• Error while creating in app purchase in itunes connect

  I'm having trouble while creating an In App Purchase in iTunes Connect. I have created a test user and am able to see the form for creating the in app purchase. However, when pressing 'Save' I get the following error message: "There was an error saving changes. Please try again later. If the problem persists, please contact us." This error has persisted for about 24 hours now. Have you encountered this problem, and do you know any way to get around it? Edit 2009-11-10: I just received a response from my email to Apple. It stated that they will start looking into it, and expect to have a solution within three business days. As soon as I hear something new, I'll post it here.

• Recommendations on resolving a cs1705 error

  I'm upgrading a number of solutions from Visual Studio 2008 to Visual Studio 2010RC. In the process of doing this, I've encountered two instances of compiler error cs1705, one for System.Core and another for System.Data.Linq. In each case, an assembly compiled earlier has a reference to the .NET 4.0 version of these system assemblies, while the web project I'm trying to compile only has references to the .NET 3.5 version of them. Adding .NET 4.0 versions of System.Core and System.Data.Linq to the web project doesn't resolve the error. Removing the .NET 3.5 versions of the assemblies so that only the .NET 4.0 versions remain results in even more errors. Any recommendations on how to resolve this error would be greatly appreciated.

• Flex HTTPService security error using Safari

  I'm using the HTTPService object in actionscript to send some data to a php file on another server which then inserts the data to a database. I set up the crossdomain.xml file in the root of the directory that contains the php file to get around any security issues. Everything works fine on Firfox 3.5 (on mac and pc) and on IE 7 & 8. When testing on Safari 4 I get an error which would be expected when a crossdomain.xml doesn't exist.   I have a recursive query that returns an error when I run it; in other databases (with more data) I have not the problem. In my case this query returns 2 colums (ID_PARENT and ID_CHILD) doing a recursion because my tree can have more than one level, bit I wanna have only "direct" parent. NOTE: I tried to put OPTION (MAXRECURSION 0) at the end of the query, but with no luck. The following query is only a part of the entire query, I tried to put OPTION only at the end of the "big query" having a continous running query, but no errors displayed.   Hi all, I am trying to call the FedEx tracking webservice. Currently I am running the sample application provided by FedEx itself (Added my test account number and other details). When I run the application, I get the following error: The remote server returned an error: (407) Proxy Authentication Required. I am inside a proxy at my organization and I tried provided the proxy server details to the webservice client using the WebProxy class as: trackService.Proxy = WebProxy.GetDefaultProxy(); and also by providing the proxy server details as: trackService.Proxy = new WebProxy("IP",8080); But I still keep getting the same error!!   I am trying to implement InApp purchase in my application. I have implemented it as per Apple's programming guide and it(code) was working fine until I created new application, appid, provisioning profile and in-app products @ another developer account. Now, it gives me following error. Error Domain=SKErrorDomain Code=3 UserInfo=0x2a5a00 "Cannot connect to iTunes Store" Same code works fine if I use previous developer account's appid, pro-certificate and product ids. This is very strange issue, I double checked product id names and other things still facing same error. Any clue..?

• MIDL2003 Error in VC6 project

  While bug fixing I tracked a problem to an old vc6 compiled dll that hasn't been touched in nearly 3 years. After checking out the most recent source I am getting the following error when trying to compile. Processing C:\PROGRAM FILES\MICROSOFT SDK\INCLUDE\msxml.idl msxml.idl .\ocidl.idl(1524) : error MIDL2003 : redefinition : IErrorLog .\ocidl.idl(1541) : error MIDL2003 : redefinition : IPropertyBag Google gives lots of suggestions regarding Visual Studio 2002 - 2003 errors but I can't find anything that relates to Visual Studio 6 or can be applied to my problem. I did find this page but following it's advice didn't fix my problem. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this? (I am presuming that it did work once.) Other items of interest: I have the February 2003 Platform SDK installed, and looking at the add/remove program page I have Micrsoft XML Parser and SDK, MSXML 4.0 SP2 and MSXML 6.0 Parser too.

• Getting Phing's dbdeploy task to automatically rollback on delta error

  I am using Phing's dbdeploy task to manage my database schema. This is working fine, as long as there is no errors in the queries of my delta files. However, if there is an error, dbdeploy will just run the delta files up to the query with the error and then abort. This causes me some frustration, because I have to manually rollback the entry in the changelog table then. If I don't, dbdeploy will assume the migration was successful on a subsequent try. So the question is, is there any way to get dbdeploy use transactions or can you suggest any other way to have phing rollback automatically when an error occurs? Note: I'm not that proficient with Phing, so if this involves writing a custom task, any example code or a url with further information is highly appreciated. Thanks

