this problem is that I am using the bwboundaries function in MATLAB to trace the outline of an image. The image is of a structural cross section and I am trying to find if there is continuity throughout the section (i.e. there is only one outline produced by the bwboundaries command). Having done this and found where the is more than one section traced (i.e. it is not continuous), I have used the cornermetric command to find the corners of each section. Is there a way I can check whether each cell of the array (containing an x and y coordinate) is equal to any pair of coordinates in cornercellarray? I know it is possible with matrices to compare whether a certain element matches any of the elements in another matrix. I want to be able to do the same here, but for the pair of coordinates within the cell array. The reason I don't just use the cornercellarray cell array itself, is because this lists all the corner coordinates and does not associate them with a specific traced boundary.

• ESXi Guests will not boot on IBM x3550 M3

  I have a problem with Guests not booting under VMWare ESXi 5.0 on my IBM x3550M3 server. VM Host Server: IBM x3550 M3 7944AC1 server w/ 2x Intel Xeon E5607 2.27Ghz CPUs ESXi 5.0.0 Build 623860, built for IBM Hardware downloaded from IBM Storage: 2x500GB SAS local storage 8GB RAM Vt is verified to be ENABLED Server Health Status: Normal The ESXi host boots just fine. The Client connects just fine. Guests can be configured but do not successfully boot. The initial guest memory consumption jumps up to 560MB and drops down to 40MB after a few seconds. Initial CPU usage is 1 full CPU (3000Ghz per the chart) and immediately drops downm to 29Mhz. Guests do not display any output in the Console tab but show a state of 'Powered On'. VMs are listed as Version 7 and the behavior is duplicated across all availabled Guest OS flavors. Problem also duplicated when server is booted up in Legacy Only mode. Logs do not contain anything particularly suspucious. Edit: No firewalls, routers, or VLANs in between the client and server. Edit 2: We have tried to Boot Guest into BIOS screen at Next Boot checkbox in the Guest Setting. Was not successful. Edit 3: 500GB datastore with 1 40GB VM on it. Plenty of space.

• Recover a lost IBM DS4300 SAN password?

  I have a pair of IBM DS4300 SAN units that I need to perform a firmware upgrade on. Unfortunately the admin passwords on these units have been lost and now need to be reset. I had hoped the default password of 'infiniti' would work but it seems that it must have been changed. I know the method here is to contact IBM but the cost of that phone call is ludicrous if someone out here knows what they're going to tell me to do. These units are out of warranty and the cost of support is beyond what we have the budget for. Is there an interrupt I can enter during the boot process (similar to a cisco password recovery) or is there a hardware/software tool I require? Please, if anyone has ever gone through the process of an IBM password recovery I’m asking for a little help. EDIT: Just to clarify, the password I need to reset is the one used for serial cable access and not for storage manager. Sorry if I have caused more confusion.

• IBM storage ds3400 Cant connect to management using fiber

  i have a problem with a DS3400 IBM storage system we bought a few years back. when i try to manage the storage using its IBM storage management i cant find it using automatic detection even though its connected directly using the fiber and i can see the Logical drives connected and working properly. when i tried to connect the two management Ethernet wires and manage the storage directly by entering the IP address manually i am able to connect however after i make several changes to the controller configuration one of the controllers stops responding and i am not able to ping it directly (since you cant make any changes without being connected to both controllers this is a problem) whats more bizarre is that when i change the IP of the controller that doesn't respond it starts working .. i have found some articles over the web explaining stuff about LUN31 being missing and causing similar problems however all my attempts to manually configure it failed . *link to an example http://www-947.ibm.com/support/entry/portal/docdisplay?lndocid=MIGR-5075711 in short im trying to get my storage to appear in the storage manager when directly connected using only the fiber cable directly attached. thanks in advance

More Details : I Installed the same IBM WAS Application Server on two servers as the following : 1- Server1 - OS (AIX) 2- Server2 - OS ( Solaris) these two server on the same network and have the same configuration . Then I deploy Java Application ( X ) on both servers , the Application X was run on Server1 ( AIX ) without any problem but when I run the Application on Server 2 ( Solaris OS) I faced SDK issue . So I need to know what the difference between AIX WAS SDK and Solaris WAS SDK ?? Note : I try windows and it was run without any problem .

I assume that once I can get that right then the spam in my syslog will end as well. One final thing worth mentioning is that the IBM redbook doc targets SLES 11 so I'm assuming there's something a little different under Ubuntu that I just haven't figured out yet. • UITableViewCell with UITableViewCellStyleValue1, adding new line to detailTextLabel at cell at botto

  on my tableview i have the last cell that is not initially visible as seen in the first image, when i scroll the list up, you can see in the second image that the price or my detailTextLabel is put on a new line not maintaining the right justification. • How to require a cell input if another cell has a value

  I'm trying to edit the VBA for one of my workbooks so that If there is a value in column A, then a value for column C is required or else the file won't save, but i'm having some trouble with this. I can get excel to check a cell for any input and require it have input, but I need it to check if a different cell has an input before requiring input. This is because not all of the lines in my spreadsheet will be used all of the time, but some people forget to put very important pieces of information in the spreadsheet which throws some of our balances off. An SKU is entered on the sheet when we switch to a new one, and I want the program to make sure there is an amount of product in a given cell every time a new SKU is entered onto the sheet. Thanks.

• Cell Dequeue problem when table inside another table's cell content view

  I am using two table views (Main Table and Sub Table), one table inside other's cell. I am adding Sub Table in Main Table's cell content view. I am also using different Cell Identifier for both table cells. Now, issue is : When - (UITableViewCell *)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView cellForRowAtIndexPath:(NSIndexPath *)indexPath is called, very first time cell of Main Table is generated and when I scroll up/down they all are just dequeued, so it is expected and standard behavior and working fine. But, cell of Sub Table is getting created/allocated every time. It is not dequeued as it should be. I guess, its happening because Sub Table is part of Main Table's Cell Content view. But not sure and don't know how to resolve it. Can somebody help me to find the solution?
