  • RapidXML - does not compile ?

    - by milan
    Hi, I am novice to rapidXML but first impresion was not positive, I made simple Visual Studio 6 C++ Hello World Application and added RapidXML hpp files to project and in main.cpp I put: #include "stdafx.h" #include < iostream > #include < string > #include "rapidxml.hpp" using namespace std; using namespace rapidxml; int main ( ) { char x[] = "<Something>Text</Something>\0" ; //<<<< funktioniert, aber mit '*' nicht xml_document<> doc ; doc.parse<0>(x) ; cout << "Name of my first node is: " << doc.first_node()->name() << endl ; xml_node<>* node = doc.first_node("Something") ; cout << "Node 'Something' has value: " << node->value() << endl ; } And it does not compile, any help ?   • Apache HttpClient Digest authentication

    - by Milan Jovic
    Hi, Basically what I need to do is to perform digest authentication. First thing I tried is the official example available here. But when I try to execute it(with some small changes, Post instead of the the Get method) I get a org.apache.http.auth.MalformedChallengeException: missing nonce in challange at org.apache.http.impl.auth.DigestScheme.processChallenge(DigestScheme.java:132) When this failed I tried using: DefaultHttpClient client = new DefaultHttpClient(); client.getCredentialsProvider().setCredentials(new AuthScope(null, -1, null), new UsernamePasswordCredentials("<username>", "<password>")); HttpPost post = new HttpPost(URI.create("http://<someaddress>")); List<NameValuePair> nvps = new ArrayList<NameValuePair>(); nvps.add(new BasicNameValuePair("domain", "<username>")); post.setEntity(new UrlEncodedFormEntity(nvps, HTTP.UTF_8)); DigestScheme digestAuth = new DigestScheme(); digestAuth.overrideParamter("algorithm", "MD5"); digestAuth.overrideParamter("realm", "http://<someaddress>"); digestAuth.overrideParamter("nonce", Long.toString(new Random().nextLong(), 36)); digestAuth.overrideParamter("qop", "auth"); digestAuth.overrideParamter("nc", "0"); digestAuth.overrideParamter("cnonce", DigestScheme.createCnonce()); Header auth = digestAuth.authenticate(new UsernamePasswordCredentials("<username>", "<password>"), post); System.out.println(auth.getName()); System.out.println(auth.getValue()); post.setHeader(auth); HttpResponse ret = client.execute(post); ByteArrayOutputStream v2 = new ByteArrayOutputStream(); ret.getEntity().writeTo(v2); System.out.println("----------------------------------------"); System.out.println(v2.toString()); System.out.println("----------------------------------------"); System.out.println(ret.getStatusLine().getReasonPhrase()); System.out.println(ret.getStatusLine().getStatusCode()); At first I have only overridden "realm" and "nonce" DigestScheme parameters. But it turned out that PHP script running on the server requires all other params, but no matter if I specify them or not DigestScheme doesn't generate them when I call its authenticate() method. I've been struggling with this for two days, and no luck. Based on everything I think that the cause of the problem is the PHP script. It looks to me that it doesn't send a challenge when app tries to access it unauthorized. Any ideas anyone?

  • wsimport and header params for logging

    - by Milan
    I have this situation. Generating form based on the WSDL. I made it but I came to the situation when the wsimport tool generates classes with methods with params for header(for authentication) and the params are not just simple types. But some complex. The problem is that I dont know which classes will be generated so I need simple types for the methods. @WebMethod(operationName = "DNSLookup", action = "http://www.strikeiron.com/DNSLookup") @WebResult(name = "DNSLookupResult", targetNamespace = "http://www.strikeiron.com") @RequestWrapper(localName = "DNSLookup", targetNamespace = "http://www.strikeiron.com", className = "invoker.DNSLookup") @ResponseWrapper(localName = "DNSLookupResponse", targetNamespace = "http://www.strikeiron.com", className = "invoker.DNSLookupResponse") public SIWsOutputOfDNSInfo dnsLookup( @WebParam(name = "HostNameOrIPAddress", targetNamespace = "http://www.strikeiron.com") String hostNameOrIPAddress, @WebParam(name = "LicenseInfo", targetNamespace = "http://ws.strikeiron.com", header = true, partName = "LicenseInfo") LicenseInfo licenseInfo, @WebParam(name = "SubscriptionInfo", targetNamespace = "http://ws.strikeiron.com", header = true, mode = WebParam.Mode.OUT, partName = "SubscriptionInfo") Holder<SubscriptionInfo> subscriptionInfo); you can see that LicenseInfo licenseInfo, and Holder subscriptionInfo);? Is it possible to somehow to specify to have simple types for header params?

  • Display XML diferent in JSF (using XSLT or some another suggestion)

    - by Milan
    Hello everybody! At runtime I receive xml document and I want to display it somehow different in JSF. For example: This: <invoker.ArrayOfDictionary> <dictionary> <invoker.Dictionary> <id>gcide</id> <name>The Collaborative International Dictionary of English v.0.48</name> </invoker.Dictionary> <invoker.Dictionary> <id>wn</id> <name>WordNet (r) 2.0</name> </invoker.Dictionary> <invoker.Dictionary> <id>moby-thes</id> <name>Moby Thesaurus II by Grady Ward, 1.0</name> </invoker.Dictionary> in this: invoker.ArrayOfDictionary: dictionary: invoker.Dictionary: id:gcide name:The Collaborative International Dictionary of English v.0.48 invoker.Dictionary: id:wn name:WordNet (r) 2.0 invoker.Dictionary: id:moby-thes name:Moby Thesaurus II by Grady Ward, 1.0 I was thinking to do this with XSLT transformation. Some guidelines how to start with xslt? Or maybe you have another idea for this?

