• Access to a single pixel in C#

  Hello, I'm working on a school project right now. It's meant to be a 3D editing software, (like a very minimized version of Maya). I have to write it in C#, using the 'Windows Application Project'. I intend to implement all the 3D stuff myself, from projections to shading. My question is, how can I get direct access to a single pixel in the C# windows application? I know I'm going to have a main view port in the window. But I haven't decided yet how it will be made. Is there a built in object that I can use, that will let me define the boundaries of the view port, and then paint each pixel individually? (I'm just shooting in the dark here, I don't know much about C#. I mostly program in C) Thanks, Malki.

• How to access Dispatcher in Silverlight tests?

  I am using the SL unit test framework for tests (http://code.msdn.microsoft.com/silverlightut). My code is heavily client-server communications dependant, and I access the GUI dispatcher in several places to make sure important data is only accessed on a single thread (ie. the GUI thread). This dispatcher seems unavailable in the unit tests - I have tried using Deployment.Current.Dispatcher and even created an instance of a blank control to try use its own dispatcher, but both don't work. The code inside of Dispatcher.BeginInvoke() just never executes, even if I include a Thread.Sleep afterwards.

  I want to access my .wav files which are in a package inside my project. For example I got two packages: package program package sounds From inside the program/something.class I'd like to play the sounds/asound.wav. How is this possible. clip.open(AudioSystem.getAudioInputStream(new File(filename))); clip.start(); //.... something inbetween clip.stop(); Here filename is C:\\projects\\something\\sounds\\, but how is it possible to just give a relative path to the asound.wav in the package?

  I am kinda new to database designing so i ask for some advices or some kind of a good pattern. The situation is that, there is one database, few tables and many users. How should i design the database, or / and which types of queries should i use, to make it work, if users can interact with the database simultaneously? I mean, they have access to and can change the same set of data. I was thinking about transactions, but I am not sure, if that is the right / good / the only solution.   Hi, I want to access the messages stored in inbox through my android project. I have tried the method of forming URI for sms (content://sms/ inbox) and then quering it for various parametres. But I cannot find any documentation for reading inbox sms in the standard Android Developr Docs. It was mentioned at various websites that this content has been removed from the standard sdk. The application may not support higher version of android. So, how can I create an apllication to read sms from inbox that is reliable in furture version of android. Please help !!

  hi, I'm having a problem with custom formatters in Drupal. I'm using a custom formatter on a CCK file file with the following content: but when I select it to use I get an internal server error: PHP has encountered an Access Violation at 16B357F9 Please note: 1) It sometimes worked, but the page becomes soon unavailable after a while 2) I've tried to replace the custom formatter content with a simple Hello and I get the error anyway, so it should not be related to the content. 3) I'm using another custom formatter with another CCK field and it doesn't give any error.   This is a very old problem, but I cannot seem to get my head around the other solutions presented here. I have an object function ObjA() { var a = 1; this.methodA = function() { alert(a); } } which is instantiated like var myObjA = new ObjA(); Later on, I assign my methodA as a handler function in an external Javascript Framework, which invokes it using the apply(...) method. When the external framework executes my methodA, this belongs to the framework function invoking my method. Since I cannot change how my method is called, how do I regain access to the private variable a? My research tells me, that closures might be what I'm looking for.

  Hello, I am using the query builder from Visual Studio 2008 to extract data from an Access mdb ( 2003), but I can't make it to work with a datetime field. When I run it with a third party query app I have works fine, but when I try to implement it into visual studio I can't do it. What is the correct way to extract last month data? • Unable to access static var from Document Class in AS3

  I have a Document class called "CityModule", and an asset with class "City". Below is the coe for each.   I have got a working C# code for accessing OWA mails using WebDAV against a FBA enabled exchange 2003 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/891748/en-us/) But my client's OWA (exchange 2003) has Basic authentication and SSL (i-e when I try to access the web mail link through browser I get a grey login box instead of a web page I can log into the mail box once I enter the correct details) But my same fails with a 401 error against this mailbox. I got the simple request working for the Basic authentication using – String usernamePassword = strUserName + ":" + strPassword; WebReq.Headers.Add("Authorization", "Basic " + Convert.ToBase64String(new ASCIIEncoding().GetBytes(usernamePassword))); But the subsequent WebDAV SEARCH request fails with 404 (resource not found) error. Can we use WebDAV against an exchange 2k3 with SSL and Basic authentication?

  Hello -- I'm a biologist switching careers, and trying to learn programming as a result. I stumbled upon the aforementioned book on Amazon, which jived with my liberal arts background. Despite my great satisfaction with the didactic approach, I was frustrated to see that the answers to the exercises are restricted to teachers only. As I am pursuing this endeavor on my own, this restriction dramatically cripples the value of this book. My request to the author's website for access to the answers has not been answered, and I would desperately like to continue with this book. Anyone have any experience dealing with the book's website, or at the very least a torrent of the answers? Otherwise, I suspect I will be relegated to using JavaScript for everything! Thanks!

In the onreadystatechange propperty, I need to call the callback method. How can I bring the callback variable into the scope of the onreadystatechange anonomous function?

  Hi, I am trying to do a Z-Index reordering of videoObjects stored in a vector. The plan is to identify the videoObject which is going to be put on the first position of the vector, erase it and then insert it at the first position. Unfortunately the erase() function always causes bad memory access.   I am not able to access any method with the attribute [webinvoke] in a RESTful WCF service. My code is like this: [OperationContract] [WebInvoke(Method = "Post", UriTemplate = "Comosite/{composite}", ResponseFormat = WebMessageFormat.Xml)] CompositeType GetDataUsingDataContract(string composite); On executing the above service I am getting an error message Method not allowed. I tried many ways, by modifying the urltemplate, method name and method type etc. but nothing is working out. But if I use the [WebGet] attribute the the service method is working fine. • Controlling access to large files in Apache

  Hi there, I am looking to control access to some large files (we're talking many GB here) by the use of signed URLs. The files are currently restricted by LDAP Basic authentication (mod_auth_ldap), but I need to change this to verify the signature (passed as a query parameter in the URL). Basically, I just need to run a script to verify the signature, and allow the request to proceed as if authentication had succeeded. My initial thought to this was just to use a simple CGI script, but as the files are so large I'm concerned about performance. So, really, this question is (probably) more like "are there any performance implications of streaming large files from a CGI script via Apache?"… and if so, "is there a better way of doing this (short of writing a dedicated authentication module)?" If this makes any sense, help would be much appreciated :) P.S. I wasn't sure exactly what to search for for this (10 minutes of Googling were fruitless), so I may very well be duplicating someone else's post.

JSON connectivity and table are in same class. but how to access this data in another table which is in another view controller. I hope i made my self clear.
