  • OrderBy on children in a LINQ Query

    Hello everybody I have a user entity who contains a one to many relationship with a role entity So with this linq expression : from user in USER_TABLE.Include("USERROLE_TABLE") order by user.Name select user I can get users with related roles as a child. My problem is that i want to get roles of each user ordered alphabetically. How can i do that ? I googled a lot and don't find anything Thank's by advance !

  • WinCheat / WinSpy-like tool for C++ Builder exes

    I just came back to C++ Builder after 5 or more years away. I seem to remember a nice tool where I could drag its pointer over the GUI of my running application and get lots of info about what was pointed at - handle, size, text, parent, children, etc IIRC, if the exe include debug info I could also get the actual variable name as used in the source. Does anyone know what program I am talking about? Thanks

  • Android - Retrieve all data from a SQLite table row

    I have searched and cannot find an answer to my issue so i hope i am not completely barking up the wrong tree (so to speak). I am new to android and have started to create an app. My app on one screen creates and adds entries to a SQLite database using public class DatabaseHandler extends SQLiteOpenHelper and this all appears to work. I retrieve all the data and populate it into a grid, again this now works. My issue is I am unable to retrieve one complete line from the grid. I populate/display the grid with the following code. I have cut a lot out as the grid is made in stages, header, blank lines etc but the grid does display as I want. The id’s work as when I touch a line it displays its unique id. The onClick is right at the end and when I use getText() instead of getID() all it returns is the data in the labelDate. How do I retrieve all the labels as listed below?     I have two tables - Parent table (Clients- ClntID,ClntName) And Child Table ( Orders- ClntID,OrderNumber,OrderDate) - Order Number column has a value equal to how many orders the Client has. It is not an autonumber ClntID ClntName 1 Company A 2 Company B ClntID OrderNumber OrderDate 1 1 11/1/2009 1 2 11/15/2009 2 1 2/12/2008 2 1 7/13/2009 If I have a dataset for these tables, how do I insert the data in the Orders table and increment the OrderNumber value correctly.

    Situation: In A form I have a TableLayoutPanel(Dock= Fill) and a label (witch parent is the Form, not the tablelayoutPanel) whitch anchors are set to Top+Bottom+Left+Right. Now, when I run this form and rezise it, the label does not center itself in the Form, as I expected. Workarounds?

  • jQuery getScript function with frames

    Hello.. I'm a novice at Javascript/Jquery programming, so an apology if this is a simple/silly question. I am trying to use the jQuery .getScript() function to refresh part of an existing webpage. This webpage must be run on a local file system, and a large amount of the formatting is done using frames. Right now, there’s three main frames- a sidebar which displays possible “scopes” to choose from, a main frame which displays the majority of the contents of the webpage, and a footer frame. The main entry into the page is in an index.html file, which loads a sidebar.html, main.html, and footer.html file into each of the respective frames. In turn, the main.html has a number of javascript files which it loads, the main being a main.js, which contains numerous functions to format/process the contents for this main window. After loading this javascript file, main.html loads a few javascript files, which contain the data which is going to be displayed in the main frame. These files that are loaded have a fixed data structure, and are dependent on the functions that were loaded by the main.js file. Loading the webpage works fine now, but when a user tries to switch to another “scope”, the whole webpage is reloaded to make the switch. The only difference in the webpage is the content in the main.js frame, loaded in by a different set of .js files. Enough text, let’s look at some code. When the webpage loads, I tried to add a simple call to the getScript function in a .js file at the index.html level which handles switching scopes. This file, newFile, has different data definitions than the previously loaded oldFile.js which was loaded in the main.html file. $.getScript(/js/newFile.js); However this doesn’t work, since newFile.js depends on a parseData() function which is in main.js. If I open firebug up, parseData is not located in the dom tab, which I assume is related to some scoping issue with the main.html and main.js file existing in a different frame. I tried to do some targeting to the correct “frame” but I don’t think I understand jQuery enough to know what is happening. $(window.parent.frames[0]).getScript(/js/newFile.js); Any suggestions? If I were to type into firebug console “parseData” it can not find it: “ReferenceError: parseData is not defined” However, if I type in window.parent.frames[1].parseData, it can find the function. Sorry about all the rambling and poor understanding of javascript. Hopefully someone can provide some assistance! Thanks

    Hi I'm trying to bind a control to the parent's Height/width property using ElementName and a Path. However, I don't want to bind to the actual height, but to exactly half the height. Can the Path expression do the math? e.g. Path={ActualHeight/2} I couldn't find a way to do that. IS there any other clever approach? Thanks!
