How can I display the "first time here" bar like SO and slide the other DIVs down?

I implemented the code to dislay the bar at the top of the stackoverflow screen: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/659199/how-to-show-popup-message-like-in-stackoverflow What this does is display the div over top of the div at the top of the page. How can I display the new "bar" div and push the others down? Just like StackOverflow does.

I've used ( and still use ) mercurial and git. I have some repos hosted in a server with gitosis which is great and easy to setup. I am looking for a similar tool for hosting mercurial repos. It must provide minimal acl and ssh access and allow for remote config ( in the style of gitosis's "clone the admin repo and push changes" ). Extra points for automating hgweb config via said tool.

Hi i tried to implement a servlet with servlet (in tomcat 6) which act as as a proxy (for browser), it takes the parsed url, use apache httpclient to get the result & push it back to the client (browser), with http it works well, doesnt work with https , seems the problem concerns unsupported CONNECT method in servlet-api & servlet even doesn't see the request is there any solution/workaround for this? thanx in advanced

Is there any way to stick child button element to bottom of parent element when number of child elements vary? Parent element is fixed height, and could be scrolled vertically in case of child overflow. In that case, button should be at the end of child list, but in case there is no children, or children size don't push parent element to overflow, it should be at bottom of parent element. I have an array of products that are stored as Strings in this format productname:quantity. The issue I am running into is that if a user adds one product with a quantity of x it is inserted into the array as it should. However, if they then decide to add more of a particular product a new entry is made into the array instead of checking if the product already exists and adjusting the quantity to the new value. oldQty + newQty. For example this is my array: ["CBL202659/A:1","OUTER9:1","PALLET CARDS:1"] If I add another PALLET CARDS product it creates a new entry rather than updating the quantity of the existing item to 2. I have a navigation bar which i push 2 navigationBarIems without animation (animate:NO). I am animating the transition from views, so i don't want those items to animate atomatically. The problem is that when i touch the button from the bar to go to the previous view in the stack, it DOES get animated. How can i change that behaviour?
