  • I noticed the answer to the Aug 2009 question of using VBA to set Custom Flag values

    We are actively using the Follow Up mail feature to assign users to particular mail follow up items. Although mail item follow ups are generally the province of the individual user, by changing the flag value from "Follow Up" to "User name", we can see each other's follow up tasks and group on responsible party. Currently we accomplish the Flag value change manually. My sense is the easiest way to perfect the process is a separate macro for each user. Along the lines of the macro to change the star/end due date to end of month, please define the macro to re-assign the Flag value for each highlighted mail item (previously assigned by default).   • How can I install a custom (patched) PECL extension?

    I'm trying to use the htscanner PECL extension on my CentOS 5/PHP 5.2.6 machine, but there's a bug in the latest version where a newline character is added to the end of every php_value directive. This behavior causes my include_path and error_log values not to work. The bug and the patch are documented on the PECL site: http://pecl.php.net/bugs/bug.php?id=16891 I've downloaded the latest version, applied the patch, and re-compressed the package — but I can't get the PECL installer to accept it — or any local package, for that matter. I've tried every variation of the pecl install syntax that I can think of, and the only times I'm able to get it to work, it downloads an online copy first and ignores the local copy. Can anyone recommend a method for installing a PECL extension from a local file? Thanks for your consideration.

    Using an installed trigger inside spreadsheet to call onUpdateBilling(). Purpose of this script is on edit, based on content of column "billed" (i.e. "d") will highlight the entire column the predetermined color. Page running script is shared with collaborators and they have been given edit access. My expectation at this point is the script should be run with owner permissions. My shared users are unable to run the script with the given error "You don't have permission for this action." Reached my limited knowledge and googlefu for this workaround. Any help to allow operation to my collaborators is appreciated.     This is a bit of a duplicate of this question, this question, and this question, however those solutions don't work, so I'm asking mine. I've got an array of locally defined classes and I'd like to assign it to multiple, individual variables. This pattern doesn't work: %a is 2x1 of MyClass temp = mat2cell(a); [x,y] = temp{:}; %throws: ??? Insufficient number of outputs from right hand side of equal sign to satisfy assignment. Because temp is a single cell, with my 2x1 array in one cell, rather than a 2x1 cell array with one element of each of my original array in one cell. Any ideas?

I have set my variable as string, text, object and variant already and it's not working. Do you know what code should I use to be able to do this?

    I am currently using IIS 6 SMTP to send out some of our mail and I unfortunately amn't finding the logging performed by it to be verbose enough - nor am I able to customise it to the level I would find verbose enough. I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a piece of third-party SMTP software which would allow for customisability of the logging down to the point where I can inject in my own columns or perform regular expressions on the outgoing message data or headers.

Since this a UITextViewCell I want to avoid superfluous method calls, but I want to do it right too. In my page I have a cell where edittype:'select' is set but when one clicks on that row the value for that cells automatically changes to the first entry that my AJAX call returns. Is there something within JQGrid that needs to be set or does the object I send to jqGrid have to be of a certain format to do so?

    Hi everyone, I have a UITableViewController that populates a UITableView with some data that I pull off the net. The data for each cell consists also of an image used as background, which I'm downloading in a separated NSOperation added to a NSOperationQueue with a MaxConcurrentOperationCount set to 4. As long as the image is not downloaded I'm showing a generic placeholder which I would like to replace (fading out/fading in) with the downloaded image once it's being successfully downloaded. I'm using the following code placed inside the cellForRowAtIndexPath of the UITableViewController. [UIView beginAnimations:@"fade" context:nil]; [UIView setAnimationBeginsFromCurrentState:YES]; [UIView setAnimationDuration:3.0]; [UIView setAnimationCurve:UIViewAnimationCurveEaseInOut]; cell.placeholderUIImage.alpha = 0.0; cell.backgroundUIImage.alpha = 1.0; [UIView commitAnimations]; This is unfortunately just working randomly for a couple of rows, since for the most the background image is set instantly, as if the animation started on one cell would have been "overwritten" by the next call of beginAnimations.

  • Get UITableView to scroll to the selected UITextField and Avoid Being Hidden by Keyboard

    I have a UITextField in a table view on a UIViewController (not a UITableViewController). If the table view is on a UITableViewController, the table will automatically scroll to the textField being edited to prevent it from being hidden by the keyboard. But on a UIViewController it does not. I have tried for a couple of days reading through multiple ways to try to accomplish this and I cannot get it to work. The closest thing that actually scrolls is: -(void) textFieldDidBeginEditing:(UITextField *)textField { // SUPPOSEDLY Scroll to the current text field CGRect textFieldRect = [textField frame]; [self.wordsTableView scrollRectToVisible:textFieldRect animated:YES]; } However this only scrolls the table to the topmost row. What seems like an easy task has been a couple of days of frustration.     In my iPhone project I'm using a UITableview with UITableViewCells containing UITextfields. I have seen in many apps that it is possible to use a next button to jump to the next textfield in the next cell. What is the best way to accomplish this? My idea is to get the indexPath of the cell with the textfield that is being editing and then get the next cell by cellForRowAtIndexPath. But how can I get the indexPath of the cell I'm currently editing? Thanks!

My main requirement is to dynamically modify the content of a <f:facet>, to change its content. What is the best way to achieve that? Or where is the best place in the code to achieve that? One of my idea is to modify the content of the <f:facet> directly in the doEncodeBegin() method of my renderer. This is working (in fact almost working), but I don't really think that's the better place to achieve my modification. What do you think?   • Please help me to allow my `JTable` to search the text even the table is in editable mode on key-press

    If user starts pressing keys using keyboards then JTable is supposed to be searched the matching text for him and if user double clicks on cell then Table should allow him to edit the text. And the issue is - Table is only searching text when the table is in non-editable mode and if Table is editable and user starts typing the text-using keyboard, cell is allowing him to edit the cell rather then search. Mr mKorbel has just solved my issue to allow edit only if double click on Table cell. Please help me to allow my JTable to search the text even the table is in editable mode on key-press.
