    I have a django html form for address information. There is standard street, city, state/province, postal code, country fields. The country field is a drop down list. How can I make the state/province field a drop down list if the selected country is united states and a free form text box if the country is anything else? I'd prefer not to have to do a round trip to the server so probably through jquery?

  • Is an editable select box the right way?

    I have a scenario where a user is emailing another user in an HTML based web app. For the To: field, the user may select one of a pre-defined list of emails OR enter their own ignoring the pre-defined options. What would be the best way of doing this from a UI point of view? I've looked at editable select boxes using jQuery but none seem to let you enter your own option. Is there some other UI mechanism that would work here?

At the same time when the image is clicked it opens up a new tab and tries to load the image that is being downloaded.   • Stretching DIV to 100% height and width of window but not less than 800x600px

    I have a page that needs to stretch and resize with with window and I've managed to do that but I need that the "inner div" (#pgContent) stretch if the window is resized to higher dimensions but that it doesn't shrink more than, let's say for example 800 x 600 px. As I have it now it stretches well but it also shrinks more than I want! It's working as I want in width but not in height!?     Hello: I have a simple webpage that displays the credit balance for calling cards. So far without any problems, with HTML, PHP and mysql, I was able to retrieve the balance from a data base. But I have to display the result in ANOTHER PAGE, wich looks akward because the page must reload. Can I just load this value into a pre-drawed field under the input fields that collect the data from the customer?
