    My DataGridView is a single line selection and theres a rowEnter Event where I get the line index every time the selected line changes. private void rowEnter(object sender, DataGridViewCellEventArgs e) { currentRowIndex = e.RowIndex; } when I press a delete button I use the same index to delete the row myDataSet.Avaliado.Rows[currentRowIndex].Delete(); avaliadoTableAdapter.Update(myDataSet.Avaliado); it works fine if no column in the DataGridView is sorted, otherwise a get an error. What should be the way to know the row index in the dataset that corresponds to the rowindex from the DataGridView?

This executalbe is widechar ready and you want to test if one of this arguments starts with an HYPHEN case in which its an option: command -o foo how you could test it inside your code if you don't know the charset been used by the host? Should be not possible to a given console to produce the same HYPHEN representation by another char in the widechar forest?   • KnpLabs / DoctrineBehaviors Translatable - currentLocale = null

    Using the trait \Knp\DoctrineBehaviors\Model\Translatable\Translation inside an Entity, I see that the property currentLocale is never setted , so we always obtain the default locale ('en') in all the calls to $this->translate(). If I change this getDefaultLocale, all the translations are made correctly, so I think that is no problem with the fallback. I tried debug the currentLocaleCallable. I see that if I put a "var_dump ($this-container-get('request'));" in the contructor of currentLocaleCallable, the request have a locale to null.   • Trapping Error Status in MSBuild

    As part of some build automation of running xUnit.net tests with MSBuild, I'm running into a case where I need to loop over a batch of items. Inside the loop, I need to detect whether an iteration failed, but I want to continue executing regardless. Then after the batched bit, I need to know whether one or more errors have occurred in order to report the outcome to TeamBuild. IOW, in pseudocode: Task Name=RunTests CreateItems ForEach item CallTarget Target=RunTest ContinueOnError=true CombineNUnitResults Report success/failure Task Name=RunTest XUnit item I'm hoping this can be achieved without a custom task (or hacking the xunit.net MSBuild task as Jonne did).     Which parts of the framework require a user to be more than a Standard User? The reason I'm asking is because I'm trying to compile a list of possible issues with our existing applications when migrating to Windows 7. Now, I can think of a few things myself: Writing to Eventlog Writing to Registry Keys outside of Current_User scope Getting an Environment variable etc... I really would like a more complete list and so far I've not come across a decent resource in which all this stuff is listed. Note that I'm not looking for ways of elevating the priviliges for the exsiting apps (which can be done by using a manifes), I'm simply idenitifying actions in code that might cause issues.

  • Using SqlBulkCopy in a multithread scenario with ThreadPool issue

    Hi. I'm facing a dilemma (!). In a first scenario, i implemented a solution that replicates data from one data base to another using SQLBulkCopy synchronously and i had no problem at all. Now, using ThreadPool, i implemented the same in a assynchronously scenario, a thread per table, and all works fine, but past some time (usualy 1hour because the operations of copy takes about the same time), the operations sended to the ThreadPool stop being executed. There are one diferent SQLBulkCopy using one diferent SQLConnection per thread. I already see the number of free threads, and they are all free at the begining of the invocation...I have one AutoResetEvent to wait that the threads finish their job before launching again, and a Semaphore FIFO that hold the counter of active threads. There are some issue that I have forgotten or that I should avaliate when using SqlBulkCopy? I apreciate some help, because my ideas are over;) Thanks

    Is there a way to override extension methods (provide a better implementation), without explicitly having to cast to them? I'm implementing a data type that is able to handle certain operations more efficiently than the default extension methods, but I'd like to keep the generality of IEnumerable. That way any IEnumerable can be passed, but when my class is passed in, it should be more efficient. I have been searching the internet high and low but can find some examples that can help me, I'm developing an application in wpf, in it I use a datagrid, each cell as a datatemplate with and image, in a mosaic style, on the side of the grid I have some tiles to use on the grid, I'm able to drag the tiles but can't drop then on the grid because I can't find the cell to which make the drop, is there a way to get a cell position from the the drag events?   • Creating a future proof .NET 3.5 SP1 installer prerequisite for setup.exe AND the .MSI

    I've demanded .NET 3.5 SP1 a la http://stackoverflow.com/questions/88136/will-a-vs2008-setup-project-update-net-3-5-sp1. This makes the setup.exe check correctly. I've also added a "SP1" launch condition to my MSI so it doesn't let the user install my .NET 3.5SP1 app via launching the MSI (and replaced the [VSDNETMSG] in the Framework condition message with one that actually mentions SP1). From a future proofing point of view, this feels wrong. I want the condition to be: (NETVer=3.5 AND Net35SPLevel=1) OR (NETVer=>3.5) not (NETVer=3.5 AND Net35SPLevel=1) Is there any way to do that? The framework check doesnt have a condition property to allow me to add a sub-condition... Yes, I could also just not worry my pretty little head about it :P If one of the MS versioning experts out there reads this, if you're going to put stuff that code depends on into SPs, can you please make the installer be able to check for it OOTB. (I really wish they had come up with a better numbering scheme - the world and its dog could see that this was going to get confusing)

I'm developing an application that as to export a dataset to excel, this dataset have 3 tables and the relation between them, I would like to export this to a single excel sheet where for each parent table there is a '+' sign that when expanded shows the child values related to it. To export a single table to excel I know how to do it, but to create this type of relation I have no idea how to do it, do I have to create a macro on the excel file?

I can easily imagine why this might be the policy -- having the initialisation step explicit to avoid surprises etc., it's just that I seem to recall this not always being the case... (And normally I have the config in a separate file, which generally takes configsections out of the picture)

    I have created a Django project in local which runs without any kind of problem. I don't understand why it is looking for the .css files in that path. Cherokee should be searching the files in Django original directory so i didn't change .css files in my project. Any advice?   • Use different configurations with Simple Injection

    I'm using the library "Simple Injector" (http://simpleinjector.codeplex.com) and it looks cool and nice. But after building a configuration and use it, now I want to know how to change from one configuration to another. Scenario: Let's imagine I've set up a configuration in the Global Asax and I have the public and global Container there. Now I want to make some tests and I want them to use mock classes so I want to change the configuration. I can, of course, build another configuration and assign it to the global Container created by default, so that every time I run a test the alternative configuration will be set. But on doing that and though I'm in development context the Container is changed for everyone, even for normal requests. I know I'm testing in this context and that shouldn't matter, but I have the feeling that this is not the way for doing this... and I wonder how to change from one configuration to another in the correct way. Note: At Simple Injector documentation says that you can ask questions in stackoverflow so that's why I'm here. =P PD: I'm new in this IoC and DI world so try to be easy with me when explaining it :)

  • Android - Parsing XML with XPath

    First of all, thanks to all the people who's going to spend a little time on this question. Second, sorry for my english (not my first language! :D). Well, here is my problem. I'm learning Android and I'm making an app which uses a XML file to store some info. I have no problem creating the file, but trying to read de XML tags with XPath (DOM, XMLPullParser, etc. only gave me problems) I've been able to read, at least, the first one. Let's see the code. Here is the XML file the app generates: <dispositivo> <id>111</id> <nombre>Name</nombre> <intervalo>300</intervalo> </dispositivo> And here is the function which reads the XML file: private void leerXML() { try { XPathFactory factory=XPathFactory.newInstance(); XPath xPath=factory.newXPath(); // Introducimos XML en memoria File xmlDocument = new File("/data/data/com.example.gps/files/devloc_cfg.xml"); InputSource inputSource = new InputSource(new FileInputStream(xmlDocument)); // Definimos expresiones para encontrar valor.
