  • Beginner problem with posting data table to JsonResult

    - by ognjenb
    With this script I get data from JsonResult (GetDevicesTable) and put them to table ( id="OrderDevices") <script type="text/javascript"> $(document).ready(function() { $("#getDevices a").click(function() { var Id = $(this).attr("rel"); var rowToMove = $(this).closest("tr"); $.post("/ImportXML/GetDevicesTable", { Id: Id }, function(data) { if (data.success) { //remove row rowToMove.fadeOut(function() { $(this).remove() }); //add row to other table $("#OrderDevices").append("<tr><td>"+ data.DeviceId+ "</td><td>" + data.Id+ "</td><td>" + data.OrderId + "</td></tr>"); } else { alert(data.ErrorMsg); } }, "json"); }); }); <% using (Html.BeginForm()) {%> <table id="OrderDevices" class="data-table"> <tr> <th> DeviceId </th> <th> Id </th> <th> OrderId </th> </tr> </table> <p> <input type="submit" value="Submit" /> </p> <% } %> When click on Submit I need something like this: $(document).ready(function() { $("#submit").click(function() { var Id = $(this).attr("rel"); var DeviceId = $(this).attr(???); var OrderId = $(this).attr(???); var rowToMove = $(this).closest("tr"); $.post("/ImportXML/DevicesActions", { Id: Id, DeviceId:DeviceId, OrderId:OrderId }, function(data) { }, "json"); }); }); I have problem with this script because do not know how post data to this JsonResult: public JsonResult DevicesActions(int Id,int DeviceId,int OrderId) { orderdevice ord = new orderdevice(); ord.Id = Id; ord.OrderId = DeviceId; ord.DeviceId = OrderId; DBEntities.AddToorderdevice(ord); DBEntities.SaveChanges(); }

  • L-Soft LISTSERV TCPGUI Interface for PHP Creation

    - by poolnoodl
    I'm trying to use LISTSERV's "API" in PHP. L-Soft calls this TCPGUI, and essentially, you can request data like over Telnet. To do this, I'm using PHP's TCP socket functions. I've seen this done in other languages but can't quite convert it to PHP. I can connect, I can change set ASCII or BINARY mode. But I can never quite craft the header packet the way I need to authenticate, so I'm thinking I'm messing up my conversion. C: http://www.lsoft.com/manuals/16.0/htmlhelp/advanced%20topics/TCPGUI.html#2334328 $origin = '[email protected]'; $pwd = 'password'; $host = "example.com"; $port = 2306; $email = "[email protected]"; $list = "mailinglist"; $command = "Query $list FOR $email"; $fp = stream_socket_client("tcp://$host:$port", $errno, $errstr, 30); $cmd = $command . " PW=" . $pwd; $len = strlen($cmd); $orglen = strlen($origin); $n = $len + $orglen + 1; $headerPacket[0] = "1"; $headerPacket[1] = "B"; $headerPacket[2] = "\r"; $headerPacket[3] = "\n"; $headerPacket[4] = ord($n / 256); $headerPacket[5] = ord($n + 255); $headerPacket[6] = ord($orglen); for ($i = 0; $i < $orglen; $i++) { $headerPacket[$i + 7] = ord($origin[$i]); } for ($i = 0; $i < $len; $i++) { $cmdPacket[$i] = ord($cmd[$i]); } fwrite($fp, implode($headerPacket)); while (!feof($fp)) { echo fgets($fp, 1024); } Any thoughts on where I'm going wrong? I'd much appreciate it if anyone could point me toward some code to do this, days of googling and searching here on SO has only lead me to examples in other languages. Of course, if you know C (or Java or Perl as linked below in my comment to bypass the spam filter), PHP, and socket programming fairly well, you could probably rewrite the whole of the code in an hour, maybe a few minutes. You'd have my eternal thanks for that.

