• Keyword Selection Background?

  I just installed MSVS2010 Ultimate & I've noticed something which is somewhat annoying & conflicting with my syntax highlighting, as can be seen: As can be seen, when a keyword/function/variable/etc is highlighted all other instances of the aforementioned are highlighted too. This is somewhat annoying. Is there any way to disable this?

• How do I make links in a TextView clickable?

  I have the following TextView defined: <TextView android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:layout_height="wrap_content" android:text="@string/txtCredits" android:autoLink="web" android:id="@+id/infoTxtCredits" android:layout_centerInParent="true" android:linksClickable="true"></TextView> where @string/txtCredits is a string resource that contains Link text. Android is highlighting the links in the TextView, but they do not respond to clicks. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Do I have to set an onClickListener for the TextView in my activity for something as simple as this?

• copy an element as HTML to clipboard

  I've managed to write some jQuery to find an element and copy it's html to the clipboard (ie only). The problem is that when I paste this into a rich text box area in sharepoint it pastes the HTML as text only. How do i replicate the user action of highlighting a link on a page and pressing copy. When I do this manually and then paste the clipboard contents the rich text area realises that it is markup and replicates the link as an anchor in the text content.

  How do I get visual studio 2005 to work best with .asp files? I used to have this on my old PC but I can't get the settings right. I exported and important all my old settings and still no dice. alternatively I think there might be an even better choice for classic asp IDE editor. • Override browser "Find" feature

  I'm wondering whether it's possible to use JavaScript to intercept or prevent the user from using the browser's "Find" feature to find text on the page. (Trust me, I have a good reason!) I'm guessing the answer is "no," beyond the obvious intercepting Cmd/Ctrl+F. A second-best solution would be to intercept the text highlighting that the browser performs during a Find. Is there any way to do this, in any browser?

• I need to unset the state of the jQuery .toggle(odd,even)

  Hi I have items in a table cell that gets toggled on and off. An external button accepts a click and submits the selected cell values via ajax. The problem is that I want to reset the toggle state for the selected cells. I can easily unset the highlighting, but then need a double click to trigger the correct toggle. Can the .toggle(odd, even) be reset or cycled via an external call? Thanks

• Accidentally created VB.NET project instead of C#

  This should seem simple enough, but can't figure it out. I was porting a project out of MonoDevelop and into VS2008, but I accidently created the project as VB.NET instead of C#. Now ReSharper and any syntax highlighting is throwing a fit because it's trying to validate it as VB. How do I tell it to treat it as a C# project without creating a whole new one?

The files where autocomplete is working, icon for java file is a filled "J" I am wondering if someone can point out what went wrong all of suddent, why the change in icons and why autocomplete and syntax highlighting is turned-off in the files with a hollow "J" icon?   I have a friend who is trying to make the switch to Linux, but is hung up on the apparent lack of debugging/IDE environments for C++, especially as they relate to template programming. He has been using visual studio for years and is maybe a little spoiled by their awesome IDE. Does anyone have any good suggestions for an environment where he can, under Linux, develop and debug with all of the usual things (Breakpoints, line highlighting for compilation errors, step in/over/out/etc, etc) that he's accustomed to?