  • Desktop.getDesktop().browse(uri); will open web page on server or client side?

    - by Milan
    Hello everybody, I have a JSF application and when user click on button I want to open a web page. Desktop.getDesktop().browse(uri); probably opens a web page on server side, how to do it on client side? when i try Desktop.getDesktop().browse(uri); it works, but maybe its because I open the JSF application on localhost so I dont know if the opened uri is on server side or client side. In the specification for getDesktop() its written: getDesktop() Returns the Desktop instance of the current browser context. Thanks!

  • JSF and CXF not working together

    - by Milan
    I want to make dynamic web service invoker in JSF with CXF. But when I load this simple code I get error. The code: JaxWsDynamicClientFactory dcf = JaxWsDynamicClientFactory.newInstance(); Client client = dcf.createClient("http://ws.strikeiron.com/IPLookup2?wsdl"); The error: No Factories configured for this Application. This happens if the faces-initialization does not work at all - make sure that you properly include all configuration settings necessary for a basic faces application and that all the necessary libs are included. Also check the logging output of your web application and your container for any exceptions! If you did that and find nothing, the mistake might be due to the fact that you use some special web-containers which do not support registering context-listeners via TLD files and a context listener is not setup in your web.xml. A typical config looks like this; org.apache.myfaces.webapp.StartupServletContextListener Caused by: java.lang.IllegalStateException - No Factories configured for this Application. • What's the best way to trim std::string

    - by Milan Babuškov
    I'm currently using the following code to right-trim all the std::strings in my programs: std::string s; s.erase(s.find_last_not_of(" \n\r\t")+1); It works fine, but I wonder if there are some end-cases where it might fail? Of course, answers with elegant alternatives and also left-trim solution are welcome.

  • A cross between std::multimap and std::vector?

    - by Milan Babuškov
    I'm looking for a STL container that works like std::multimap, but has constant access time to random n-th element. I need this because I have such structure in memory that is std::multimap for many reasons, but items stored in it have to be presented to the user in a listbox. Since amount of data is huge, I'm using list box with virtual items (i.e. list control polls for value at line X). As a workaround I'm currently using additional std::vector to store "indexes" into std::map, and I fill it like this: std::vector<MMap::data_type&> vec; for (MMap::iterator it = mmap.begin(); it != mmap.end(); ++it) vec.push_back((*it).second); But this is not very elegant solution. Is there some such containter?

    Hello everybody! I need to make dynamic web-page/form in JSF. Dynamic: In runtime I get the number of input fields Ill have together with buttons. I'll try to demonstrate you what I need to make. inputField1 inputField2 inputField3 BUTTON1 inputField4 inputField5 BUTTON2 inputField6 inputFiled7 inputField8 inputField9 BUTTON3 I hope you understand me what I want to make. So I when I click on some of the buttons I have to collect the data from the input fields and do something with the data. If I click BUTTON1 I collect data from inputField1 inputField2 inputField3 BUTTON2 inputField4 inputField5, etc. Probably I should create the input fields programmatically and group them in forms. • Oracle syntax - should we have to choose between the old and the new?

    - by Martin Milan
    Hi, I work on a code base in the region of about 1'000'000 lines of source, in a team of around eight developers. Our code is basically an application using an Oracle database, but the code has evolved over time (we have plenty of source code from the mid nineties in there!). A dispute has arisen amongst the team over the syntax that we are using for querying the Oracle database. At the moment, the overwhelming majority of our queries use the "old" Oracle Syntax for joins, meaning we have code that looks like this... Example of Inner Join select customers.*, orders.date, orders.value from customers, orders where customers.custid = orders.custid Example of Outer Join select customers.custid, contacts.ContactName, contacts.ContactTelNo from customers, contacts where customers.custid = contacts.custid(+) As new developers have joined the team, we have noticed that some of them seem to prefer using SQL-92 queries, like this: Example of Inner Join select customers.*, orders.date, orders.value from customers inner join orders on (customers.custid = orders.custid) Example of Outer Join select customers.custid, contacts.ContactName, contacts.ContactTelNo from customers left join contacts on (customers.custid = contacts.custid) Group A say that everyone should be using the the "old" syntax - we have lots of code in this format, and we ought to value consistency. We don't have time to go all the way through the code now rewriting database queries, and it wouldn't pay us if we had. They also point out that "this is the way we've always done it, and we're comfortable with it..." Group B however say that they agree that we don't have the time to go back and change existing queries, we really ought to be adopting the "new" syntax on code that we write from here on in. They say that developers only really look at a single query at a time, and that so long as developers know both syntax there is nothing to be gained from rigidly sticking to the old syntax, which might be deprecated at some point in the future. Without declaring with which group my loyalties lie, I am interested in hearing the opinions of impartial observers - so let the games commence! Martin. Ps. I've made this a community wiki so as not to be seen as just blatantly chasing after question points...

    I'm attempting to install the DrEdit sample app for Salesforce onto GAE. The app runs, but saving or opening a file results in an HTTP 403 "Access Not Configured Error". I have also attempted to use the values for API AccessClient ID for web applications. The Google Drive SDK OAuth Client ID has also been set variously to the Drive SDK and web app Client IDs. but, After enabling both (Api, SDK) in Api access service i am still getting same error.

  • Load Excel data into Linux / wxWidgets C++ application?

    - by Milan Babuškov
    I'm using wxWidgets to write cross-plafrom applications. In one of applications I need to be able to load data from Microsoft Excel (.xls) files, but I need this to work on Linux as well, so I assume I cannot use OLE or whatever technology is available on Windows. I see that there are many open source programs that can read excel files (OpenOffice, KOffice, etc.), so I wonder if there is some library that I could use? Excel files it needs to support are very simple, straight tabular data. I don't need to extract any formatting except column/row position and the data itself.
