• Need to integrate phpFox and Wordpress so that there is a single login.

  phpFox should take care of user login management, add user and edit user. But would like to automatically create a corresponding Wordpress account when user signs up for phpFox. And when user logs into phpFox user is auto logged into Wordpress so user doesn't really even realize Wordpress login or user account exists. What would be the best way to do this? Apps will be on the same server so could make native calls or use curl.

• C# equivalent of typeof for fields

  With reflection, you can look up a class from a string at run time, but you can also say typeof(Foo) and get compile time type checking, auto completion etc. If what you want is a field not a class, you can look it up from a string at runtime, but if you want compile time type checking etc., is there anyway to say something like fieldof(Foo.Bar)? I know the name of both the class and the field in advance, and I want to be able to refer to the field at compile time rather than with a run-time string lookup.

  I have a page that scrolls through images, some taller than the others. When a tall image loads it auto-creates a scrollbar in the browser window, causing a width jerk. Is there a way to load a scroll bar regardless of if it is needed, and when a tall image apears it activates itself accordingly, then deactivates its self accordingly when the image changes to a shorter image?   Given a protein structure from the PDB, I would like to generate NS spheres of radius Rs which cover totally the protein surface. Given RS there, NS is the maximum number of spheres so they do not overlap. I would need the coordinates of the center of each sphere.   Hi, I have a report in report services 2005 that has two date fields. The problem is that if users run this for a large section of time it uses too much resources on our server. It is possible to only allow the end user to enter the start date and then the end date be auto populated/derived from this field (for example they enter the 1st of a month and this automatically change the end date to the last of a month.)

• Why thread specific data is required in pthread ?

  Hi As i know, all the threads share memory location. For example a global variable changes in one thread will reflect in another thread. Since each thread has its own stack, the local variables that are created inside the thread is unique. In this case, why do we need to go for thread specific data mechanism?.