  • How do I handle the Maybe result of at in Control.Lens.Indexed without a Monoid instance

    - by Matthias Hörmann
    I recently discovered the lens package on Hackage and have been trying to make use of it now in a small test project that might turn into a MUD/MUSH server one very distant day if I keep working on it. Here is a minimized version of my code illustrating the problem I am facing right now with the at lenses used to access Key/Value containers (Data.Map.Strict in my case) {-# LANGUAGE OverloadedStrings, GeneralizedNewtypeDeriving, TemplateHaskell #-} module World where import Control.Applicative ((<$>),(<*>), pure) import Control.Lens import Data.Map.Strict (Map) import qualified Data.Map.Strict as DM import Data.Maybe import Data.UUID import Data.Text (Text) import qualified Data.Text as T import System.Random (Random, randomIO) newtype RoomId = RoomId UUID deriving (Eq, Ord, Show, Read, Random) newtype PlayerId = PlayerId UUID deriving (Eq, Ord, Show, Read, Random) data Room = Room { _roomId :: RoomId , _roomName :: Text , _roomDescription :: Text , _roomPlayers :: [PlayerId] } deriving (Eq, Ord, Show, Read) makeLenses ''Room data Player = Player { _playerId :: PlayerId , _playerDisplayName :: Text , _playerLocation :: RoomId } deriving (Eq, Ord, Show, Read) makeLenses ''Player data World = World { _worldRooms :: Map RoomId Room , _worldPlayers :: Map PlayerId Player } deriving (Eq, Ord, Show, Read) makeLenses ''World mkWorld :: IO World mkWorld = do r1 <- Room <$> randomIO <*> (pure "The Singularity") <*> (pure "You are standing in the only place in the whole world") <*> (pure []) p1 <- Player <$> randomIO <*> (pure "testplayer1") <*> (pure $ r1^.roomId) let rooms = at (r1^.roomId) ?~ (set roomPlayers [p1^.playerId] r1) $ DM.empty players = at (p1^.playerId) ?~ p1 $ DM.empty in do return $ World rooms players viewPlayerLocation :: World -> PlayerId -> RoomId viewPlayerLocation world playerId= view (worldPlayers.at playerId.traverse.playerLocation) world Since rooms, players and similar objects are referenced all over the code I store them in my World state type as maps of Ids (newtyped UUIDs) to their data objects. To retrieve those with lenses I need to handle the Maybe returned by the at lens (in case the key is not in the map this is Nothing) somehow. In my last line I tried to do this via traverse which does typecheck as long as the final result is an instance of Monoid but this is not generally the case. Right here it is not because playerLocation returns a RoomId which has no Monoid instance. No instance for (Data.Monoid.Monoid RoomId) arising from a use of `traverse' Possible fix: add an instance declaration for (Data.Monoid.Monoid RoomId) In the first argument of `(.)', namely `traverse' In the second argument of `(.)', namely `traverse . playerLocation' In the second argument of `(.)', namely `at playerId . traverse . playerLocation' Since the Monoid is required by traverse only because traverse generalizes to containers of sizes greater than one I was now wondering if there is a better way to handle this that does not require semantically nonsensical Monoid instances on all types possibly contained in one my objects I want to store in the map. Or maybe I misunderstood the issue here completely and I need to use a completely different bit of the rather large lens package?

  • Need help with PHP URL encoding/decoding

    - by Kenan
    On one page I'm "masking"/encoding URL which is passed to another page, there I decode URL and start file delivering to user. I found some function for encoding/decoding URL's, but sometime encoded URL contains "+" or "/" and decoded link is broken. I must use "folder structure" for link, can not use QueryString! Here is encoding function: $urll = 'SomeUrl.zip'; $key = '123'; $result = ''; for($i=0; $i<strlen($urll); $i++) { $char = substr($urll, $i, 1); $keychar = substr($key, ($i % strlen($key))-1, 1); $char = chr(ord($char)+ord($keychar)); $result.=$char; } $result = urlencode(base64_encode($result)); echo '<a href="/user/download/'.$result.'/">PC</a>'; Here is decoding: $urll = 'segment_3'; //Don't worry for this one its CMS retrieving 3rd "folder" $key = '123'; $resultt = ''; $string = ''; $string = base64_decode(urldecode($urll)); for($i=0; $i<strlen($string); $i++) { $char = substr($string, $i, 1); $keychar = substr($key, ($i % strlen($key))-1, 1); $char = chr(ord($char)-ord($keychar)); $resultt.=$char; } echo '<br />DEC: '. $resultt; So how to encode and decode url. Thanks

  • Using list comprehension in Python to do something similar to zip()?

