(AHMSI) is a 3,000 employee company based in Coppell, Texas and provides services to homeowners and loan investors. With a multibillion portfolio under management, AHMSI is one of the country's largest servicers of Alt-A and subprime loans. AHMSI implemented a public-facing secure Web portal using Oracle WebCenter Suite to help investors make informed decisions more quickly and automated much of the investor approval process AHMSI reduced the time needed to process loan modification from approximately 30 days to one week.  UsingOracle WebCenter Content AHMSI can now share strategic & sensitive content in compliance with the various governance regulations.  Company OverviewAmerican Home Mortgage Servicing Inc. provides services to homeowners and loan investors. Whether a borrower holds a traditional, Alt-A, payment option, or subprime loan, the company's highly trained experts are committed to providing high levels of service as they work to address each customer's needs. AHMSI also carefully manages the loan portfolios of investors. With a multibillion portfolio under management, AHMSI is one of the country's largest servicers of Alt-A and subprime loans.  Challenges AHMSI’s biggest challenge was to improve security by minimizing the use of e-mail and FTP sites to share sensitive mortgage loan data with third parties, including estate investors.  Solutions AHMSI implemented Oracle WebCenter Suite to deploy a public-facing Web portal, enabling authorized external users to view content stored on the content server and Oracle WebCenter Content  to create a secure storage area for daily, weekly, and monthly reports. They leveraged the standard group spaces in Oracle WebCenter Portal to enable business users to collaborate more effectively.  Results By automating much of the investor approval process, they reduced the time needed to process loan modifications from approximately 30 days to one week and greatly minimized the use of e-mail and FTP sites to share information.   • Pidgin XML

    I'm looking at an xml document that gets passed to a COM object (yes, I said the "C" word) to save a new record.  You can tell by the "new|" at the top of the file before the xml declaration.  If we were saving, there would be "edit|" at the top.  Couldn't you just have a root element with something like: <myRootElement mode="new"> Ah, here's why that won't work... There's no single root element but that's ok because next we find that this document is actually several documents.  <?xml version="1.0"?> appears several times.  The final document opens with <myElementStart> and closes with <myElementEnd> so it's not even well-formed. This isn't a style thing.  This is broken.  I mean, basic well-formed XML only has two rules; three if you count the xml declaration but it works as a document for DTO purposes without it. One root element. Close all elements with a matching tag. As a result, both ends of this conversation need to speak the same dialect of broken XML in order to communicate.  To join the conversation, you must also learn pidgin XML.   • What options are there for integrating with payment gateways? [closed]

    It seems that there are only two types of payment gateway service out there at the moment; Either that the entire cart logic is handled offsite (with something like Paypal's Standard option) or the other option being that you need to go through the certification for handling credit card numbers and doing pretty much everything yourself. Ideally, for the project I'm working on, I'm after a bit of middle ground such that I can handle the cart on-site, and only pass over to a payment gateway (with an order amount, billing & delivery details, and order ref) for them to handle the card details, before passing back. I'm sure that I've used e-commerce sites using this pattern before, but I cannot find any payment providers out there that offer this sort of option, so are there any? The only over requirement we have at present is that it must accept orders in Sterling.

  • Trying to setup a gateway via pppoe

    I just installed Ubuntu 12.04 on a computer. I want to use this computer as a router for my other computers. The computer only has 1 network card, there is no slot for a second card. I can get the computer to connect to my ISP via pppoe and it can access the web. However the other computers on my local net can only see the router computer. I have tried 2 different pppoe packages, roaring penguin and network-manager-gnome. When I get it to work I will be replacing a 15 year old computer that is running Slackware 7.1. The old computer is currently my router. It is running Roaring Penguin I tried to setup the new computer with the same Roaring Penguin parameters as the old computer. Bob

    looking to host a handful of sites for myself, family and a couple of friends. i'm running ubuntu 14.04, with a bind9 authoritative name server, apache2, mysql, php5, postfix/dovecot... i have everything running with a single domain i'm already paying for. looking to run multiple sites, some with their own domains, with out having to pay for more ip address's or 3rd party services, other then the individual dns names. thanks andrew

    So you have used XML to give you some schema flexibility in your database, but now you need to get some data out.  What do you do?  The solution is relatively  simple:   DECLARE @iDoc INT /* Stores a pointer to the XML document */ DECLARE @XML VARCHAR(MAX) /* Stores the content of the XML */   set @XML = (SELECT top 1 Xml_Column_Name FROM My_Table where Primary_Key_Column = 'Some Value')   EXEC sp_xml_preparedocument @iDoc OUTPUT, @XML   SELECT * FROM OPENXML(@iDoc,'/some/valid/xpath',2)                      WITH (output_column1_name varchar(50)  'xml_node_name1',                                                     output_column2_name varchar(50)  'xml_node_name2')   EXEC sp_xml_removedocument @iDoc   In this example, the XML data would look something like this:   <some>   <valid>     <xpath>       <xml_node_name1>Value1</xml_node_name1>       <xml_node_name2>Value2</cml_node_name2>     </xpath>   </valid> </some>   The resulting query should give you this:   output_column1_name    output_column2_name ------------------------------------------ Value1                 Value2   Note that in this example we are only looking at a single record at a time.  You could use a cursor to iterate through multiple records and insert the XML data into a temporary table.

Das gab es bei Enterprise Manager noch nie: Alle Plattformen haben die gleiche Priorität! In dem neuen Release wurde die Stabilität nochmals verbessert und einige Wünsche unserer Kunden verwirklicht. Auch einige neue Funktionalitäten, wie zum Beispiel "Java as a Service" stehen nun zur Verfügung. Neben dem Cloud Control Framework wurden auch einige Plug-Ins erneuert. Cloud Control 12.1.0.2 ist ein komplettes Release und der Download enthält alles für die Installation des OMS und Agenten.   • Tracking 502 bad gateway error

    I moved my Wordpress site to WP Engine and now I constantly get 502 errors. I spoke with support and they said that its because I have a lot of DB queries. I ran some tests and my frontpage only has 95 queries and page size is about 500kb. Most inner pages are around 60 queries. All queries are very short. Some people tell me its common with WP Engine because they run nginx. Why do I keep getting these errors and is there a way to track how many of them happen on daily basis? P.S. WP Engine log is empty so cant see the 502's there.

  • PHP/Oracle Connectivity randomly "drops out"

    Hi! Here's the current situation - I have two web servers (for now named A and B) and two database servers (named C and D). The web servers are quite old, and are running an early version of Apache 2 + PHP4, while the DB servers are running Oracle 9i and 10g respectively. We're experiencing a strange problem connecting (via PHP code) to database A while on web server B only. Web server A has no issues at all... Randomly, web server B will report a "Not connected to Oracle" error (3114). I can't see a real pattern with this, but refreshing a few times seems to fix the issue. Apparently there are no drop-outs on the network interface, which leads me to believe that there's some misconfiguration between PHP/Apache and Oracle (which uses connection pooling). We're running SunOS 5.8... Any ideas?
