    Hello, Im using Collections.sort() to sort a LinkedList whose elements implements Comparable interface, so they are sorted in a natural order. In the javadoc documentation its said this method uses mergesort algorithm wich has n*log(n) performance. My question is if there is a more efficient algorithm to sort my LinkedList? The size of that list could be very high and sort will be also very frequent. Thanks!

    Hello everybody, I have to solve an exercise using awk. Basically I need to retrieve from 'ps aux' command the total of memory usage for each user and format like this: User Total%Mem user1 3.4% user2 1.5% and so on. The problem I can't seem to solve is: how do I know how many users are logged in? And how can I make a different sum for each one of them? Thank you :)

  • IIS Directory listing doesn't reconize .mkv files

    Hello I use the directory listing function in IIS to upload a bunch of files for friends and family to easy access and download. My problem is that .mkv files it lists but when you click it i get a 'The page cannot be found'. Ive tried relocating the file and renaming it but i get the same error each time. Why does it do this? Its only my .mkv files everything else works perfectly. Thanks in advance.

    Hello all, I'm looking for a Win32 equivalent of the .Net Encoding.GetEncoding Method to be used in Delphi7. What I would like to achieve is to convert a Codepage ID (ie.: 28592) to a Codapage name (iso-8859-2 in this case).   • YQL and FLickr query not understood in the console

    Hello, So I am trying to use YQL to access the flickr api but I have been having some issues. From reading the YQL info, it seemed like I could use any flickr query in YQL but for some reason I cannot use flickr.people.getPublicPhotos call to access all pictures from a certain person. When I try any such query it isn't recognized. Is this possible? Am I doing something wrong? Thanks!

To verify if a given in billnumber is correct i have to perform the following calculation: (first 10 numbers) % 97 = result And if the result of the calculation is the same as the last 2 numbers of my bill number, then it is verified.