    - by jamieb
    I'm a Python newbie and one of the things I am trying to do is wrap my head around list comprehension. I can see that it's a pretty powerful feature that's worth learning. cities = ['Chicago', 'Detroit', 'Atlanta'] airports = ['ORD', 'DTW', 'ATL'] print zip(cities,airports) [('Chicago', 'ORD'), ('Detroit', 'DTW'), ('Atlanta', 'ATL')] How do I use list comprehension so I can get the results as a series of lists within a list, rather than a series of tuples within a list? [['Chicago', 'ORD'], ['Detroit', 'DTW'], ['Atlanta', 'ATL']] (I realize that dictionaries would probably be more appropriate in this situation, but I'm just trying to understand lists a bit better). Thanks!

  • Generics not so generic !!

    - by Aymen
    Hi I tried to implement a generic binary search algorithm in scala. Here it is : type Ord ={ def <(x:Any):Boolean def >(x:Any):Boolean } def binSearch[T <: Ord ](x:T,start:Int,end:Int,t:Array[T]):Boolean = { if (start > end) return false val pos = (start + end ) / 2 if(t(pos)==x) true else if (t(pos) < x) binSearch(x,pos+1,end,t) else binSearch(x,start,pos-1,t) } everything is OK until I tried to actually use it (xD) : binSearch(3,0,4,Array(1,2,5,6)) the compiler is pretending that Int not a member of Ord, well what shall I do to solve this ? • Text Obfuscation using base64_encode()

    - by user271619
    I'm playing around with encrypt/decrypt coding in php. Interesting stuff! However, I'm coming across some issues involving what text gets encrypted into. Here's 2 functions that encrypt and decrypt a string. It uses an Encryption Key, which I set as something obscure. I actually got this from a php book. I modified it slightly, but not to change it's main goal. I created a small example below that anyone can test. But, I notice that some characters show up as the "encrypted" string. Characters like "=" and "+". Sometimes I pass this encrypted string via the url. Which may not quite make it to my receiving scripts. I'm guessing the browser does something to the string if certain characters are seen. I'm really only guessing. is there another function I can use to ensure the browser doesn't touch the string? or does anyone know enough php bas64_encode() to disallow certain characters from being used? I'm really not going to expect the latter as a possibility. But, I'm sure there's a work-around. enjoy the code, whomever needs it! define('ENCRYPTION_KEY', "sjjx6a"); function encrypt($string) { $result = ''; for($i=0; $i<strlen($string); $i++) { $char = substr($string, $i, 1); $keychar = substr(ENCRYPTION_KEY, ($i % strlen(ENCRYPTION_KEY))-1, 1); $char = chr(ord($char)+ord($keychar)); $result.=$char; } return base64_encode($result)."/".rand(); } function decrypt($string){ $exploded = explode("/",$string); $string = $exploded[0]; $result = ''; $string = base64_decode($string); for($i=0; $i<strlen($string); $i++) { $char = substr($string, $i, 1); $keychar = substr(ENCRYPTION_KEY, ($i % strlen(ENCRYPTION_KEY))-1, 1); $char = chr(ord($char)-ord($keychar)); $result.=$char; } return $result; } echo $encrypted = encrypt("reaplussign.jpg"); echo "<br>"; echo decrypt($encrypted);

    In the tornado.web module there is a function called _time_independent_equals: def _time_independent_equals(a, b): if len(a) != len(b): return False result = 0 for x, y in zip(a, b): result |= ord(x) ^ ord(y) return result == 0 It is used to compare secure cookie signatures, and thus the name. But regarding the implementation of this function, is it just a complex way to say a==b?