My WCF Server uses WebOperationContext.Current.OutgoingResponse.SetStatusAsNotFound(); To return a 404 Error code however my WCF client interperts it as an EndPointNotFoundException There was no endpoint listening at http://myUrl that could accept the message. This is often caused by an incorrect address or SOAP action. See InnerException, if present, for more details.   So, I haven't been in an XCode project on this machine since last summer, and now when I try to access the repo through SCM Configuration in preferences I get the following error: Error: 200019 (Incompatible library version) Description: Mismatched RA version for 'http': found 1.6.2, expected 1.6.5 I know at some point I updated my subversion client through MacPorts and is probably the cause of the problem. So I located all the svn programs on my path and replaced them with symlinks to the /opt/local/bin/svn client thinking that would do it (note that /usr/bin/svn --version yielded the same error message as XCode. Somehow XCode (3.2.1) is still pointing to some older 1.6.2 files. Can someone point me in the right direction on getting XCode svn integration cleaned up?

  Hi, I am trying to use ActiveMerchant to make a Paypal Recurring transaction call. I used the patch here: http://blog.vuzit.com/2008/08/01/paypal-website-payments-pro-us-with-recurring-billing-and-activemerchant/ and I'm stuck on this here: ActiveMerchant::Billing::PaypalGateway.pem_file = File.read('paypal_cert.pem') I am fairly sure the pem file is correctly downloaded from paypal. The error I receive is: /Library/Ruby/Gems/1.8/gems/activemerchant-1.5.1/lib/active_merchant/lib/connection.rb:129:in initialize': Neither PUB key nor PRIV key:: nested asn1 error (OpenSSL::PKey::RSAError) from /Library/Ruby/Gems/1.8/gems/activemerchant-1.5.1/lib/active_merchant/lib/connection.rb:129:innew' from calling the commit method from line 49 of paypal_pro_recurring. I simply have 2 files - paypal_pro_recurring.rb from the tutorial and paypalTest.rb which I wrote and simply requires all files and calls the function. I hope the error isn't something stupid like I must require from an environment file or something. Thanks all!

  I would like to use get_or_create to check whether an object already exists in my database. If it does not, then it will be created. If it does exist, then I will not create the new object, but need to raise a form error to inform the user that they need to enter different data (for example, a different username). The view contains: p, created = Person.objects.get_or_create( email = registration_form.cleaned_data['email'], defaults = { 'creationDate': datetime.datetime.now(), 'dateOfBirth': datetime.date(1970,1,1) }) So 'p' will contain the existing Person if it exists, or the new Person if not. I would like to act on the boolean value in 'created' in order to skip over saving the Person and re-display the registration_form and raise an appropriate form validation error. The alternative I'm considering is doing a check in a custom Form validation method to see whether a Person exists with the data in the provided 'email' field, and just raising a validation error.

• Visual Studio 2008 debug does not stop on error

  I have a simple Windows App written in Visual Studio 2008 (.NET 3.0, C#). Without making any change to the project, solution or Visual Studion (from what I can remember), something weird is happening: when I debug (or run) my application, when it hits an error, Visual Studio does not show me any messagebox with the error, and does not stop execution. It "looks" like nothing happended... the code after the error is not executed, but everything else continues to behave like nothing had happened. Any ideeas about what might be wrong? I don't think it's a big deal, but I can't seem to find it. Thanks!

  Hi I'm receiving the following error on my shared hosting box: SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 5 Out of memory (Needed 4194092 bytes) This error is only triggered on a specific page. I guess this indicates that I am reaching the upper limit of the 64MB allocated to me in my current MySQL environment. Does this mean that a single query is going over (returning) 64MB of data? If so, i guess i can just track down and tune that specific query? Or isnt that the correct approach? Thanks Jon

• Visual Studio 2008 Unexpected Error on Project Checkout with VSS 2005

  I've encountered an odd misbehavior of VS 2008's integration with Visual Source Safe 2005. Situation occurs when I fire up VS2008 when a project is checked out to someone else, and later they check the project back in, while I still hold the VS2008 open. If I at that time add a new item, VS2008 tells me that my action has caused a check out of the project and a new version has been loaded from source control. Fair enough, but thereafter I get an error dialog stating "Visual Studio has encountered an unexpected error" with OK at every subsequent action, such as save file and search text, making it almost unusable. This is overcome by closing VS (which pops the error dialog once more) and restarting. Is there some kind of fix or workaround to this (besides the obvious ones: "don't try to check out the project when it's checked out to someone else", or "get latest version if you think the other person may have checked the project back in")?

• Feature Activation Error(Cannot Add Dll to GAC)

  Hi.. we have created a feature ,which have got 2 application pages. one is to activate the user control and the other one is for database configuration,for the database configuration the user have to give the .mdf and .ldf files to restore the database. For the restoration of database we have used microsoft.sqlserver.replication.dll, the feature is working fine, but when we deploy it on any other machine, at the time of activation it gives error, and the error is: Error: Cannot add the specified assembly to the global assembly cache: Microsoft.SqlServer.Replication.dll. Does anyone know how to solve this? Thanks SAAD
