I read the whole page, and can't seem to find out for sure if SP1 is a full install or if it needs SQLServer CE 3.5 first. Does anyone know?

    Like the title says, i want to disable images, and ActiveX Controls in the vb6 webbrowser control using DLCTL_NO_RUNACTIVEXCTLS and DLCTL_NO_DLACTIVEXCTLS Microsoft talk about it here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa741313.aspx But i dont see any way to access IDispatch::Invoke from the vb6 application.   • Can I somehow know which replacement is taking place from within a callback of preg_replace_callback

    I'm using preg_replace_callback to substitute particular tokens within the string. But apart from actual token I need to know as well whether that token was first, second or third in a subject string. Is there any way to access that info? I found an argument $count in preg_replace_callback definition (http://php.net/manual/en/function.preg-replace-callback.php), which counts replacements, but I'm not sure if it is accessible from within callback. Any example of the usage in described context?

    Hello all, I'm looking for a Win32 equivalent of the .Net Encoding.GetEncoding Method to be used in Delphi7. What I would like to achieve is to convert a Codepage ID (ie.: 28592) to a Codapage name (iso-8859-2 in this case). After a few searches on the we I tried downloading and running the sample the source here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/cc164067.aspx I get a compile error: error C2440: 'static_cast' : cannot convert from 'UINT (__thiscall CStaticLink::* )(CPoint)' to 'LRESULT (__thiscall CWnd::* )(CPoint)' 1 Cast from base to derived requires dynamic_cast or static_cast (VS 2008) The tooltips functionality seems to be a bit of a challenge. Any suggestions on how to get this working are much appreciated.

I know that the ECMA Script specification does not specify which algorithm to use, nor does it specify whether the sort should be stable. I've found this information on for Firefox https://developer.mozilla.org/en/Core_JavaScript_1.5_Reference/Global_Objects/Array/sort which specifies that firefox uses a stable sort. Does anyone know about IE 6/7/8, Chrome, Safari?

    I'm using the winmm.dll API method waveOutGetPosition to get the current position of the playback of a WAV file. Sometimes this works as expected for me, but eventually one of the calls never returns and my application locks up.   • What is auto-mounting my media volume?

    Something is repeatedly mounting my "media" share, doing something with it, then quietly un-mounting it with no notifications at the user level. from the little I can gleaned from the console messages below, I thought I'd managed to stop it, if not understand it last night when I followed instructions for deleting all traces of the Google Update Daemon. I've not been using any Google apps whatsoever, so I was surprised to see that in Console. What's more surprising, and perhaps a little distressing, is that the same thing occurred this evening, when the Google Daemon is long gone. I don't have that log because I can't recall precisely what time it occurred. I'll do a search and provide it if you wish, though. In the meantime, any help with this would be extremely appreciated. I've asked over at Apple Discussions but I think it might be a little deeper than those manning the boards this weekend are comfortable with. It's certainly beyond my meager skills.     hi- i'm following the instructions on how to build a custom search provider for windows federated search: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd742956(v=VS.85) i'm returning local results of the form: File://C:\Users\user\file.txt however, when i perform a search, i get results that say: "This item was blocked because of your Internet security settings". how can i change my security settings so that federated search will allow my customer search provider to return local filesystem results? thanks.

    The Zend Tutorial lists many assertions to check the output generated by a request. http://framework.zend.com/manual/en/zend.test.phpunit.html But they all seem to assume that the output is html. I need to test json output instead. Are there any assertions helpful to check json, or is there at least a generic way to make assertions against the output? Anything that doesn't rely on the request outputting html?
