  • The "Update" button in ArcFM Attribute Editor is disabled.

    I am not been able to update any of the attributes in one of my feature classes using the Arc FM Attribute editor, but I am able to update it thru the ESRI Attribute editor. Please lemme know if somebody knows the reason. I am using Arc SDE 9.3.1 with ArcFM 9.3 and ArcMap 9.3 Note:I am in selection Tab and not in Target tab.   • What needs to be passed to an editor from a keyboard app to move the cursor one char left?

    What key code does an Android editor app expect the keyboard app to send when it is going to be interpreted as a left arrow? In other words, what is the keyboard program supposed to send to its calling program (some kind of editor) if the user intends to move the cursor one char to the left? A related issue: what do the minus values for the "android:codes" attribute mean? () Any pointers to these issues will be appreciated.

  • My VS 2010 and ASP.NET 4 Talks Online

    The past 7 years I’ve done an annual all day event in Arizona – organized by the most excellent Scott Cate (who always does a phenomenal job organizing the event and making it a great one). Earlier this month I visited and presented 4+ hours of content covering VS 2010, ASP.NET 4 and ASP.NET MVC 2.  NextSlide.com – a great .NET shop local to Arizona who has a great product for sharing presentations – volunteered to record the talks and publish them for free using their online presentation tool.  The recordings they did turned out really, really great – and their online player (which combines slides + camera of me + demos in one experience) is awesome.  Below you can watch the first two segments of my event – which cover VS 2010 and ASP.NET 4 – for free online using the NextSlide.com player experience.  I’ll post a link to my ASP.NET MVC 2 segment a little later in a separate blog post.  If you’ve never seen my present these talks before and are interested in the content then I’d recommend checking them out – as these recordings do a really good job capturing them.   • MySQL Online Database

    Can anyone suggest a good online free MySQL database. I've tried four till now: db4free FreeMySQL onPhP 000webhost Either of them gave me an timeout error on my connect file or actively restricted connection to it, meaning the host won't allow a remote connection to the database. If there isn't any good online database can I create my own server using my computer, since it gets rarely turned off and when my server is offline I could return an error message saying that the server is currently offline. My final objective is to have a simple comment box for a webpage. Witch I believe it won't need a massive data storage with 3 columns (id, name, comment) NOTE: Can't post more then two links yet.

    Are you looking for more variety from your radio stations? Today we’ll take a look at how to easily stream thousands of radio stations to your desktop with VLC media player. Getting Started Select Media from the menu, go to Services Discovery, and click Shoutcast radio listings.   Next, select View from the menu and click Playlist.   Or, click on the Show Playlist button In the Playlist window, click on Shoutcast radio listings in the left pane. You should then see a very long list of Titles displayed on the right. Scroll though the list to find a music genre or topic that interests you. Double-click to expand the list of station options. Select one of the channel listings from the list and double click to begin playing.   Looking for a specific station? As I looked around, I found the old school types where its just a plain text while the new ones are all colorful but seem overpowering. I was thinking of a more section wise cv. One that would link to categories. But here is the thing, I'm a noob at this ... Any hints, help, or examples would be much appreciated. In short, I would want a cv plus a portfolio that would be able to work on all different browsers.
