• Java error starting with "log4j:WARN No appenders could be found for logger" in ZuckerReports SugarC

  Greetings all. I apologise for posting this problem here, but I do so in desperation after receiving no response on the SugarCRM forums. Even if a reader is unfamiliar with ZuckerReports or SugarCRM some general advice on Java may be of use to me. I have installed ZuckerReports v1.12 in SugarCRM 5.5.1. When I attempt to run a report I get the following error message. cmdline: javaw -classpath The installation in which the report runs correctly is of the same version, and has the same version of the ZuckerReports module. The report previously ran correctly on both installations. I think that the only changes that have been made on the installation in which the report now does not work since the report was last successfully run are the additions of a few custom fields in the Contacts module. These changes should have nothing to do with ZuckerReports. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the ZuckerReports module, but the problem remains. A google search for the warnings given in the error message ie. * log4j:WARN No appenders could be found for logger (net.sf.jasperreports.extensions.ExtensionsEnviron ment). * log4j:WARN Please initialize the log4j system properly. Returns a few links (not specific to ZuckerReports) with tips similar to the following: * log4j.properties or log4j.xml needs to be on the classpath where log4j can find it. I cannot find a file with either of those names anywhere on my server, and yet the report can be run successfully on one of my SugarCRM installations. So I figure log4j must be being configured another way. Can anyone suggest a way to solve this problem? Or explain how I might discover how log4j is configured in ZuckerReports? Or explain how I might compare the working with the non-working installation in order to help find a solution? (I have tried searching for files containing "log4j" in both installations and comparing but all I can find are .jar files (nothing I can read with a text editor), and the .jar files found in each installation appear to be the same.)

But when I go to the report manager URL it just says "home" at the top, and there are no options to click properties,etc. The page is mostly blank. I'm thinking maybe windows integrated security isn't turned on, but I'm not sure how to check or change it.

• Prevent Windows 7 User Accounts from accessing files in other User Accounts

  I'm trying to set up another User Account on my Windows 7 Professional laptop for use by another person. I do not want that person to have access to any of the files in my User Account on the same machine. This machine has a single hard disk formatted with NTFS. User accounts data is stored in the default location, C:\Users. I use the computer with a Standard Account (not an Administrator). Let's call my user account "User A." I have given the new user a Standard Account. Let's call the new user's account "User B." To be clear, I want User B to have the ability to log in to her account, to use the computer, but to be unable to access any of the files in the User A account on the same machine. Currently, User B cannot use Windows Explorer to navigate to the location C:\Users\User A. However, by simply using Windows Search, User B can easily find and open documents saved in C:\Users\User A\Documents. After opening a document, that document's full path appears in "Recent Places" in Windows Explorer, and the document appears as a file that can be opened using the "Recent" feature in Word 2010. This is not the desired behavior. User B should not have the ability to see any documents using Windows Search or anything else. I have attempted to set permissions using the following procedure. Using an Administrator account, navigate to C:\Users and right-click on the "User A" folder. Select "Properties." In the "User A Properties" window that appears, click the "Security" tab. Click the "Edit..." button to change permissions. IN the "Permissions for User B" window that appears, under "Group or User Names," select User B. Under "Permissions for User B", check the box under the "Deny" column for the "Full Control" row. Ensure that the "Deny" box is automatically checked for all the other rows, and then click "OK." The system should then begin working. The process could take several minutes. When I followed this procedure, I received several "Access Denied" errors, suggesting that the system was unable to set the permissions as I had directed. I think this might be one of the reasons why User B is still able to access files in User A's account folders. Is there any other way I could accomplish my goal here? Thank you.

However, when I used ADSI Edit to bind to the directory with this user's credential, I got an error indicating invalid username or password. What else do I have to do for the user to authenticate? Having this setup without conflict detection feels pretty useless... EDIT OK, so after some more research and setting up with different databases etc, I found out that the calculated 'Id' column of the Templates table is the culprit. I don't know why, but the replication doesn't seem to allow calculated columns (which are also primary key). It works now too, without the 'Id' column, and using the NodeId and LocalId as a combined PK. So now the question is, why isn't it allowed to have a calculated column as PK for replication with conflict detection?

Anyone know another way to do that?

• postgresql service corrupt, how can i re-create service?

  Hi all, I recently was tricked into running one of those registry cleaner programs (RegistryBooster). It seemed to work fine until I tried to start my postgres service. For some reason, the 'path to executable' was no longer set on the service properties page, and obviously would not start without a path. • Error while installing Xtrabackup

  I'd like to install XtraBackup (rpm -i percona-xtrabackup-2.1.9-744.rhel6.x86_64.rpm). During the rpm install it told me that it misses a dependency. error: Failed dependencies: perl(DBD::mysql) is needed by percona-xtrabackup-2.1.9-744.rhel6.x86_64 perl(Time::HiRes) is needed by percona-xtrabackup-2.1.9-744.rhel6.x86_64 Then I run yum install perl-Time-HiRes, and yum install perl-DBD-MySQL. For install perl-TImes-Hires has successful but not for perl-DBD-MySQL. Error: file /usr/share/mysql/ukrainian/errmsg.sys from install of mysql-libs-5.1.73-3.el6_5.x86_64 conflicts with file from package MySQL-server-5.6.10-1.el6.x86_64. I also had try to install : yum install cpan cpan DBI cpan DBD::mysql But still get the same error. So I hope someone can explain me what the right fix is, to get XtraBackup running on MySQL.

This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or is only available from another source E: Package sun-java6-jdk has no installation candidate I realize Java is available from many other sources, but for reasons that I can't get into here I must use this specific version. What can I do to get this installed?

It would be extra nice if it were readily versionable through an SCM tool like git. This checkbox not exist in windows 8 so we cant define in Windows 8 like that.
