    Hi, I run into the following errors when i try to store a large file into a string. Exception in thread "main" java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space at java.util.Arrays.copyOf(Arrays.java:2882) at java.lang.AbstractStringBuilder.expandCapacity(AbstractStringBuilder.java:100) at java.lang.AbstractStringBuilder.append(AbstractStringBuilder.java:515) at java.lang.StringBuffer.append(StringBuffer.java:306) at rdr2str.ReaderToString.main(ReaderToString.java:52) As is evident, i am running out of heap space. Basically my pgm looks like something like this. FileReader fr = new FileReader(<filepath>); sb = new StringBuffer(); char[] b = new char[BLKSIZ]; while ((n = fr.read(b)) > 0) sb.append(b, 0, n); fileString = sb.toString(); Can someone suggest me why i am running into heap space error? Can someone help me solve this problem. Note: The url I am trying to read contains a json response so everything is in one line I think thats why I am having some content missing.

    Hi all, I have quite the process that we go through in order to display some e-mail communications in our application. Have a*Ç´)¡.ñÇ¡." in the browser. -The following shows up in a tooltip while hovering over the above text: <CommDetails>This is a new test. Have a*Ç´)¡.ñÇ¡.ñ*Ç´)¡.ñ*´)(¡.ñÇ(¡.ñÇ* Wonderful Day!</CommDetails> This then shows up incorrectly when rendered in the tooltip javascript with all the HEX values and not being rendered correctly. Any suggestions on how to make the unknown characters show correctly in javascript?

Now, if an object contains another object and that object links back to the original object, it should not follow that object further down the chain. However, my logic seems to have a flaw as I still get stuck in an infinite loop. Does anyone know why this is happening?

    I'm supposed to implement a relatively complex form that looks like follows, but has at least four more pages requiring the user to fill in all necessary information for the tracks: This data will need to be sent to the server, which is implemented using Dropwizard. I'm looking for best practices on how to upload and send such a complex form with potentially dozens of songs to the server. I don't know which approach, if any, is best. An ideal solution would be to utilize Jackson to convert a json string into my data objects, but I don't get the impression that this is possible with binary data.

    I am trying to process with Proguard a MS Windows desktop application (Java 6 SE using the SWT lib provided by Eclipse).     As part of a rewrite of an old Java application into C#, I'm writing an actual Software Design Specification. A problem I run into is when a method is too simple to bother with a Sequence Diagram (it doesn't interact with other objects). As an example, I have a simple POJO called Item, containing the following method: public String getCategoryKey() { StringBuffer value = new StringBuffer("s-"); value.append(this.getModelID()); value.append("-c"); return value; } The purpose and the algorithm for the method needs to be documented. However, a sequence diagram is overkill. How would others document it? (I take no credit/blame for the given method, it's very old code and the author "forgot" to put their name in the Javadoc).

Please help. What should i do to prevent this?
