Input labels for dynamically loaded HTML content

I have a form that is dynamically loaded through AJAX and dumped with innerHTML inside an area of a website. The problem I seem to encounter is that the labels don't seem to point to the inputs they're tied to, when clicked. I'm sure the markup is correct because if I open that form html code separately the labels work. Is there a solution to re-initialize somehow this sort of event natively? I'm not looking into simulating the behavior with JS. Thanks!

How can I add a newline to a plot's label (e.g. xlabel or ylabel) in Matplotlib? For example, plt.bar([1, 2], [4, 5]) plt.xlabel("My x label") plt.ylabel(r"My long label with $\Sigma_{C}$ math \n continues here") Ideally i'd like the y-labeled to be centered too. HTML5 Form: Page Is Reloading Instantly After Restyling (And It Shouldn't Be)

I have a form. I have made it so that if your name is not put in, a red border is put on the name field. That works, BUT...it's for a split second, and then the page reloads. I want the red border to appear, and then stay there. For some reason it's for a split second. Can someone help me make it so the page doesn't reload after displaying the red border? Hi community! I have an ArrayCollection of objects. I'm passing this array to a horizontallist as a dataprovider and I'm using a custom itemRenderer. When executing the application, the horizontallist is displaying [object CustomClass][object CustomClass][object CustomClass][object CustomClass] I've tried casting each object in the itemrenderer as following: <mx:Label text="{(data as CustomClass).label1}"/> But it's not working... Updating nested attributes causes duplicate entries

I have a has_many and belongs_to relationship between Job and Address. When I try to update Job and Address in the same form, it updates job but creates a duplicate entry for Address. Am I missing something here? I've been using formtastic in order to generate HTML forms on rails applications. My question, however, is really HTML-related. Today I found a strange behaviour on the way formtastic generates checkboxes (fields of type :boolean on formtastic lingo). The rest of the fields (non-checkboxes) are generated this way: <li> <label for="my_textbox_field">My TextBox</label> <input id="my_textbox_field" type="text" ... > </li> Checkboxes, however, are enclosed inside their <label> tags completely - like this: <li> <label for="my_boolean_field"> <input id="my_boolean_field" type="checkbox" ... > This is my boolean field </label> </li> Formtastic phylosophy seems to be based on the Learning to Love Forms presentation. In effect, on slide 36 of that presentation this structure is suggested for checkboxes. I guess in the presentation itself the presenter explained why this was done, but it is not written on the slides. Can anyone tell me why enclosing checkboxes inside their <label> tag might be a good idea, as opposed to putting them outside, like with textboxes?

UITableViewCell repeating problem

I have a UItableview with cells. Some cells have uilabels and some have uibuttons. The UIbuttons are created whenever the first character in an array is "^". However, the uibuttons repeat when i scroll down (appearing over the uilabel).. and then multiply over the uilabels when I scroll up. Any clues why? Hi there I have a MenuBar which contains general menu items like File, View, Tools ,Help. I have sub items in each of those menuitems. The problem is that i want to open the 'File' menu automatically when i press Alt+f key. I could capture the keyevents on the view. But how to open the File Menu of the MenuBar (what is the function that needs to be called from MenuBar Class to popup those sub menuitems) ? Creating UIButton using helper method

I have a subclass of UITableView and in it I want to generate number of labels that share the same properties (font, textColor, backgroundColor, etc.). I decided the easiest way to achieve this would be to create a helper method which creates the label with some common properties set: - (UILabel *)defaultLabelWithFrame:(CGRect)frame { UILabel *label = [[UILabel alloc] initWithFrame:frame]; label.font = [UIFont fontWithName:@"Helvetica" size:14]; label.textColor = [UIColor colorWithWhite:128.0/255.0 alpha:1.0]; label.backgroundColor = [UIColor clearColor]; return label; } I use the method like this: UILabel *someLabel = [self defaultLabelWithFrame:CGRectMake(0,0,100,100)]; [self addSubview:someLabel]; [someLabel release]; My concern here is that when creating the label in the method it is retained, but when I then assign it to someLabel, it is retained again and I have no way of releasing the memory when created in the method. What would be best the best approach here? I fee like I have two options: Create a subclass of UILabel for the default label type. How to bind a label inside a gridview to another table?

I have a very standard Gridview, with Edit and Delete buttons auto-generated. It is bound to a tableadapter which is linked to my "RelationshipTypes" table. dbo.RelationshipTypes: ID, Name, OriginConfigTypeID, DestinationConfigTypeID I wish to use a label that will pull the name from the ConfigTypes table, using the "OriginConfigTypeID" and "DestinationTypeID" as the link. dbo.ConfigTypes: ID, Name My problem is, I can't automatically generate Edit and Delete buttons using an Inner Join in my dataset. Or can I? Dual boot Win 7 Ubuntu - home and boot partitions have no mount point

After installing Ubuntu 12.04.3 on a Windows 7 laptop, running Ubuntu Disk Utility showed the following partition information; /dev/sda1 NTFS, Bootable, Filesystem, Labled: System Reserved, 105MB, Not Mounted /dev/sda2 NTFS, no flag, Filesystem, no label, 84GB, Not Mounted /dev/sda3 Usage: Container for logical partitions. Partition Type: Extended (0x05). no flags. no label. Capacity: 416GB /dev/sda5 Usage: Filesystem. Partition Type: Linux (0x83). no partition label. no flags. Capacity: 999MB. Type: Ext4(ver 1.0). Available: -. Label: -. Mount Point: Not Mounted /dev/sda8 Usage: Filesystem. Partition Type: Linux (0x83). no partition label. no flags. Capacity: 30GB. Type: Ext4(ver 1.0). Available: -. Label: -. $_POST data returns empty when headers are > POST_MAX_SIZE

Hi Hopefully someone here might have an answer to my question. I have a basic form that contains simple fields, like name, number, email address etc and 1 file upload field. I am trying to add some validation into my script that detects if the file is too large and then rejects the user back to the form to select/upload a smaller file. My problem is, if a user selects a file that is bigger than my validation file size rule and larger than php.ini POST_MAX_SIZE/UPLOAD_MAX_FILESIZE and pushes submit, then PHP seems to try process the form only to fail on the POST_MAX_SIZE settings and then clears the entire $_POST array and returns nothing back to the form. Is there a way around this? Surely if someone uploads something than the max size configured in the php.ini then you can still get the rest of the $_POST data??? DropDownList Value not changing with UpdatePanel and ModalPopupExtender

Greetings, I have an asp.net webpage with an modalpopupextender inside of an updatepanel. When I click Ok on the popup, I can get the textbox values from the popup just fine, but the DropDownLists have the old/default value, not the new value I have selected for them. All the controls on the popup are set to enableviewstate = true, and autopostback = false (I just want to make the trip to the server when I click the ok button, not every time I change the value of the popups).