  • Repeated Squaring - Matrix Multiplication using NEWMAT

    - by Dinakar Kulkarni
    I'm trying to use the repeated squaring algorithm (using recursion) to perform matrix exponentiation. I've included header files from the NEWMAT library instead of using arrays. The original matrix has elements in the range (-5,5), all numbers being of type float. # include "C:\User\newmat10\newmat.h" # include "C:\User\newmat10\newmatio.h" # include "C:\User\newmat10\newmatap.h" # include <iostream> # include <time.h> # include <ctime> # include <cstdlib> # include <iomanip> using namespace std; Matrix repeated_squaring(Matrix A, int exponent, int n) //Recursive function { A(n,n); IdentityMatrix I(n); if (exponent == 0) //Matrix raised to zero returns an Identity Matrix return I; else { if ( exponent%2 == 1 ) // if exponent is odd return (A * repeated_squaring (A*A, (exponent-1)/2, n)); else //if exponent is even return (A * repeated_squaring( A*A, exponent/2, n)); } } Matrix direct_squaring(Matrix B, int k, int no) //Brute Force Multiplication { B(no,no); Matrix C = B; for (int i = 1; i <= k; i++) C = B*C; return C; } //----Creating a matrix with elements b/w (-5,5)---- float unifRandom() { int a = -5; int b = 5; float temp = (float)((b-a)*( rand()/RAND_MAX) + a); return temp; } Matrix initialize_mat(Matrix H, int ord) { H(ord,ord); for (int y = 1; y <= ord; y++) for(int z = 1; z<= ord; z++) H(y,z) = unifRandom(); return(H); } //--------------------------------------------------- void main() { int exponent, dimension; cout<<"Insert exponent:"<<endl; cin>>exponent; cout<< "Insert dimension:"<<endl; cin>>dimension; cout<<"The number of rows/columns in the square matrix is: "<<dimension<<endl; cout<<"The exponent is: "<<exponent<<endl; Matrix A(dimension,dimension),B(dimension,dimension); Matrix C(dimension,dimension),D(dimension,dimension); B= initialize_mat(A,dimension); cout<<"Initial Matrix: "<<endl; cout<<setw(5)<<setprecision(2)<<B<<endl; //----------------------------------------------------------------------------- cout<<"Repeated Squaring Result: "<<endl; clock_t time_before1 = clock(); C = repeated_squaring (B, exponent , dimension); cout<< setw(5) <<setprecision(2) <<C; clock_t time_after1 = clock(); float diff1 = ((float) time_after1 - (float) time_before1); cout << "It took " << diff1/CLOCKS_PER_SEC << " seconds to complete" << endl<<endl; //--------------------------------------------------------------------------------- cout<<"Direct Squaring Result:"<<endl; clock_t time_before2 = clock(); D = direct_squaring (B, exponent , dimension); cout<<setw(5)<<setprecision(2)<<D; clock_t time_after2 = clock(); float diff2 = ((float) time_after2 - (float) time_before2); cout << "It took " << diff2/CLOCKS_PER_SEC << " seconds to complete" << endl<<endl; } I face the following problems: The random number generator returns only "-5" as each element in the output. The Matrix multiplication yield different results with brute force multiplication and using the repeated squaring algorithm. I'm timing the execution time of my code to compare the times taken by brute force multiplication and by repeated squaring. Could someone please find out what's wrong with the recursion and with the matrix initialization? NOTE: While compiling this program, make sure you've imported the NEWMAT library. Thanks in advance!

  • How to programatically read native DLL imports in C#?

