  Anybody out there has successfully installed PygraphViz on Windows? Since there is not an official release for Windows, I'm trying to build it myself, but it fails to compile. I'm not the first one to face this issue, but I could not find an answer.   Hello, Does anyone know what does the following error mean: +entityForName: could not locate an NSManagedObjectModel for entity name 'TAB_RSS' I noticed my frameworks were highlighted in red UIKIT.framework, Foundation.framework and CoreGraphics.framework. I've now added these but am getting a warning message stating "missing required architecture i386 in file". I think this may be related to the above error. I found another post that may help me http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1...e-i386-in-file but I can't find my project.pbxproj file. I think i need to edit this and remove references to the FRAMEWORK_SEARCH_PATHS. Stephen

  OK, I understand what the messages means, but I'm really not sure what's causing it. I'm using Safari and the Web Inspector on Mac OS X, by the way. I've got the following in my document head: <script src="http://local.url/a/js/jquery.js" type="text/javascript"></script> <script src="http://local.url/a/js/jquery.inplace.js" type="text/javascript"></script> jquery.js is handled fine, but the other file causes the warning. It also seems that the javascript in this file never gets executed. The file is being served via mod_deflate, so it is gzip encoded, but so is the other file. Has anybody got any ideas what's causing this, or how to resolve it? Cheers all, Gaz.

• script running very slow in IE with Jquery quickflip plug-in

  I have a jQuery plugin running on my site that is executing very, very slowly in IE7/8 to the point that it throws a slow script warning to the user. It doesn't happen in any other browser, and I can't figure out what might be going on. If you go to this page: http://dev.xeetic.org/projects You'll see that there are 16 results on each page, and each one has a "flip" behavior attached, using the jQuery plugin "quickflip." Attaching this behavior is very slow in IE. If I reduce the result set to 8 or 4 per page, it's faster, but still very bogged down. I have contacted the author of the script with no success. I am willing to pay for a solution, if I'm allowed to offer such a thing on this site.

  I need an NSDictionary which has key in the form of string (@"key1", @"key2") and value in the form of a C-style two-dimentional array (valueArray1,valueArray2) where valueArray1 is defined as : int valueArray1[8][3] = { {25,10,65},{50,30,75},{60,45,80},{75,60,10}, {10,70,80},{90,30,80},{20,15,90},{20,20,15} }; And same for valueArray2. My aim is given an NSString i need to fetch the corresponding two-dimentional array. I guess using an NSArray, instead of c-style array, will work but then i cannot initialize the arrays as done above (i have many such arrays). If, however, that is doable please let me know how.   What I do: Publishing .Net 3.5 application via VS, or msbuild (whatever), and now I need to insert to the published application separate directory (Modules - not added as a reference to the project - our project architecture does not allow this). So I'm copying the folder to published location then runs mageUI.exe select the application manifest and then the problems starts. As I press the populate button it's adding also hidden directory? So I remove the directory, after I want to save the manifest file I get the "Warning MSB3110: Assembly 'NAME.Shell.application.deploy' has mismatched identity 'NAME.Shell.application', expected file name: 'NAME.Shell.application.application'". Did you have the same problems, according to http://smartclient.codeplex.com/Project/Download/FileDownload.aspx?DownloadId=5060 it should be easy as 1-2-3 but it's not.

• IEnumerable.GetEnumerator() and IEnumerable<T>.GetEnumerator()

  Hi, In the .net framework, there's a generic IEnumerable<T> interface which inherits from the not-generic IEnumerable, and they both have a GetEnumerator() method. The only differents between these two GetEnumerator() is the return type. Now I have a similar design, but when I compile the code, the compiler said: MyInterface<T>.GetItem()' hides inherited member 'MyInterface.GetItem()'. Use the new keyword if hiding was intended. The MyInterface<T>.GetItem() returns a concrete type T, while MyInterface.GetItem() returns type System.Object. So I think if the BCL team guys compile the .net framework, they will get the same warning. I think having compiler warnings is not good, what do you think? And how can I solve this problem? I mean I want to get the concrete type T when calling the MyInterface<T>.GetItem() not just a instance of type System.Object. Thanks in advance! :-)

• Delete merge history in a branch in TFS

  Suppose I have a main branch and a dev branch. Suppose I merge some stuff from dev into main. I check in the merge Now I decide "whoops, the dev branch wasn't really ready for me to merge into main yet." I want to tell TFS: remove that change set from main and forget that the merge ever happened. Rolling back the changeset is easy enough -- I can use the TFS powertools ROLLBACK command. on the Main branch (with the /changeset /recursive flags) However, I will get a warning from the rollback that the merge history for the files has not been deleted. Effect: Later, when dev is ready to be merged into main, the changes in the files that were rolled back previously are NOT merged into Main (this is because TFS "thinks" that those merges are already done. My goal: When I rollback, make TFS remove the merge history so that when I merge dev into main later on, everything merges. How can I do that? BTW: I'm using TFS 2008 SP1

  I'm pretty new at this. Tried to make sense of the manual page for mcrypt at PHP.net when I thought a good tutorial would do a better job. So I searched yet without anything substantial. I also tried one of the examples of using mcrypt to perform the encryption and decryption with 2 functions, but it gives a warning of "Size of key is too large for this algorithm".   I'm getting used to using nant for build releases. But I have started to use asp.net MVC, and i choice make the setup for installation with a .vdproj . But, when I call the: < exec program="${dotnet.dir}/msbuild.exe" commandline='"./Wum.sln" /v:q /nologo /p:Configuration=Release' / in nant, my result is: [exec] D:\My Documents\Visual Studio 2008\Projects\Wum\Wum.sln : warning MS B4078: The project file "Wum.Setup\Wum.Setup.vdproj" is not supported by MSBuild and cannot be built. Someone have some clue, or a solution? If I use the devenv, I'll have a problem? Thanks in advance.

• Pass-by-Reference Error

  I have a hook system setup... which is working on localhost... I put it live and get an error saying "Warning: Call-time pass-by-reference has been deprecated". Now, apparently the work around is to remove all "&" from your function calls, ie foo(&$me) to foo($me) and then in foo's function definition do "function foo(&$me)". However, I can not do this... because my hooks accept an array as arguments, I need a work around for this. Like I can use "run_hooks ( 'hook-name', $me );" or "run_hooks ( 'hook-name', array ( $me, $another_var, etc... ) )"; So this means I can not use "function run_hooks ( $hook_name, &$arguments )" because I'll get an error in php saying it can not pass "array()" as reference... Any ideas an a work around? Thanks.
