  • Array/List/Directory of System.Type

    I have a lot of classes and want to create some kind of 'directory'. So that I can create menus automatically. Clicking a menu-item would then create an instance of the class and shows the window. What I want for this is an array of System.Type where I can stuff in all the classes without instantiating them. Though from my test and (unsuccessful) googling, this doesn't seem possible. Any ideas?

    How can I change the program a file is opened with by default (or at least add that program in the list of programs from Open With... ) using C# or VB.NET ? What I mean is, I would like to have programs with the extension abc open by default by the program abc.exe. Or, have the program abc.exe in the list of programs that will be shown in the context menu on the "Open With" option, for files with extension "xls".

I went to the microsoft website and I didn't quite pick up on anything i was looking for. . Also while I have your attention, how would I make it so the user chooses from either option and because I don't know which option the user will select " double MenuOption = " could be anything, whatever the user inputs right? so would what I have even work? I am doing this all by hand, and don't get much lab time to work on this as I have tons of other courses to work on and then a boring job to go to, and my PC at home has a restarting issue lol. soo any and all help is greatly appreciated. p.s the computer I'm on right now posting this, doesn't have any compilers, coding programs, and it's not mine just to get that out of the way.   • javascript ul button dropdown crashes after if doing more than 1 button

    So i have a button drop down list that i want users to select a choice, and basically the button will return the users selection.Pretty straight forward, tested on jsFiddle and works great. Using ruby on rails btw, so i'm not sure if it might conflicting the way rails handle javascript actions. But the moment I select the same button/or new button, the page immediately kind of refreshes, they selected value will not show up after the list drops down and user selects a value.