    - by Eric
    The large hunk of C# code below is intended to print the imports of a native DLL. I copied it from from this link and modified it very slightly, just to use LoadLibraryEx as Mike Woodring does here. I find that when I call the Foo.Test method with the original example's target, MSCOREE.DLL, it prints all the imports fine. But when I use other dlls like GDI32.DLL or WSOCK32.DLL the imports do not get printed. What's missing from this code that would let it print all the imports as, for example, DUMPBIN.EXE does? (Is there a hint I'm not grokking in the original comment that says, "using mscoree.dll as an example as it doesnt export any thing"?) Here's the extract that just shows how it's being invoked: public static void Test() { // WORKS: var path = @"c:\windows\system32\mscoree.dll"; // NO ERRORS, BUT NO IMPORTS PRINTED EITHER: //var path = @"c:\windows\system32\gdi32.dll"; //var path = @"c:\windows\system32\wsock32.dll"; var hLib = LoadLibraryEx(path, 0, DONT_RESOLVE_DLL_REFERENCES | LOAD_IGNORE_CODE_AUTHZ_LEVEL); TestImports(hLib, true); } And here is the whole code example: namespace PETest2 { [StructLayout(LayoutKind.Explicit)] public unsafe struct IMAGE_IMPORT_BY_NAME { [FieldOffset(0)] public ushort Hint; [FieldOffset(2)] public fixed char Name[1]; } [StructLayout(LayoutKind.Explicit)] public struct IMAGE_IMPORT_DESCRIPTOR { #region union /// <summary> /// CSharp doesnt really support unions, but they can be emulated by a field offset 0 /// </summary> [FieldOffset(0)] public uint Characteristics; • Debugging PHP Mail() and/or PHPMailer

    - by Agos
    Hi, I'm quite stuck with a problem sending mail from a PHP script. Some data: Shared hosting, no SSH access, only hosting provider panel PHP version 5.2.5 Last year I built a site which had no problems sending mail with the same hosting Let's say the domain is “domain.com” and my private address is “[email protected]” for anonimity's sake in the following code. Here's the code: <?php error_reporting(E_ALL); ini_set("display_errors", 1); $to = "[email protected]"; $subject = "Hi"; $body = "Test 1\nTest 2\nTest 3"; $headers = 'From: [email protected]' . "\r\n" . 'errors-to: [email protected]' . "\r\n" . 'X-Mailer: PHP/' . phpversion(); if (mail($to, $subject, $body, $headers)) { echo("Message successfully sent"); } else { echo("Message sending failed"); } require('class.phpmailer.php'); $message = "Hello world"; $mail = new PHPMailer(); $mail->CharSet = "UTF-8"; $mail->AddAddress("[email protected]", "Agos"); $mail->SetFrom("[email protected]","My Site"); $mail->Subject = "Test Message"; $mail->Body = $message; $mail->Send(); ?> And here is what I get: Message sending failed 'ai' = 'application/postscript', 'eps' = 'application/postscript', 'ps' = 'application/postscript', 'smi' = 'application/smil', 'smil' = 'application/smil', 'mif' = 'application/vnd.mif', 'xls' = 'application/vnd.ms-excel', 'ppt' = 'application/vnd.ms-powerpoint', 'wbxml' = 'application/vnd.wap.wbxml', 'wmlc' = 'application/vnd.wap.wmlc', 'dcr' = 'application/x-director', 'dir' = 'application/x-director', 'dxr' = 'application/x-director', 'dvi' = 'application/x-dvi', 'gtar' = 'application/x-gtar', 'php' = 'application/x-httpd-php', 'php4' = 'application/x-httpd-php', 'php3' = 'application/x-httpd-php', 'phtml' = 'application/x-httpd-php', 'phps' = 'application/x-httpd-php-source', 'js' = 'application/x-javascript', 'swf' = 'application/x-shockwave-flash', 'sit' = 'application/x-stuffit', 'tar' = 'application/x-tar', 'tgz' = 'application/x-tar', 'xhtml' = 'application/xhtml+xml', 'xht' = 'application/xhtml+xml', 'zip' = 'application/zip', 'mid' = 'audio/midi', 'midi' = 'audio/midi', 'mpga' = 'audio/mpeg', 'mp2' = 'audio/mpeg', 'mp3' = 'audio/mpeg', 'aif' = 'audio/x-aiff', 'aiff' = 'audio/x-aiff', 'aifc' = 'audio/x-aiff', 'ram' = 'audio/x-pn-realaudio', 'rm' = 'audio/x-pn-realaudio', 'rpm' = 'audio/x-pn-realaudio-plugin', 'ra' = 'audio/x-realaudio', 'rv' = 'video/vnd.rn-realvideo', 'wav' = 'audio/x-wav', 'bmp' = 'image/bmp', 'gif' = 'image/gif', 'jpeg' = 'image/jpeg', 'jpg' = 'image/jpeg', 'jpe' = 'image/jpeg', 'png' = 'image/png', 'tiff' = 'image/tiff', 'tif' = 'image/tiff', 'css' = 'text/css', 'html' = 'text/html', 'htm' = 'text/html', 'shtml' = 'text/html', 'txt' = 'text/plain', 'text' = 'text/plain', 'log' = 'text/plain', 'rtx' = 'text/richtext', 'rtf' = 'text/rtf', 'xml' = 'text/xml', 'xsl' = 'text/xml', 'mpeg' = 'video/mpeg', 'mpg' = 'video/mpeg', 'mpe' = 'video/mpeg', 'qt' = 'video/quicktime', 'mov' = 'video/quicktime', 'avi' = 'video/x-msvideo', 'movie' = 'video/x-sgi-movie', 'doc' = 'application/msword', 'word' = 'application/msword', 'xl' = 'application/excel', 'eml' = 'message/rfc822' ); return (!isset($mimes[strtolower($ext)])) ?   • Haskell: How to compose `not` with a function of arbitrary arity?

