  • no such file to load -- rails (MissingSourceFile)... say what?!!

    Hello, I'm having an obnoxious and weird problem while trying to include the ThinkingTank gem into my rails project.     faacEncConfigurationPtr FAACAPI faacEncGetCurrentConfiguration( faacEncHandle hEncoder); I'm trying to come up with a simple wrapper for this C++ library; I've never done more than very simple p/invoke interop before - like one function call with primitive arguments. So, given the above C++ function, for example, what should I do to deal with the return type, and parameter? Essentially, I'm trying to figure out how to deal with these types in my managed wrapper? Do I need to create versions of these types/structs, in C#? Something like this: [StructLayout(LayoutKind.Sequential)] struct faacEncConfiguration { uint useTns; ulong bitRate; ... } If so then can the runtime automatically "map" these objects onto eachother? And, would I have to create these "mapped" types for all the types in these return types/parameter type hierarchies, all the way down until I get to all primitives? I know this is a broad topic, any advice on getting up-to-speed quickly on what I need to learn to make this happen would be very much appreciated! Thanks!

  • How do I solve "405 Method Not Allowed" for our subversion setup?

    We're serving our source code using VisualSVN running on Windows Server 2003. Recently, we split a portion of a project into a new project in it's own repository, and then linked it back to the original project using svn:externals. Since then, we've been having issues when we try to commit files with Subclipse. The error we're getting is: svn: Commit failed (details follow): svn: PROPFIND of '/svn': 405 Method Not Allowed (https://svn.ourserver.com) Googling for a while didn't really help, our config seems to be correct. It should also be noted that we've been running this server for a while no without these problems and apart from splitting the project into two repositories, no changes have been made to the server (ie, config files are the same). It should also be noted that these errors only appear when we try to check in multiple files at once. If we check in one file at a time there are no errors. Also, it only appears in Subclipse as far as we know right now, Versions.app (OS X) seems to work fine so that is our current workaround. So, the questions is how do I analyze the error to find the cause and subsequently fix it? I'm by no means a svn guru and right now I'm clueless. EDIT: It seems we can check in multiple files in the same package, but not files from multiple packages. Also, when I "split" the project into two repositories, I imported the original repository with a new name. I did not do a dump and then import that dump. Could that be the source of our issues, and if so, how would I solve that? EDIT: After some jerking around it seems as though it is indeed related to when checking in files in different repositories. If I try to do a single commit in both Repo A and Repo B (referenced by svn:externals) at the same time, I get the error. Versions.app handles this correctly, but I guess it might just be doing two commits, not a single one. Subclipse fails miserably. For now, we simply do multiple commits, one for Repo A and one for Repo B, that works just fine. If anyone smarter than me could fill in the details why this is happening, whether or not this kind of setup is stupid etc, please go right ahead.

    On any non-trivial hg installation, the hgrc's tend to contain significant stuff. Is there a way to completely ignore/bypass ALL configurations, from system, user, to repo-level? The use case is to use some hg core functionalities in some automation scripts. Currently, if anything is misconfigured (and I mess with my ~/.hgrc a lot), the scripts will abort for something it doesn't use at all. It'd be perfect is I can just hg <whatever> --config:none.

  • how do I make my submenu position dynamic based on the distance to the edge of the window?

    I'm trying to write a jQuery script that will find the distance to the right edge of the browser window from my css class element and then position the child submenu dropdowns to the right or left depending on the available space to the right. Also it needs to revert to the default settings on hoverout. I also know that it needs to revert back to default after hover out so it can recalculate the distance from other positions within the menu structure and still have those second level submenus with enough room to still display on the right of the first level. here is css for the elements in question. #dnnMenu .subLevel{ display: none; position: absolute; margin: 0; z-index: 1210; background: #639ec8; text-transform: none;} #dnnMenu .subLevelRight{ position: absolute; display: none; left: 270px; top: 0px;} The site's not live yet and I tried to create a jsfiddle but it doesn't look right. So if I'm working locally it can just pull from /home/MyName/images but once it's in production it will pull from http://images.site.com. How would I do that? I'm assuming i can set up my config.groovy with the variables i'm just not sure how i switch between them or use them in code.

  • Route Angular to New Controller after Login

    I'm kind of stuck on how to route my angular app to a new controller after login. I have a simple app, that uses 'loginservice'... after logging in, it then routes to /home which has a different template from the index.html(login page). I want to use /home as the route that displays the partial views of my flightforms controllers. What is the best way to configure my routes so that after login, /home is the default and the routes are called into that particular templates view. RAILS_GEM_VERSION Which makes sure that only Rails of version 2.3.2 or greater will be used to run this app. Is there a way of specifying both the lower and the upper boundary at the same time? So that it would run, say, only on versions higher than 2.3.1 and lower than 2.3.6?

The individual apps will be very similar but will have different resources (icon, images etc) and config settings stored in plists (server names, options etc).   • Default MVC Web Application Database

    When setting up a new ASP.NET MVC Web Application, the default connection string inside Web.Config is something like this: connectionString="data source=.\SQLEXPRESS;Integrated Security=SSPI;AttachDBFilename=|DataDirectory|aspnetdb.mdf;User Instance=true" I'm just wanting to play around with logging in and registering, etc but when I run the app it obviously can't find a SQL database. What database with what tables do I need to setup to do this? I have SQL Server 2005 Standard installed on my system, is that enough? Thanks.

I have looked at the following: JAXB - fairly heavy weight with annotations required on classes and also an ObjectFactory class and/or a jaxb.index file Simple - requires annotations but no other config classes/files. Unfortunately it can't serialize Sets. XStream - no annotations etc. required, but doesn't support generics Does anyone else have any suggestions?

My main requirement is to dynamically modify the content of a <f:facet>, to change its content. What is the best way to achieve that? Or where is the best place in the code to achieve that? One of my idea is to modify the content of the <f:facet> directly in the doEncodeBegin() method of my renderer. This is working (in fact almost working), but I don't really think that's the better place to achieve my modification. What do you think? Doing a file I/O operation everytime a request comes in seems very resource intensive to me.     I've been asked to protect a Magento module through obfuscation. I never used PHP obfuscation packages but I know how they work and I forsee some issues in obfuscating a module that is very string and xml dependant: /etc/config.xml registers harcoded class names and paths auto-loading is heavily used I cannot imagine how to automatically obfuscate a class name that will be called later by Mage::getModel('my/module'). Any recommendations?

    By default, it looks like Sitecore does not cache pages. In web.config, set this <setting name="DisableBrowserCaching" value="false"/> and create pipeline processor page.Response.Cache.SetExpires(DateTime.Now.AddSeconds(60)); page.Response.Cache.SetCacheability(HttpCacheability.Public); but it did not work, the repose head stays no-cache. By the way, I add the pipeline in the renderLayout, anyone knows? thanks!
