    It can be traced back to config/boot.rb, line 7: require 'rubygems' require 'bundler' Bundler.setup This is with Bundler 0.8.1 supposedly installed: ../Users/ashley$ sudo gem install bundler Successfully installed bundler-0.8.1 1 gem installed Installing ri documentation for bundler-0.8.1... Installing RDoc documentation for bundler-0.8.1... Everything I've done has followed this guide. Anyone have any clue what's wrong? Thanks :)

    Hi! I'm doing my VERY first project using python/django/eclipse/pydev following this guide http://docs.djangoproject.com/en/dev/intro/tutorial01/ My only addition is the use of Eclipse/pydev. I'm getting many errors related to "Unresolved imports". I can remove the errors using "remove error markers" and my site runs perfect (I can browse it) but I want to get rid definitively of this problem since errors appear again after I removed them. Any ideas?

I was looking through the style guide, http://www.python.org/dev/peps/pep-0008/, which "strongly recommends" using a 4-spaces indentation style for new projects. But I just hate this idea! In my opinion, tabs are better for this purpose. What annoyances could crop up one day if another developer wanted to work on my tab-delimited files?

    I'm creating a static library to share using the following guide: http://www.amateurinmotion.com/articles/2009/02/08/creating-a-static-library-for-iphone.html In one of the functions, I return a "SomeUIView" which is a subclass of UIView and is defined in the public header, however I don't want to expose the internal instance variable of SomeUIView in the public header. I've tried using categories for a private internal header file for SomeUIView, but I keep running into "Duplicate interface declaration for class 'SomeUIView'". Does anyone know how to do this?     I'm trying to use Zend_ProgressBar in my project (made using MVC in Zend Framework). Unfortunately, I cannot find any full example on how to use it. Zend Programmer's Reference Guide has only some code snippets, which are not enough for me. Basically, I don't know how incorporate Zend_ProgressBar with some action in a controller and associated views.   • Wildcard subdomains with GoDaddy giving me 404 error

    I have a hosting account with GoDaddy and I enabled wildcard subdomains by adding an A Record pointing to the IP Address. However when I try opening abc.mydomain.com, I get a 404 error. I searched the web and am doubting whether I need a .htaccess file. That file does not exist in my root folder. Can someone please guide me how to configure this and a sample .htaccess file if required. Many Thanks, Arun

  • Yahoo OAuth implementation has no way to work offline

    I need to download my Delicious bookmarks to a non-web application without constant user interaction. I'm using Delicious's V2 API (using oAuth) but the problem is it seems their access tokens expire after one hour. I don't have any issues with redirecting the user to Yahoo for a one time authorization, but what is described here (http://developer.yahoo.com/oauth/guide/oauth-refreshaccesstoken.html) means I would have to refresh my access tokens all the time before they expire when the user is away. Is this really the way they've done their oAuth implementation?

  • XNA - Keyboard text input

    Okay, so basically I want to be able to retrieve keyboard text. Like entering text into a text field or something. I'm only writing my game for windows. I've disregarded using Guide.BeginShowKeyboardInput because it breaks the feel of a self contained game, and the fact that the Guide always shows XBOX buttons doesn't seem right to me either. Yes it's the easiest way, but I don't like it. Next I tried using System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow. I created a class that inherited from it, and passed it the Games window handle, implemented the WndProc function to catch WM_CHAR (or WM_KEYDOWN) though the WndProc got called for other messages, WM_CHAR and WM_KEYDOWN never did. So I had to abandon that idea, and besides, I was also referencing the whole of Windows forms, which meant unnecessary memory footprint bloat. So my last idea was to create a Thread level, low level keyboard hook. This has been the most successful so far. I get WM_KEYDOWN message, (not tried WM_CHAR yet) translate the virtual keycode with Win32 funcation MapVirtualKey to a char. And I get my text! (I'm just printing with Debug.Write at the moment) A couple problems though. It's as if I have caps lock on, and an unresponsive shift key. (Of course it's not however, it's just that there is only one Virtual Key Code per key, so translating it only has one output) and it adds overhead as it attaches itself to the Windows Hook List and isn't as fast as I'd like it to be, but the slowness could be more due to Debug.Write. Has anyone else approached this and solved it, without having to resort to an on screen keyboard? or does anyone have further ideas for me to try? thanks in advance. note: This is cross posted from the XNA Creators Forums, so if I get an answer there I'll post it here and Vice-Versa Question asked by Jimmy Maybe I'm not understanding the question, but why can't you use the XNA Keyboard and KeyboardState classes? My comment: It's because though you can read keystates, you can't get access to typed text as and how it is typed by the user. So let me further clarify. I want to implement being able to read text input from the user as if they are typing into textbox is windows. The keyboard and KeyboardState class get states of all keys, but I'd have to map each key and combination to it's character representation. This falls over when the user doesn't use the same keyboard language as I do especially with symbols (my double quotes is shift + 2, while american keyboards have theirs somewhere near the return key).

  • How can i monitor syslog messages in c# console app with TCP

    Heya, In my application, i need to monitor all messages sent by syslog. I've tried with UDP, but after one message, i didn't respond anymore (no error, just no heads up anymore). And setting up a tcp server isn't really the solution either i think. Can anyone guide me to a solution where i can log messages form syslog with tcp (normally on port 514). Thanks in advance.

  • opengl paint program based on Apple's 'glPaint' on a white background - how to blend?

    Trying to write a simple paint program for iPhone, and I'm using Apple's glPaint sample as a guide. The only problem is, painting doesn't work on a white background, since white + colour = white. I've tried different blending functions, but haven't been able to hit on the right combination of settings and/or brushes to make this work. I've seen similar posts about this problem but no answers. Does anyone know how this might work?