    When I have some function of type like f :: (Ord a) => a -> a -> Bool f a b = a > b I should like make function which wrap this function with not. e.g. make function like this g :: (Ord a) => a -> a -> Bool g a b = not $ f a b I can make combinator like n f = (\a -> \b -> not $ f a b) But I don't know how. *Main> let n f = (\a -> \b -> not $ f a b) n :: (t -> t1 -> Bool) -> t -> t1 -> Bool Main> :t n f n f :: (Ord t) => t -> t -> Bool *Main> let g = n f g :: () -> () -> Bool What am I doing wrong? And bonus question how I can do this for function with more and lest parameters e.g. t -> Bool t -> t1 -> Bool t -> t1 -> t2 -> Bool t -> t1 -> t2 -> t3 -> Bool

  • Incorrect usage of UPDATE and ORDER BY

    - by nico55555
    I have written some code to update certain rows of a table with a decreasing sequence of numbers. To select the correct rows I have to JOIN two tables. The last row in the table needs to have a value of 0, the second last -1 and so on. To achieve this I use ORDER BY DESC. Unfortunately my code brings up the following error: Incorrect usage of UPDATE and ORDER BY My reading suggests that I can't use UPDATE, JOIN and ORDER BY together. I've read that maybe subqueries might help? I don't really have any idea how to change my code to do this. Perhaps someone could post a modified version that will work? while($row = mysql_fetch_array( $result )) { $products_id = $row['products_id']; $products_stock_attributes = $row['products_stock_attributes']; mysql_query("SET @i = 0"); $result2 = mysql_query("UPDATE orders_products op, orders ord SET op.stock_when_purchased = (@i:=(@i - op.products_quantity)) WHERE op.orders_id = ord.orders_id AND op.products_id = '$products_id' AND op.products_stock_attributes = '$products_stock_attributes' AND op.stock_when_purchased < 0 AND ord.orders_status = 2 ORDER BY orders_products_id DESC") or die(mysql_error()); }

  • Convert binary information to regular data type without outside modules in python.

    - by vgm64
    Hello World. I'm tasked with reading a poorly formatted binary file and taking in the variables. Although I need to do it in C++ (ROOT, specifically), I've decided to do it in python because python makes sense to me, but my plan is to get it working in python and then tackle re-writing in in C++, so using easy to use python modules won't get me too far later down the road. Basically, I do this: In [5]: some_value Out[5]: '\x00I' In [6]: ''.join([str(ord(i)) for i in some_value]) Out[6]: '073' In [7]: int(''.join([str(ord(i)) for i in some_value])) Out[7]: 73 And I know there has to be a better way. What do you think?
