I tried to get one on the otherside aswell that looked the same. But when I do it. It goes to a new line =[ How might I get this effect without using Javascript or Absolute positioning that wont look proper on all resolution sizes.

    MSVC's "secure" sprintf funcions have a template version that 'knows' the size of the target buffer. However, this code happily paints 567890 over the stack after the end of bytes... char bytes[5]; _snprintf_s( bytes, _TRUNCATE, "%s", "1234567890" ); Any idea what I do wrong, or is this a known bug? (I'm working in VS2005 - didn't test in 2008 or 2010)

    hi, im trying to replace our current journal (excel sheet) with a web portal based journal. something kind of like twitter, but with more options. also needs to have a login so we can track the people entering. it can also be some sort of tool but i cant find anything that meets our demands... i could use a ITIL ticket service but that has way to much functionalities for our use. im basicly looking for a webportal with a shared blog, where users can login and creat new entries with: a topic name a automated follow-up ID number a field where they can enter specific info a reply field and a status field with pre defined statuses can anyone help me with this? thanks in advance.   • If tables are so evil, why does joomla use tables for its layout?

    When you create a template you don't use tables. but when joomla rendereds the page, there are at least 4 places where tables are used to structure the content. Does this tell you something about tables or the fact that the joomla community should invest more time and learn how to code css or just the fact that tables are needed when you don't know what css is going to be throw in later(which probably means they are of some use)?

  • Clone Windows 7 to bootable USB disk

    I saw some posts here having a similar topic, but I haven't quite found what I am looking for. All I need to do is transfer my Windows 7 (Professional, 64bit) which is installed on an internal disk on my Dell Latitude laptop to an external USB disk in order to have my original system available for booting while installing a new system on the internal disk, which is essential since I need a working project environment for work in case the new system takes some days until fully completed. I already tried a disk clone with Acronis and Clonezilla, but in the 1st case it didn't even booted the clone and in the 2nd case it booted, but stopped with a bluescreen (and rebooted too fast to be able to see any error code). So has someone done successfully what I am trying to do and can help me out here?

    I am looking for a template engine to use client side. I have been trying a few like jsRepeater and jQuery Templates. While they seem to work OK in FireFox they all seem to break down in IE7 when it comes down to rendering HTML tables. I also took a look at MicrosoftAjaxTemplates.js (from http://www.codeplex.com/aspnet/Release/ProjectReleases.aspx?ReleaseId=16766) but turns out that has the same problem. Any advice on other templating engines to use?
